Olivia Torres Dr. Cockerill is an amazing, caring and professional Doctor! My mom was rushed into emergency surgery and Dr. Cockerill walked us through every step and took such a load off our shoulders. I highly recommend her.

L. A. Dey Dr. Cockerill was able to see me quickly and I received the treatment I needed immediately. Her staff was well informed and professional. I got the follow up appointment before I left the office. I will definitely recommend Dr. Cockerill to any of my friends with a need for a competent ENT.

Gloria Broussard Daughter went to see this doctor. She didnt listen! She discounted all of my daughters symptoms and then wanted her to try allergy drops. My daughter went through that and they were debilitating. Will have to find a different doctor.

Stephanie Fluker Katie the PA was very helpful and kind. The front office staff was efficient and friendly!!! They made sure we understood the process the whole way! The aesthetic of the building is also really nice! So clean!

Jill Nabors While the services provided by the care team at Quality were good there were a couple points that I felts others should be aware of. The center charged an additional $235 to "collect blood and lab work", but these samples were sent off to Quest and not evaluated in house, which is all fine and good except you will then receive a bill from Quest. After I received the EOB from our insurance for my sons services it was noted that we should only have been charged $25. I called the billing office associated with Quality and they said that they do see that they over charged, but that they will hold over payments for 3 months and that I would be required to call back at that time to request a refund for the over payment and that they will not automatically send any overage paid to them. If you use this center watch your EOBs closely and be prompt in contacting them for refunds or they will sit on the money. This is an urgent care center close to a university and takes advantage of the students that are more than likely for the first time navigating the medical offices and their deceptive billing practices.

Heidi Brandt Making an online appointment was simple and quick and I was seen quickly upon my arrival. Everyone was kind and caring! Overall, this was a much better experience than I have had at other urgent cares in the area.

Citlali Rangel Front desk wasn’t the greatest, as soon as I walked in she just pointed to a QR code no greeting. I was the only one in there as well so it was not busy at all. You also HAVE to pay first before even getting seen or talked to.

Dayvee Brower-Warrell You can’t get any better than Dr. Medina and the team at Animal Care Center Hays County. We recently brought in our 5 month old kitten Toulouse where he was immediately treated for hypoglycemia. They saved his life- without their help we wouldn’t have him home with us today. Not only have they played a critical role in Toulouse’s pet emergency, but they also helped us save the life of our other kitten Maui when we found her on the brink of death in a field. They worked with us for 4 straight months to get her into tip top shape. Not only will she now live a long, healthy, happy life but she’ll also get the benefit of doing that with both eyes! Dr. Medina also helped us navigate the end of our first dogs life. He was 11 and the team helped us keep him comfortable through his last day. Thankfully, our two year old pup Charlee has been a healthy pup and has only needed the usual treatment from the animal center team. They are great for the day to day too! Overall, I can’t recommend the team enough. They are honest, compassionate, thorough and knowledgeable. You won’t regret taking your pets here!

aro dot My dog was itchy all time. He did have a few fleas DOCTOR recommended bravecto and it worked got rid of all fleas but not the itchy even though he also sold me a medicated shampoo. Later I found that it was the fleas AND allergies ( apparently dogs have season allergies too) another vet recommended the other products for allergies after long struggle they got spots and itch is gone. Please try this for fleas or allergies if your dog itchy before visiting the vet. Most things they will prescribe already exist in the free market. I am happy my dog is back to be the same happy creature. Also if your dog has upset stomach make them eat grass thats all they need. For best food I am not a vet but a biochemist and animals will adapt dogs don’t need carbs they do fine with protein. I buy my dog single ingredients raw meats and veggies. Go to petsmart read labels. Also I give him sprinkle machaca meat, granola (oats honey) freeze dry venison. Etc. Nothing with glycerine or preservatives. Mix it well do a 20 80 carb and protein. ITS SIMPLE : If you wouldn’t eat it don’t give it to them. For treats I do bully sticks a good brand is Pawstruck and single ingredients treat justfoodfordogs DONT buy mightypaw chicken treats say single ingredient but is not got stomach upset badly My dog loves Dona Blanca carne seca too. Just add few sprinkles. You’re welcome I saved you time and money use that money to buy what I said.

