Just Swept I am 19 now and no longer go there but let me tell you, Dr Cohen is the absolute best doctor i have ever seen in my entire life. he knows how to make a little boy terribly afraid of doctors offices leave with a smile every time no matter what the basis for the appointment was. his attention to detail for patient care is something Ive never seen so well for a childhood doctor. Dr Cohen always listened to what i had to say no matter how silly or insignificant was making me feel heard.
why im choosing to write this now is because im about to start my next big steps in life by joining the navy and Dr Cohen has been nothing but helpful in providing me with the notes Ive needed and documents to help my enlistment process.
if you end up reading this Dr Cohen just know you will always have a special place in my heart cause you were the first doctor to make me feel safe and heard.

Kate G. The receptionist was so rude and all I was doing was trying to set an appointment. She kept saying comments like, "I guess I can do that..." and she would not set my childrens appointments next to each other..she said,"HEr doctors dont do that"... why on earth would I have to take off work an entire day for my kids to go in for a check up! She stated she HAD to schedule them early in the morning and 3 hours later in the afternoon!!! He made several negative comments about the type of insurance we had! what is wrong with the people you have working there!

Mary Holder Do not take your children to this office. Both my children had been Texas Childrens patients, my oldest until she was an adult and my youngest until I took her to this office. We were previously in the woodlands and moved to Katy and went here for a new patient visit. We will never work with Texas Childrens again after the way we were treated by this office. The Dr completely ignored me telling him my daughter is Autistic and ADHD and asked her leading questions to get the answers he wanted so he could charge more money. He didnt address the actual things we needed to take care of at all. He came in with a predetermined decision on what he was doing with the visit. We talked to the manager, and she even admitted she doesnt take her kids to TCPH. She takes them to Bluefish and suggested we take her there instead. The doctor was dead set on claiming my kid was suicidal when she even told the office manager she wasnt, (if you ask an autistic child hypothetical questions, they will come up with an answer. She even took the time to explain to the office manager how he could have asked those questions better so that she would have understood what he was asking) and they charged us DOUBLE for the visit because he was doing that. He also tried to convince her to take medication she didnt need without me present. We took her to Methodist instead, and at no point did that doctor think my kid was suicidal. Instead, he actually addressed her concerns and treated her with decency and respect. She didnt need psych pills, she needed physical therapy for hypermobility. This doctor is literally one of those docs you hear about that dismisses your actual concerns and just claims you are depressed. It was literally the WORST experience with a doctor I have ever had. Take your kid to Methodist, or anywhere not affiliated with TCPA. These people just want to make money off you. Honestly I wasnt going to leave a review, but they have continued to prove that they are not there for patient care, they are there to make money off you. They charged us an additonal $260 for this mess. All in all they charged my insurance $1,246.00 for a SINGLE WELL CHILD VISIT.

Jenifer Buchanan We are currently in the process of finding a new pediatrician for our son. Dr. Wong is wonderful for well child visits and I have nothing negative to say about her. The outpatient office is just so poorly run and does not set aside appointments for unexpected sick visits. The current wait for a sick visit appointment is almost 2 weeks out. 11 days to be exact. I’ve been told several times to visit an urgent care instead. Clearly there is a problem that isn’t being addressed with the booking system. We will not be waiting around to find out if they can figure it out.

Faolan Smith Was a patient here for many years throughout my childhood. Every time I visited this office (I saw Dr.Pamela McGraw during my time here). There was numerous occasions where i felt like i was not being allowed to explain the cause of other conditions i was dealing with and they would refer me to a cardiologist on several occasions who said i had a clean bill of health and no referal was needed, as the condition they refered me for was not caused by a medical problem. I think the reason why this kept happening was because McGraw had a nurse (named Janice I believe) who was a know it all and McGraw basically let her do all the diagnosing when she was working. Janice was also who would suggest that i go see the cardiolgist, and when I told her they (the cardiologist) gave me a clean bill of health and they (Janice and McGraw) needed to stop referring me for the condition which the cardiolgist determined was not caused by a medical issue, she (Janice) would say to go back anyways just to make sure (this happened over the course of several years). When McGraw would attempt to prevent Janice from getting involved with her diagnosing/examination, Janice would stop her and prevent McGraw (or anyone else in the room) from being able to convey our points across or even let us talk about the subject at hand. Janice created an environment where McGraw (me and my parents) had little to no say in, and an environment where i as the patient was very uncomfortable in. I should also mention that when I would come in for appointments when Janice was not working, I felt way more comfortable and McGraw seemed to be way more open and calm compared to when Janice was working. As a result of the environment her and Janice created, I still have a massive fear of doctors I am still working to fix to this very day. I know there wasnt nothing I could do back then but now I can make my story known.
