Lauren Pulley Great experience! Returning from out of town where we were exposed to covid and showing symptoms. Called for appt and we were able to drive straight there. The lady that did our test couldnt have been nicer!

Melanie Clark The staff is phenomenal. My husband was receiving 5 day a week rehab until I brought him home. He’s been coming here since October, 2 days a week, and he’s made more progress than he was. Sara, Josh, Jocelyn and K-Lynn are amazing and are certainly doing Gods work.

Sheridan Priddy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hospital! From the moment I was brought to the ED, I was greeted with kindness and professionalism. The entire staff, from the receptionists to the doctors, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and cared for. The level of expertise and attention to detail was outstanding, and I felt like I was in the best hands every step of the way. The facilities were clean, and well-maintained. I’m truly grateful for the exceptional care I received here and would highly recommend this hospital to anyone seeking compassionate & excellent medical treatment!

Joanna B There is an amount of irreversible trauma that can be done to a person by forcing irreversible trauma onto a loved one. Every request was responded to by an excuse, every actionable response took hours of excuses after excuses. I have to assume every doctor here was hired after barely passing their medical training and the nurses only respond to tasks on their computer. My father was tortured, every action they took was wrong and lazy. I pray to God I never need to be treated here.

Kimberly Barsic Y husband was brought in for a possible heart attack, he told them all his symptoms and the fog he was in and we were put on the back burner for 6 hours until they went to draw blood for a second time. When he told them again he immediately got a room. Fast forward to 7 hours later. MRI was done 6 hours ago and still no results. Come on people he could have died how many times since we got here. This is so ridiculous we could have driven to Comanchee and received better care. Step up and at least act like you care

debbie day I think it is very sad that one review can bring down the rating of this facility. Totally untrue that they do not speak English or answer questions. I use this clinic when I need care and have never experienced anything but first rate service and care. Shannon and her staff have been very professional, expedient and personable during my visits. I love that the pharmacy is right next door. So convenient. I will continue to use this clinic for my healthcare needs.

erma allen Doctor Shannon does and awesome job. However, today she was not in. I had accidentally grabbed the wrong paperwork for the doctor to fill out. I asked receptionist if she would print it out for me. She in turn asked the LVN , Mandy, and LVN , Mandy, rudely stated that they did not have wireless so it couldnt be done. I stated it was not wireless, I could just send it via email and ask the receptionist to please print for me. She then rudely stated they were not allowed. I said Dr. Shannon has allowed this in the past. She simply shrugged her shoulders. I know its not their responsibility to print my form, but it would have been a kind gesture had she done so, or at least not have been so rude. I arrived at the clinic at 5:25, had papers filled out and after incident with Mandy I went and had a seat. Reception said I could bring paperwork back the next day and I said ok. Around 5:53, I spoke with the PA as she passed me in the waiting around. I thought she was merely going to restroom. I then saw the pharmacy close and Im still waiting for our appointment. At 6:06pm Mandy walks out and I asked had they forgotten us. She said she thought we were coming back tomorrow. Keep in mind, me and my 4 boys are sitting in the lobby, been there since 5:25pm, receptionist and Mandy could see us in their waiting area, receptionist had already processed insurance information. I cannot help but believe it was intentional. She said she thought we were coming back tomorrow. Why would we be sitting in their area, just hang out. She has horrible customer service skills.

Naiem Asadi We did our blood work at this clinic , they were supposed to send the results of our blood work to the doctor but they never did and it caused lots of daily on my paperwork, after few weeks when I walked to office and asked them why ? They simply told me it didnt go through.

universoul emss Literally the worst place. DO NOT GET MEDICAL HELP HERE. They screw over their employees every chance they get. If they don’t care about their own employees, they definitely don’t care about the patients. They also make their employees pay for missing work due to Covid even though they got government assistance to be able to pay them during Covid. SCAMMERS. They just use Jesus’ name and project an image of being Christian, but instead are money hungry, greedy, horrible people. Protest this terrible business.

Randy The young lady who drew my blood is very good. Never felt the needle. She was also very friendly and made me feel at ease.

Beau Bostick So I had open heart surgery in April I had Hendricks North a wire broke loose holding my sternum together. So we went in in October and took the wires out. On a Friday they send me home with a wound back on its a little deal that I guess sucks the trash out of the wound and got a sponge on it. Doctor tells me that if the thing quits over the before I come back to call them. So it quits on the next Saturday . So Ill call them smart aleck nurse and answer the phone says well is this an emergency well I dont know Im not a doctor if I was I would know what to do. So eventually this doctor Carlson

Amanda Deeds My mom went to the ER with chest pains. I told the ER doctor I did not want my mom being admitted to the BRMC, due to past bad history with this place. The 2nd ER doctor said she needed to be seen now & did not need to wait. So I prayed about the doctor I had never met & God gave me a piece about him. It turns out he is a wonderful doctor. He is very knowledgeable about his work. He is very kind & funny. He took his time with me & my mom & explained everything to where we could understand it. He was truly concerned about my moms heath & mine. I truly knew he was the one God had planned for her when he told us he prayed before every procedure & he said it was him doing the procedure, but it was God guiding his hands. Dr. Rivera & the ICU nurses changed my perspective of this hospital. They were all 10’s in our book.