Jason Xu I had a great experience at the Animal Care Center of Hays County. My dog Rifle and his little brother received excellent care here, and I felt completely at ease with the treatment they received. Dr. Sydney Medina is highly skilled and professional, answering all of our questions with expertise. Rifle is usually anxious at the vet, but he was noticeably calmer during this visit. Weve been to several different places in the area, and this one is by far the best!

Michelle G I absolutely love this place! I have been a client here since my doggo was a small pup till now at 5 years old (pictured) . I remember looking around for local vet places around town that was affordable especially when I was in college and I came across this place. They beat everybody else’s prices and are super accommodating in regards to what you can and can’t afford. They always give you estimates beforehand just to go ahead and confirm that everything is good and price affordable. My Dog Levi is a bit of a bigger boy, and he can be kind of reactive towards other animals, and they always accommodate and make him feel secure. I absolutely love the way that they treat patients and our fur babies. I’ve already recommended two friends to go here, and they absolutely love the care and dedication that they put towards our pets.

Manuel Serrata The team at animal care center of hays county are excellent. From check in to seeing the vet, the team took very good care of my 12 year old reactive puppy. She is usually extremely scared at the vet but they make sure to go above and beyond to make sure she is as comfortable as possible. Highly recommended especially if you have a pup that needs extra love at the vet.

george berry When you walk in the door, youll get to meet Eddie, who is the greater and takes care of everything at this place. He is absolutely a joy and sets the tone for everything that you will do there. After you meet the receptionist, she will remember you and take care of you to perfection. As you head back, you get to meet the nurses and they are full of encouragement and helpful information. Now were to the techs these people are so professional and concerned about everything they can do to make your experience better. It just amazes. They also have a great sense of humor and try to make your experience as wonderful as a possibly can. Now, doctor Scott Lawson he is knowledgeable and very concerned about your questions and your treatment. Every time I met with him I knew I was going to be okay. He has a way to make you feel like what youre going through is something he deals with every day and you dont need to worry.

Ariana Alonso The whole staff provided great service! NP. Mary, and nurse aide Savannah were absolutely amazing. Very nice, attentive, and super helpful! Definitely would recommend the fast lane clinic.
5 /5
Jana Rodriguez Pros: the professional staff are professional and friendly and seem to care about their patients. Cons: the fast lane clinic is now an urgent care facility. No one informed me of this and three months after my visit, I was charged $400 to my card they had on file for small co-pays. They will also tell you, that you just choose one thing wrong to be seen for. My daughter had a UTI and possibly COVID. They would not test for both. (Fast lane urgent care) They ask patients in the public lobby about private matters. I got to hear a college student announce he had a boil on his butt to a full lobby. (Fast lane)

Courtney Riggs I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Saini and the exceptional care he provided for my ankle. After months of severe, debilitating pain that made even walking a struggle, Dr. Saini quickly and accurately diagnosed me with end-stage arthritis caused by prior trauma to my ankle. He approached my treatment with a commitment to conservative care, initially starting with medication and steroid shots to explore every option for relief before considering surgery. When these options proved ineffective, Dr. Saini recommended a subtalar fusion. He took the time to walk me through every detail of the procedure, drawing diagrams and explaining in such a clear and accessible way that all my concerns were put at ease. His kindness and professionalism throughout were invaluable, especially as I felt incredibly anxious about undergoing surgery. Thanks to his skill and care, the surgery went flawlessly, and my post-operative experience has been outstanding. Dr. Saini’s dedication didn’t end with the procedure—he’s been thorough and attentive in my recovery, ensuring that every step of the healing process has been seamless. In every interaction, Dr. Saini has been a model of excellence, compassion, and integrity. I am deeply grateful for the level of expertise and empathy he’s shown, and I would recommend him without reservation to anyone seeking the highest standard of orthopedic care.

Tracy Hildebrandt My son had a jones fracture and Dr. Saini made him feel very comfortable and heard. He took time to really listen to all of his questions, and answer them clearly and for that I am very grateful. My son was super nervous/scared to have this surgery but he told me just before he went back "Im glad hes here, I feel better now"

Randy Linley Yesterday was my first visit to see Dr. Smith and team and I had a wonderful experience all the way around. My appointment got booked quickly and everyone I interacted with from the receptionist, on were friendly, professional and thorough. I felt like they were happy for me to be there instead of just a number. Dr. Smith was great, I feel comfortable and look forward to having my care in his hands. At no point did I feel like he was rushing to get me in and out. He did a great job of explaining everything and answering my questions. I would highly recommend the Dr. Smith, facility and staff to anyone looking for healthcare.

