Linda Coleman I have been incredibly blessed to have Dr Watson as my PCP. He has always been very efficient and helpful with my health issues. He always follows up to check to see if I need anything. I’ve also had the pleasure of working with him and seeing the care he provides for his patients. Awesome physician and person.

Amy Garf Scott I’ve seen him twice now and he has been wonderful each time. He never makes an appointment feel rushed, like you are a name on a list. He takes his time and makes sure that his patients are comfortable and receiving the best care. He is also pretty funny, which is nice!

Melissa Nolen Amazing Doctor. Who actually cares and listens. He is by far the best one I have seen in long time.

Loveis Agiven Such a great doctor! This place is well run and immaculate. Dr. McClanahan is a terrific doctor, a great listener to the needs of the patients. Its almost unfair to have to give such a sincerely excellent review because the more people find out, the busier he may be, but its the truth. He is top quality!

Collin Thrap My family loved going to see dr mcClanahan but when my family came on hard times from me getting in an accident we missed a few appointments and was cancelled as a patient. Now everything is back in order with family life I tried to call and to get back with him but won’t get the chance. Was even blocked by the other doctors in his office.

Brittany Williams I just want to deeply express my gratitude for Ashley and Brandy! These two women are AMAZING!!! I was so honored to have been in their care. They took care of me every time I came to visit the bosque facility. Keep doing what you are doing guys, this world need women like you!

Camryn Cooley Came here to get a shot and the three nurses, Michelle, Krystal, and Alyssa are some of the nicest medical staff I have ever interacted with. I have a fear of needles and they were incredibly patient and understanding with me. I am so grateful for their kindness. The front desk employees are the same way. I had called months before and walked in but due to a misunderstanding I had to make an appointment first and the woman I talked to at the front desk was very helpful and sweet. I go to Dr. Hulme and he was very nice and respectful as always.

Anjelica E NP Seeyle is one of THE best practitioners I’ve ever had the opportunity to meet. I’ve worked with healthcare professionals throughout my career and been seen by various physicians throughout my life but I can truly say that her care is outstanding and she truly cares about hearing her patients and being as thorough as possible to create a future care plan WITH them. I will be recommending as many of my family and friends to her as I possibly can because she embodies the best clinical healthcare has to offer.

Melissa Nolen Came here when I was a kid back in the 90’s for ear infections. Came back to this one from another location. Not because my insurance (how actually recommended this location. Because how amazing everyone is) Love the staff here how actually cares about there patients. Not to mention it’s not fair from home.

Ian Wolfe Came here to potentially meet a new pediatrician for our son. The lobby was full of older patients, and we even heard someone calling to schedule an STD test. (Nothing wrong with that except for not feeling comfortable in a place that isn’t designed for children, clearly it isn’t your specialty.) We we’re told that we had to wear masks, I told them that we have medical conditions, and they proceeded to try and pry for information (totally against HIPPA laws) and then when I said we were not going to do business with them and that I just wanted to ask a medical question, the ‘Nurse’ (who was wearing two masks and a face shield) called the police on us and told them that we were refusing to leave. Totally unprofessional staff, I’m glad we didn’t even meet the doctor as I’m sure she would have been even worse. Save your time and find an actual children’s doctor that specializes in child care, and one that appreciates your business and your family’s needs.

Erica Wiley Overall, I feel like this place is decent to take your children. Just be wise and careful about the doctor you choose. Staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. At the beginning, we liked the doctor our children had. They interacted with our kids which was something the first doctor we had chosen from another center did not do. However, as parents, we felt like we never really connected with the doctor during our time there. We started to feel as if the doctor started getting too scientific. They were more concerned about percentiles, graphs, and statistics than actually listening to what we had to say when concerns rose up. Appointments started to feel stressful because it seemed as if they were always thinking of the worst case scenario. They were quick to want to treat our children like lab rats and run tests, instead of giving the situation time to settle or improve. When my husband went to appointments alone, I didnt like how they made him feel as if they really didnt want to deal with him because he wasnt the mom. I also didnt like that the doctor suggested that my husband wasnt concerned about our children enough when issues were discussed. They could of asked him how he felt instead of assuming. Appointments also started to get canceled on a consistent basis, and trying to reschedule became a chore. We are now considering leaving and finding another doctor elsewhere.