Mackynlie Conklin I was super apprehensive of going to a dr. office that is not one I am familiar with since I am a college student. They were quick to get me an appointment, very friendly and professional on the phone as well as during my visit. The nurse practitioner that checked me out was fantastic and made me feel super comfortable! I would Highly recommend!!!

Misty Skaggs Dr. Rance Brown has been my neurologist for many, many years. He is incredibly knowledgeable but has never come across as arrogant. He has always been willing to listen (actually listen) to my questions and concerns and provides answers in a way that makes sense. I trust and respect his opinions. Ive never felt rushed through a visit but I understand he cant spend all day with me and I do try to respect his time. I have heard some of the negative comments regarding his bed side manner and in all the years hes been my neurologist Ive never experienced that from him. Now, hes not the type to sugar coat things and while I appreciate that about him, Im sure it isnt for everyone. He has always been willing to work with me and I know I can be rather bull-headed. I would recommend him to anyone needing a Neurologist. In fact, I moved over 3 hours away from him last year but Im willing to travel that distance because I wholeheartedly believe his expertise is worth it! His assistant, Christina, is FANTASTIC! She is very friendly, professional and has a GREAT attitude. Thank you Dr. Boren and Christina for everything you do. You are truly appreciated!

Shaunah Musick I take my cousins to see him, she has stage four astrocytoma brain cancer and has seizures and a hard time sleeping.. He has been treating her for over a year now and has been fantastic with her the whole time, he’s patient and understanding when it takes her a minute to remember something and he takes the time to access the situation, he has never rushed us anytime we have seen him!!!

Deb Horton Saw Dr. Boren for the first time yesterday. Terrific physician. I know. Have had cancer twice. Very cordial & put me at ease. Knows his Neuro. Make an appointment. You wont regret it!

Shane Bledsoe The office visit was a complete disaster. You would think doctor with the years experience he claims would have better bedside manners with a dementia patient evaluation. Dr. R. Boren set across the room yawning during the whole visit then seemed to ask questions that irritated my dad. As soon as he was finish the evaluating he could not get us out of the office fast enough and was not very willing to answer my questions. He definitely needs to retire if he has little passion for his job or helping patients.

Sloane Ducote Told me my seizures were pseudo seizures bc I had mental illnesses. I found out after my 20th birthday that it was focal epilepsy. Aka genetics. This is very concerning for me as I had a really bad granmall on my toilet, and had to be shipped via ambulance to Plano from Stephenvile tx. He gave me no eeg and told me this at first apt. LEARN MANNERS!

Becky C We got there in time to be seen late in the afternoon/evening. They were kind and helped us figure out what we needed. I recommend calling ahead to see how long the wait may be and if they take your insurance or not. Kind helpful people!

B S Poorly staffed, staff incapable of working fast or at least steady. Purposefully take there time. Experience is always pour. Do not recommend anyone to bring there needs there. Dont waste your time going there, should be closed down or completely restaffed!

Desirea Holmes Macy Knight is always so wonderful. She is thorough, knowledgeable, and always gets to the bottom of what is going on. We really appreciate leaving her care with peace of mind and answers. Our kids have been sick for weeks and we have struggled to get any resolution with our usual providers. We saw Macy on Monday and she got them diagnosed quickly, and on the medication they need to get better. We couldn’t be more thankful!

Spencer Middleton I would have left fewer stars due to the long wait (~3hrs), but the staff was amazing and very caring, from the Receptionist (Monica?), the 2 nurses, to Richard Taff, PA. My daughter and I were cared for with respect and thorough intent. Thank you! I can see why the clinic was so busy with a long wait, because the service was great!

willie bradshaw The Staff were great and Doctors Friendly, but lacked experience . the facillitys were nice .there is no surgion on staff at the Hispital ER but having a lab on location helps , as well as Hellicoptor service to a level 1 trama center at Scott and White, Temple Texas.

Debby Roach This clinic has made my cry twice!1st I locked my keyes in the car during the covit scare.The woman at the door refused to let me back in the bulding to ask for a coat hanger or get my contacts number from my chart .I was inTears and ask for the number to a locksmith witch I didnot have money for.Lucky for me a very sweet employee helped me. 2end They said I was late for my appointment at 11:45 and I was in the front at 11:42.I had to call supervisors to get seen that day as I donot live in Brownwood Both times I had aligater tears streaming down my face in excrusiating pain ! Beware!!!!

DAJNOY Doctors and nurses are great, very professional and informative. One receptionist made it an awful experience, Angela I think is her name. Very rude when paperwork didnt go smoothly, shes an awful and horrid woman.