Linda Schmidtke Dr Smith is a very nice gentleman, but him nurse is not so nice. My insurance called the office, the nurse was so bad the the insurance people wrote her up, and her behavior, which was VERY unprofessional. The nurse would never let me talk to Dr.Grayson when I needed to. I have a new doctor now who is great and nurse is so great, always want to help you. One other thing, about Dr.Graysons office has been notified to send my chart, X-rays, ultra sounds, bone density test, etc, I have had done over the years to my new doctor, which is the duty of of Dr. Graysons nurse. Today went back to new doctor, needed a test I had taken a short time ago, but didnt have my chart and other things to look at also.

Jeremy Sustaita I have loved everything about my experience here. Dr. Grayson Smith is very personable with a pleasant attitude and demeanor. The staff is attentive, helpful and very friendly. The nurses and phlebotomist are amazing as well. Very effective communication all around. Hands down. 10/10 would recommend.
5 /5
John Roberts Dr. Smith was alright, poor communication though and non-helpful staff. I thought he wanted me on way too many prescriptions without any talk of diet, lifestyle or side effects. It would take over a week to get an important refill - Id call the pharmacy on a Monday and it would sit till Friday when it was denied without any explanation or personal contact. So I couldnt get anything done for that till the following week when I was totally out of meds and that caused other problems. When I voiced my concern I was told to find another doctor and was not allowed to talk to Dr. Smith about it. So I got references and chose another doctor only to find that he was in the same network and Id been banned from seeing all of those doctors. To get in with a new doctor took nearly three months and I had to go to a $300 per visit emergency clinic just to get a refill but at least they took my Medicare. I could not recommend Dr. Smiths clinic, especially if you are on Medicare.

The Flying Brompton Recently, this office adopted a new phone system and it is not patient friendly. It simply prevents you from talking to anyone. You have to leave a message and it can take hours for anyone to call you back. After talking to the staff, they informed me it was a corporate decision and it has created more work for them as well. A lose lose situation. After a few years, I am now looking for a new patient friendly office.

Desiree Rodriguez Dr. Colon & his staff are so caring & attentive over my health & wellbeing. I’ve never had a care team that has been so supportive and helpful. They take the time to know you not just as a patient but a person and what matters to you most. I’ve been with Dr. Colon for a little over 3yrs and they have had such a positive impact on my health, my needs & truly do take the time to hear you out. EMELa Procedure went well and helped with pain. Have an issue as follows: Was given wrong information about my out of pocket cost. I specifically said that I needed to know a ballpark figure before the procedure was done since I have to meet a deductible first. Not only did I just now receive a bill for about 50% more than I paid at time of procedure, it has been 2 1/2 months since the procedure and its after Dec 31 so this additional amount I cant claim on my taxes and now Im short $$$ this month. Hey people, I asked for a reason!

Carrie Stewart My first visit last October 2024, with Dr Polson seemed to go just fine. I needed him to get me a referral to a dermatologist office, Elect Dermatology. Dr Polson handed me a copy of my referral to which he said would be sent right over. They did send the referral right over but skipped over the important part of calling my insurance company Devoted, for approval. Several weeks later in November I go to the dermatologist. I had two different appointments first to have a spot on my are checked, so they scraped a sample to send off. Results were I had cancer cells that needed removed so ergo the second appointment. Got a clean bill of health, but then I received the BILL. All because San Marcos Family Medicine didnt call my insurance to get the referral okd. Now I cant get anyone by phone or in the portal. All I need is for them to call Devoted and admit they failed to get the approval for me to see the Dermatologist.