Angela Green We moved here September and were transfer patients to this office. I absolutely love taking my kids here. Not only us the staff incredibly friendly and the whole place is made just for littles, but the doctors are very attentive and truly care about the kids! We even got a book at the end of our last appointment to bring home! I love to read to my kids so this was such a great treat (the stickers were a nice touch too !) Even though my 4 year old daughter was leaving with two fresh bandaids , she was smiling and thanking the doctors!! I highly recommend this office to care for your babies!!

Laura Chadwick I love this place and Dr. Rainey and his staff. Dr. Rainey was a substitute Dr, when I went to the 18th st clinic. He diagnosed me with a bunch of problems I didnt know I had and brought my health back to where it should have been. I have been with him now for 15yrs. I have never thought of going to any other Dr unless it is an emergency and they are closed.

Zoleeta Myers-West They pick and choose who they want to help and theyre very money hungry for being a "Christian Based Facility". Susana Salinas The attention with the receptionist was very bad. She doesnt like working there. She should look for another job and have someone work there who is kind.

Charly Hamilton I would avoid this clinic at all cost. They have no interest in helping you if youre having a medical emergency. Last October 2022 I came to the clinic asking to be evaluated for a cerebral spinal fluid leak due to having a sinus infection for over two months and not improving. They decided to rinse both my ear and give me a referral to an ent that was almost a month out from seeing new patients. They could have tested for the following in office Testing fluid from the ear or nose for β-2 transferrin since my nose draining continuously but refused to do so. After I got home I could hear the drainage in my ears which I did not hear before they rinsed out my ears. I call the clinic back and told them the drainage is worse and I was told you have to wait for the referral to go through there is nothing we can do for you. I finally had surgery to repair the 2cm while in between my brain and sinus cavity. Moving forward to this October 4 visit I was having pain in my right heel and was asking if they could do something to help with the pain and again was referral that went no where and I had find my own foot specialist to help me. I was told during the October 4 visit are you sure you are not be consistent with the stretches on your foot. Plus I have von willie brands disorder with is clotting disorder and I was told by a hematologist not to take aspirin or advil because it can cause internal bleeding and other harm to me. The doctor at the clinic said are sure you cant take Advil is it really going to hurt you?? Because I have multiple health issues that is why they wanted to do routine blood work to see where my blood count was and my iron levels test they have done a lot because I have problems with anemia. I was told they were only doing routine bloodwork. I was not told or consented to having an HIV or hepatitis C test ran. They call that Friday at 4:45 pm and tell me my HIV tested was reactive then try to smooth it over with you know have bleeding disorder and anemia that could be the reason why it was reactive?? Then they dont understand why I was mad about this I never consented to this test and there was absolutely no reason for it be done in the first place. Im glad I recorded the visit because it was never mentioned or discussed that the hiv or hepatitis C test was gonna be performed. I had these performed against my knowledge. I do not recommend this clinic. They do not care about their patients

Kojin Mercedes Charles is a horrible, horrible doctor. She refuses to listen to her patient’s needs, refuses to prescribe medication, and is just plain useless as a PCD. When asked to dismiss a patient so they can get actual help from someone who cares, she refuses. She is rude, inconsiderate and simply doesn’t care about human life nor about a person’s emotions and pain. Avoid this location, and avoid her as much as you can