Glenda Miller I went to James Deal to get a jel shot n the knee. He has always had a bad bed side manner with me but his shots never hurt me. We were just talking about that when he but that needle in me and started pushing the medicine in me and I came unhinged. He said "o, spoke to soon did ya". I screamed and hollered, crying. He didnt put lidocaine in it. Then he told me not to come back. I guess he was making sure I never would!

Alanda Eickhoff Fire everyone and close the place. One of the biggest headaches and waste of time in the entire world. Need anything including a test don’t bother. You will be lied to, gaslighted and they will close for two whole days without notice.

You enter the room for another hour waiting for them to say that everything is fine. Now I have had super severe earaches for 4 hours and they dont care about the pain. people should do something about it

Amanda Castillo Never thought I’d be one to share my experience but I need to share this. Y’all please do NOT COME HERE. They are absolutely terrible. Nobody checked on us, no help, no urgency. We were sent home with a major head injury saying we’re fine Go home. Nobody assisted to get in vehicle, nobody offered help to go to the restroom, not even no slip socks. . Not to mention there were NO doctors?. Thankfully we had EXPERIENCED MEDICAL PEOPLE IN THE FAMILY that helped NOT THE STAFF. Save yourself and your family and go somewhere.

aidan fff This is by far the worst hospital in the nearest hundreds of miles. For starters even as a kid I have never had less than a 5 hour wait time nor do I even know anyone who has had less than that. Some people are stuck waiting for more than 15 hours with intense stomach pains leaving them throwing up in the bathrooms. The hospital isnt clean nor does it feel like they even have a daily cleaning crew. I remember when my grandmother passed away I was told that I wasnt allowed to wait in the weighting room because it had reached max capacity yet was still full of empty chairs. They were more worried about how many chairs were open than whether or not a child was with his parents for the passing of his grandmother. They lack Sympathy or any care for what someone might be feeling at a time of need. You are better off driving to Abilene than even attempting to come to this terrible hospital. The hour drive is a million times worth avoiding the 5 hour wait.

Ravens Moon I would give zero stars if possible. Do not use the GI department at Hendricks in Brownwood!! Elizabeth is a nurse practitioner but is in charge of the entire GI department. She is nice, soft spoken and will promise you the moon in terms of getting appointments set up, paperwork done, questions answered etc. that is a lie. Nobody in that department will do anything. I had to call the hospital and set up the appointment for my colonoscopy and endoscopy myself. Nobody told me where to go, what to expect, who would perform the procedure, no info on lab work or possible EKG. Had to drive to the hospital again to ask the front desk where to even go as my procedure day was a few days away. I called and left messages multiple times to the department with nobody calling me back. Drove up to the doctors office and finally got one sheet of paperwork telling me not to eat or drink anything the day before. Had to dig the information out of the nurse on who was the doctor that would perform the procedure. Was given a fake phone number to that doctor. Googled him and he was from India and worked in Austin. His reviews were terrible! Doctor Reddy GI. Two star out of five with multiple people saying he almost killed their loved ones, was unprofessional and his office was so dirty it was “disgusting”. Cancelled my appointment and will go out of town!

Jillian Goss I was very pleased to be referred to a GI doctor in my new small town. I had a hemorrhage and saw Dr Horton in the 2 days in the hospital. I saw Elizabeth, his PA at the office a few weeks later. She was kind and attentive and her bedside manner was reassuring. She was very adamant to tell me, more than once, that my case was complicated and that she would be putting my case on her visual board she described in detail. I would hear from her very , very soon with an action plan to help me. I left hopeful and those hopes were dashed when six weeks later during an ongoing bleeding incident, when I’d still not heard from the office, where I was chastised by her nurse with a comment so out of line...I left and have found a much better fit. The staff is detached. Elizabeth Navarro, PA does not follow up. The basics is all you will find there. They don’t answer the phone and return a portal message after the phones are shut off. I’ve never written a review like this. But I am fighting medical issues. I won’t fight the doctor who’s treating me. Very very disappointing.

Steven Beslanowitch Ive seen Elizabeth 3 times at this point with no resolution. The third time she saw me she didnt even remember who I was . After her telling me she would advocate for my health, I have left multiple voicemails and been ignored for months at this point .Dont waste your money or time !

William Crane Set up for a procedure; asked at the time “are there instructions, I may need at anything?” The response was the office will send it out. Two months later and after many calls inquiring as to if I needed to do anything, they reach out on prep day and say we sent instructions see you tomorrow. I of course didnt go through with the procedure. If this is how they care for people, with paperwork. Absolutely I would not let them touch me. If you have a job, just do your job. It’s really not hard. No stars is a better option for this facility.

Joe Thacker Great place if you are having problems with digestive system. Becca is a receptionist, always informed and friendly. Jessica the nurse is knowledgeable, and efficient. She puts you at ease with her kindness. Elizabeth is so good with diagnosis, solutions, options, she been an expert in the Feild. We have been seeing her for over a year!