K Noel I loved Dr. Polson and his staff. Unfortunately he moved out of state and were now having to deal with a non empathetic Dr. NATASHA DESAI. Аліна Панасюк I came on April 9, at 6:33 at the Main Office (2406 Hunter Road Suite 106) to make an appointment with Dr Polson. It was a horrible experience, the receptionist made a lot of mistakes with my name, email address, and street address, so I couldnt check in online because my information was wrong. But when I arrived at my appointment on May 3rd at 1605 Redwood R., the other receptionist was very friendly and helpful, she corrected all the mistakes and helped me with online check-in. I had an appointment with Dr Drew Polson and he was amazing. He listened to me carefully and asked what was bothering me, I felt that he devoted enough time to the patient and did not rush also he used Google Translate if I didnt understand some disease (because I am not a native speaker) which I really appreciated. I felt that I could ask everything that I wanted and add it to my blood test. Overall I highly recommend Dr. Polson as your family doctor.

Matthew McCracken Absolutely awful experience here. Call on the phone of the office which is listed here on google, say there’s only 2 people ahead of me, only to get there and the assistants tell us their walk in office is a different address. So we get to the walk in, there’s one person ahead of us, she gets out in about 10 minutes, I don’t get seen for almost an hour. You’re better off having your uncle who is CPR certified evaluate your health then these “professionals”.

I couldn’t believe that a Dr could possibly say things like this but after speaking to her for less than 1 minute it was clear this person was not only rude and dishonest but continued to call my phone and argue while I was trying to work. Avoid this person at all costs. This is the only review that I’ve ever posted but it was super necessary.

N. García I have been a patient of Dr. Schneider for almost four years and while I have always adored him and his bedside manner, the staff left much to be desired. I visited yesterday for my annual physical and it was the best visit I have had. Most of the staff has been replaced and it shows. Ms. Edna, Dr. Schneider’s new nurse, was such a pleasure to interact with. Her bedside manner blew me away. Ms. Carol, the front desk associate, was very welcoming. I had never been greeted with smiles at the front desk, and yesterday we were giggling like children sharing secrets. Ms. Joni, the lab tech, was also very friendly and I didn’t even feel the pinch. I don’t expect my healthcare practitioners to be my best friends, but I do expect them to realize that as a patient, I am already in a vulnerable position and to make me comfortable during care. Mission accomplished as the energy in the office was abundantly light and friendly.

I will definitely no coming back here.

Krystel Duff Great doctor, not good staff! Front desk is rude and unprofessional. When questioned regarding a balance, they don’t have any answers or clarification to any questions asked. Lost medical records that had been previously submitted. Bad communication and financial handling. Recommend the doctor, not the office!

charles bero My family and I have been going to Dr. Schneider for about 2 yrs. I think he is great! He has "read" my medical issues accurately and is always compassionate. My only rub is not with him but trying to talk to the nurse. When I have contacted the answering machine, I have pretty much never gotten a call back. Thats irritating. Other than that, only cudos!! 3 yrs down the road... something/s have changed. I dont know if its corporate pressure or insurance pressure but hes not the same in practice. He was a time-giving, listening and caring guy but he seems under the gun. Not happy.

Sandra Restrepo I came in for an appointment and was treated horribly by the front desk receptionist named Carol. She made fun of me and mocked me when I told her that I did not appreciate her customer service skills. She then tried to have me placed in her supervisors office as if I needed to be isolated from my appointment. Dr. Schneider is amazing and that is why I drive all the way from San Antonio to see him. The unprofessional behavior from Carol was disappointing, especially since I am in the medical field and would never make a patient feel humiliated and upset. There is obviously a lack of customer service skills with their front desk and they need to fix that fast because there are to many choices in medical doctors and having nasty people attending to check people in will make paying customers flee and write bad reviews like this. I am going to make sure she never checks me in again.

There were three nurses that stood out the most that helped me, Melissa Angie, Sonia Matthew, well four those individuals went above and beyond to assist me even when I got stressed that I had to stay longer, especially Melissa she took the time and sit with me during my transfusion And even assisted me with my wound care what I did not like, however was that for five hours, I set on a stretcher in the hallway. I understand that this is a small hospital however, patients should not sit in a hallway, waiting to be seen on a stretcher. They already do not feel good and to be in a hallway where they can easily get hurt or Catch other illnesses is not right that needs to be fixed immediately. The staff were very helpful, but I did not appreciate being on a stretcher in a hallway. I felt like less than a person.