Jason D I would encourage anyone referred to this business to get a second opinion, specifically if you are in Thomas Harriss care. He talked my father into chemotherapy by telling him, "he could have more, better days!" Giving him 6 to 9 months without chemo. Harris never really gave the worst-case scenario for the disease, only pie-in-the-sky cases. His example to my father "Ive had a lady on chemo for ten years." Chemotherapy took away any reasonable comfortable time and days my father had left, the decline was drastic, rapid, and shocking, and Harris still pushed chemotherapy when his blood work recovered enough. So many red flags that I ignored, trying to honor my fathers wishes. Dont make the same mistake with your loved one. I could write pages on how bad this experience was; if you care about your loved one, do not mindlessly follow their protocol without a second opinion; also, Harris does not do well with educated family members with questions and valid ideas and observations. Patients and families deserve the truth and should not be used to make a dime. My father lived approximately two months after starting care at Texas Oncology with Thomas Harris and 90% of his days after walking through the doors of this business were terrible. I had to give this business at least one star to leave a review. Two positives here are very kind nurses. Mary is great, and Natalie in the billing office was accommodating and kind.

Tonya Nunn I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Chak and the staff I have had contact with. I went through my initial treatments with them. When I wanted a 2nd opinion at MD Anderson, they worked with me on coordinating care. They did a lot of the treatments in Waco to save me from going to Houston every month and never complained about it coming from MDA. I have now transferred my care from MDA back to Dr. Chak and am very happy to be back with local care.

Moneica Wilkie I would give a 4.9 if I could. Simply because during my Colonoscopy I woke up and could feel pain. I couldnt move or talk. Apparently, the anesthesiologist noticed, and I went back to "sleep"! Other than that? I have had nothing but 100% satisfaction with all staff members. I even told Husband Dr Waddle is my favorite Dr. She speaks to me in laymans words. And most importantly, she listens! She is absolutely adorable. I wish I could see her for all my medical needs! Nate Matlack When I worked for BSW, this was one of out best clinics. It consistently scored higher than the others. I went in today and felt a little sad that they had joined the rest of this oversized organization who has lost sight of the fact that patients should be their priority. I was late for a lab draw, I was relieved to see no one in the waiting room and 2 staff members without patients. Unfortunately the girl at the computer said she already no showed me and Id have to come back tomorrow at 3. I guess other than punishment for being late why I couldnt just have one of the 2 lab techs draw my lab while Im there.

Susan Trumblay I came here because Scott & White Drs. did not take me seriously. I have been losing use of my left leg; whole leg is painful, and little circulation (cold). Now, my right leg is starting the same thing. I am now tripping a lot, and I have fallen 3 times in 2 days! The last 3 Dr. visits they just had someone talk to me. I do not need a friend, I need an intelligent DOCTOR who will listen and take action! This Dr. (Rasalski) had already gotten my records for the last 10 years! He actually set a plan of action to help me!! This leg issue has been going on for a year and up until now no one really did much! You have to take control of your own healthcare. Get 2nd or 3rd opinions, or more, if you need to. I did, and am so glad. The employees here are #1 - try it!

Izzy Perez Sorry excuse for a clinic. I called back to make sure I was choosing the correct coverage. The front office her name starts with a V, got back to me and told me not to get a certain one. I even gave her the options to tell me which one. I am now 2 days from an appointment and they call to tell me I am not covered. I followed all rules to do it the correct way and they just call me to stress me out.

Its Monday now, and after calling thursday and Friday, and being told they would send a message to the provider, nobody has yet to look at my results therefor I have yet to get any antibiotics. EHMEYEI Do not recommend at all. Doctors are friendly but staff is not on same page at all. Do not take time to read or overlook your medical charts they are asking yourself what occurred on prior visits, also seen a new doctor each visit. Front desk staff are rude and very unprofessional. When inquire at front desk for a certain visit be scheduled as requested from doctor I had just seen front desk clerk acted clueless and turned around to ask for “assistance” but began to complain about my request and make derogatory remarks in Spanish as if I wouldn’t be able to understand her. WORSE PLACE TO GO! Switched doctors immediately after this incident.

