addison hearn I want to start this off by saying dr Erikstad is one of the best obgyns I’ve ever seen. However the office staff especially her MA are some of the worst I’ve ever dealt with. I had an ovary removed at a different hospital and instead of putting that in my chart she put that I had an appendectomy. I still have my appendix so don’t know how that got confused by the MA. I was referred to the high risk doctor for an ultrasound at 22 weeks which is Normal but all I can say is that clinic is extremely ghetto. I’ve had four pregnancies and I’ve never once been given ultrasound pictures on printer paper instead of ultrasound paper. Also the pictures weren’t even of my baby they were of pretty much everything else like the placenta and a foot. I don’t understand how a place that specializes in ultrasounds can be that pathetically bad at their one job. The lab messed up my labs and didn’t draw half of them so dr erikstad had to reorder them and I had to go get poked again where the lab tech didn’t listen when I told her all but one of my veins deflate. When she busted one of my veins she caught a massive attitude and got mad that I was right. I’m extremely concerned for having my baby at this hospital when this is the treatment they are already giving. I’m praying it gets better. I just really don’t want to have to switch from my OB. She’s absolutely amazing.im adding pictures of the crappy ultrasound images that I was given on printer paper. As you can see its not even of the baby or anything really.

Melody Pierce Long over due this hospital needs retraining. Back in 2023 my husband and I had a stillbirth. Due to preclampsia I wasnt aware I had it they had pushed my prenatel care appt back. Thats how my baby passed. When I went to my last ultrasound mind you my doctor wasnt there I asked the doctor is my baby dead she just looked at me and agreed. Didnt have no remorse whats so ever so I go and see my doctor the next day she admits me to labor and delivery as it gets closer to time the baby is coming we pushed the button but no nurse or doctor came my husband and I delivered our deceased baby ourself they came in after the fact that was the worst experience of our lives . My obgyn is awesome. But the rest of the staff and hospital were terrible.

Gulia R Dr. Buck and his nurse caused my mom to have a stroke during her tonsil removal surgery. First, they failed to inform us that she had a blood clot in her neck, despite two CT scans showing it before the surgery. They also stopped her blood thinner. After the surgery, her blood pressure spiked, and although they gave her medication to lower it, they still sent her home with dangerously high blood pressure. She could barely walk when she was discharged. They allowed her to go home in this condition, and she suffered a stroke in November 2021. She passed away two months ago. I believe their actions led to her death.
In August 2024, my mom had several doctor and ER visits, many of which were terrible experiences. Some of the nurses showed little care for patients and lacked the skills to properly assist a stroke survivor. She was diagnosed with pneumonia, but they failed to treat it appropriately. During her last hospital visit, instead of addressing her rhinovirus and pneumonia, they administered morphine, despite my explicit request not to. The doctor seemed more focused on telling me that my mom was dying rather than trying to help her. Even after providing her with oxygen, which improved her oxygen levels and reduced her fever, they stopped her oxygen supply to prepare for discharge. She was left waiting for transportation to go home without oxygen or an IV from early afternoon until almost 2 a.m. It was the most horrible experience of my life. This hospitals negligence left my mom disabled and ultimately took her life.

Charles Ferguson I have been diagnosed with cancer of the neck. The fear you feel hearing the words, youve got cancer is devastating. My heart dropped into my stomach and I immediately thought its over.
My ENT Dr ( Dr. Buck) talked to me slowly and informed me how far cancer research has come and that I was facing a 90% survival rate. That it would require chemo and radiation but said we got this.
A team was formed around me with Dr. Singh and Dr. Nguyen at the lead. Two gentlemen that explain cancer with you not to you. Their knowledge and experience give you comfort and confidence that cancer is not a death sentence.
I am at the beginning of my journey. I start my radiation in two days get a port for the chemo the next day and will start that process soon after.
The reason for this post is not about my story. Its about the staff that Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest Hospital in Waco, TX has assembled. A staff that makes you feel like you matter. I have felt comfortable and was treated with dignity and respect on every visit. Compation is the word I would use.
I am going into battle with an enemy that wants to take my life. But my spirit soul feel comfortable with the people around me. With God , I will prevail.

James umblance Here’s an expanded version of your statement:
During our visit to the hospital, starting from the ER through my sons stay, I was deeply impressed by the tremendous care and support we received. The doctors, nurses, and staff were nothing short of exceptional, attending to every detail with professionalism and compassion. Their ability to provide such attentive care, even as we navigated the challenges of being away from home in Alabama, was truly remarkable. They made a stressful situation manageable by treating us with kindness and ensuring my sons comfort and recovery were prioritized every step of the way. We are forever grateful for their dedication and expertise.