Savannha Guzman I had the best experience at Ascension Seton Hays labor and delivery during my induction on 2/6/25. Everyone was very sweet, friendly and respectful. I was nervous delivering at a new hospital but I trusted my provider Dr. Bosco and I knew he would be taking great care of us during my delivery. I want to say the entire labor and delivery staff was amazing from providers to nurses to the Anesthesiologist that administered my epidural. The nurses who took care of me and my son after delivery were also amazing and so caring. We highly recommend this hospital to any future moms looking for a great hospital to deliver at!

Kellee Perkins The emergency room is an absolute nightmare. We waited 5 hours for a room with people on beds in the hallways. There was a patient who was PLEADING for someone to help him go to the bathroom for a good 2 hours while the nurses just stood there laughing. It sickened me! Our nurse, LIZ was horrible. She has zero personality and -0 bed side manners. She acted like she was on downers and depressed and hated her job. Also, she would never give us answers to ANY questions we asked. Her reply was "Well, thats the state of Healthcare in America" (????) She would mumble as she left the room and she KNEW my dad was very hard of hearing but she would never raise her voice above her depressed, low, monotone voice. The man cant breath but now he has to keep saying "huh"or trying to read lips?? She also did a horrible job putting an IV in his arm, even though his veins are protruding . When the nurses on level 3 saw how she had butchered his arm, even they commented saying that he was missing a flap of skin. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and STAY FAR AWAY!!!

carol peeples I had an outpatient procedure and all the nurses and staff were wonderful. My nurse Jennifer gave me my IV and I don’t even have a bruise and it didn’t hurt going in! Nurse Peter in the operating room was fantastic as well! He put me at ease and took great care of me. Every person we interacted with was so caring and helpful- from check in to check out.

Alycia Winters Amazing staff. Tried for a natural delivery but my body wasn’t able to get past 4.5cm. The nurses and doctor tried everything and were amazing. At the end just happened to have a c-section but it went amazing. The doctors, nurses, and anesthesiologist were amazing and made me feel safe and heard.

Meagan White great place if you want them to lie about accepting your insurance, sending you thousands of dollars into debt. Also great if you want someone to misread your ultrasound when inserting an IUD and having them have to redo it after stabbing your cervix. Also great if you want them to ignore your request to not have a male in the room and then letting said male squeeze your thigh multiple times. Also i spent a year and a half bleeding and they kept telling me to take 8 advil a day because it was from my IUD. It was an STD that could potentially impact my fertility, and they never thought to run a test. Instead they told me i probably had a bladder tumor and recommended a specialist. dont recommend at all.

Ruth Xiomara Abreu, CEO Viva Home Staging Design I’ve been wanting to review this place for a while but the experience has been too painful to relive it but now I’m ready to share my story. I had a miscarriage and the way the front desk and staff handle this situation was beyond disrespectful, unprofessional and racist. The front desk is the rudest and most disgusting staff you could ever meet. While loosing my baby, I call the receptionist and they didn’t even let me speak and cut me off and didn’t let me even explain or tell them my symptoms, they didn’t care at all. The nurse that told me my baby didn’t have a heart beat anymore was very racist. I told her I need to organize my work schedule because I own a business so I can take days off and she assumed that I was a cleaning lady because I’m Hispanic. Also, the doctor Kunda didn’t even want to prescribe me pain medication even though having a miscarriage is extremely painful so I had to have a friend call the office and scream at them. I gave $3000 on deposit for all the appointments and soon after that I lost my baby and they didn’t even give me my money back or part of it. Please don’t go to this place. You are not going to be treated with kindness or dignity. This happened a 2 years ago and if you read the reviews the front desk is still the same. This people have not being called out and is sad.

Amanda Rodriguez I wish I could leave 0 stars. He scheduled my induction on my daughters delivery date in 2020. Then, because I went into labor early that day (my induction was scheduled for the evening) he told the nurses not to break my water. He left me alone the entire day while he left to tend to his sons college tour (keep in mind this was during COVID shutdown in May 2020--everything was closed). Thankfully, another doctor stepped in and did amazing and I am so thankful for her. 2 years later I decided to go back and give him another try, hoping that maybe it was an honest mistake that he left me like that and maybe he did indeed care. This appointment was due to having many reoccurring sharp breast pains on my left breast. He told me it was due to me touching the area and that I was the one making it worse. I pointed to the area the pain was coming from and he told me "See! Youre touching it again". He said it so rudely it brought me to tears because all I was doing was showing him the painful area. I told him I feared breast cancer due to it running in my family (mothers side). He told me I was too young for a mammogram (I was 30 at the time). He stated that even if he did order for me to have a mammogram I "could very well end up getting cancer from that since mammograms cause cancer, too". His lack of care brought me to tears. I will never forget the haunted days of him being my doctor, especially these two appointments. I recommend you finding a doctor who will truly care and listen to you. I went for a mammogram and results show I do have signs of needing to be monitored yearly due to the results. Im glad I trusted myself over him.

Ariza Perez Love Dr Kunda and his staff so much. Friendly, funny and efficient. Dr Kunda has delivered my last two babies and I wish he delivered my first too. I feel like I’m in great hands and I’m always at ease during my appt and deliveries. He’s got deliveries down to a T and to know he’s going to be the one there at your bedside… not an on call doctor. I also love that I get to see my baby every single visit and go home with 3d pics every time. Thank you, Dr Kunda and staff!

Dylan Trotsek Worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. I was told we can only address a few things at first appointment. Turns out quite a bit of my symptoms were a result of a very apparent ear issue that would’ve been found had they checked my ears as is expected at a doctors appointment. I spent maybe an entire two minutes with Dr. Schneider who was clearly in a rush yet I’m sure felt satisfied billing insurance for a standard doctors visit. Thankfully the urgent care near me was easily able to take care of my problem that they CLEARLY missed and I feel much better. I’ll be changing doctors ASAP.

Benjamin Flores My wife and I walked into this place after being told they take our insurance. We waited 20 minutes while my wife was in obvious pain just to be told they don’t take our insurance by a rude woman in the office. We had the insurance company reach out 3 times to talk to a manager and they hung up twice and told the insurance that they don’t know what they are talking about. These people are very unprofessional and I would advise everyone to steer clear of this ridiculous place.

Rebecca Odom Dr Schneider was awful and wanted to cancel blood work I very much needed. Front desk will not let you change doctors in the practice and my insurance only approved very few drs in San Marcos so extremely not helpful. Please avoid this place!!

Lexi Driskell I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here if they were dying. Came in with pneumonia on my primary care doctor’s orders. Was immediately dismissed by the nurses and told they would not do anything because of my age, even fluids. Was given a chest x-ray for the lovely price $3000 and still never saw a doctor to explain said chest X-ray. Was handed discharge papers with a script and basically told to get out. Heard nurses giggling while I was waiting for an hour with zero contact from any of them. Ridiculous and zero patient care.

judy Pendergraft My husband just went to the er as per his Dr for blood work (due to being a weekend) for signs of infection in his jaw. The NP looked at him, gave him Tylenol 3 and narcan and sent him home, with no explanation, no testing, just complete rudeness and treating him like a drug addict. He hasn’t been to the er in over a year. Completely unethical and unprofessional.

bam Martinez I’ve come here a few times since having a baby. Most of my experiences here have been great but the last visit was the best. My son had a pretty bad infection and I read a lot of reviews of Children’s Hospital in Austin and other pediatric hospitals in Austin and the reviews were horrible and made me feel like my child and I were helpless. I didn’t wanna drive an hour to go wait a very long time in a children’s ER waiting room only to receive bad care. So thanks to the healthcare workers at Christus health my son got the care and prescriptions he needed all in under an hour.

Moczek Abigail (Abi) Denied care due to receptionists not checking insurance properly, we even called our insurance right in front of them. Had to go home, re-call insurance (who said the clinic was supposed to call them), and be seen virtually (which costs 30$ out of pocket compared to 100$-160$ to be seen without insurance at this location). Ends up, our insurance IS active despite their claims and THEY should have called to verify this instead of telling us we had no coverage.

Eddie Hernandez My children have mostly been denied care at this location due to receptionist not properly checking their insurance, saying that it’s cancelled. And was being very rude to my wife! Went to another urgent care and was told that their insurance is active. That person has no people skills nor knows how to accurately check for insurance.