Stevie Sohns If I could give zero stars I would. The front desk for dental absolutely doesn’t care about who comes to check in, she rather be doing other stuff. When I asked if I could do payment plans after having to already cancel my appointment twice for a ROOT CANAL. They tell me as I go in today that I can pay leading up to that appointment but I can’t pay out the appointment after? Personally, the doctor is very polite but did not handle the issue at hand and I ending up having to go to a different doctor to find out what was wrong. Heart Hospital

Kim Giles On a Friday night in March 2018, as my husband and I were driving across Waco with 20 camper in tow, he complained of his elbow "going numb" and "feeling winded." With a history of heart disease in his family, I wasted no time in having him pull over in a large parking lot, where I proceeded to unhook our camper and fly him across town in 4 minutes flat to Providences ER. I told the desk clerk he was having chest pain, she immediately handed him a clipboard to get his basic info, he was called back within 90 seconds and after having hooking him up to an EKG machine, the nurse knew what was coming and rushed him into a cardiac crash room within 90 seconds. As I stood in the corner of the crash room watching him answer two of their questions, he went out...as in no response. His heart had stopped. They were on him within seconds when a massive "widowmaker" heart attack hit with CPR, defibrillator shocks (9 total as I later learned) and loads of medicine, equipment and cardiac pros. I left the room to make room for others, and waited 35 agonizing minutes before they told me they were able to get his pulse back. He was rushed to the Cath Lab, where two stents were implanted almost immediately, he was then placed in ICU for 36 hours, and two days later, he walked out of the hospital on his own power--sore, but alive. He was a miracle as he exhibited none of the indicators usually seen with massive heart attacks (i.e., obese, unhealthy, poor eater, other diseases, etc...he had none of that), the ER staff did exactly what I knew they were trained to do when we arrived, and every single person we encountered during our stay was incredible. They truly cared about my husband and I, as tales of his "big adventure" of surviving what is usually not survivable made the rounds among staff. They cheered him on throughout our stay, encouraged him as he recovered, and have contacted us several times since just to check on "the miracle man". THATS excellent service, and I cant say enough about how very grateful I am that Providence Health Centers professionals literally saved my husbands life. He is truly a miracle, hes doing very well today, and we owe that to the superb service we received from the Providence crew!

dede drake My husband went to the hospital for chest pain and was told to fill out paper work before he could be seen by a doctor. He has had a heart attack 6 months ago. Felt the same as before. Blood pressure was 185/106 and pulse was 116, when he left the house. He took his Meds and went to the ER. Thank God it wasnt a heart attack. He waited over an hour in the waiting room before they saw him. By the time he got in and they were hooking him up to monitors his Meds kicked in. But if it had been the real deal he feels he wouldve died. They were more concerned about getting paid than they were him.

Cindy Kokel Im rating the ER department here. Went in 99.9% sure I had appendicitis. Doc never did a physical exam to determine if I had classic rebound pain on my right side, which I did. She kept asking about kidney stones. Told her that pain from appendicitis can also radiate to the back. They sent me to CT after sticking me 7 times. IV site immediately infiltrated after CT contrast. Got back to room in ER they took that IV out. My son and I had both repeatedly told the nurses in the ER that they were going to have to use their ultrasound guided IV placement machine and they continued to disregard what we were telling them. They finally bring in the machine and was able to get an 18G IV access into my left upper arm. Also right after getting back from CT the ER doc just pokes her head in and says, "Its your appendix and the OR staff are on their way now to get you..." SHOCKER I had been telling them that from the moment I got there. Had the ER doc actually performed a physical exam she might have discovered that the patient knows their body. I get they have to rule things out but come on, no physical exam! My CT scan showed that there was an extreme amount of infection surrounding my appendix thats why they were rushing me to the OR. Also I did finally get adequate pain control after they saw the CT scan. 7 IV attempts is very excessive. They tell you to speak up and we did right from the start and were ignored by the nurses assigned to me. I was a nurse for over 27 yrs and if I didnt get the IV in after 2 attempts I got another nurse to try. Also if my patient had told me that they have to use an ultrasound guided IV machine I would have believed them the first time. Its also information that can be found in a patients record on file. Had they looked they would have seen that they have had to use this machine in the past. My left arm looks like I have been beat with a bat not to mention opened up areas for possible infection. Nurses and docs too, please listen when a patient actually speaks up. They and their family are trying to tell you something important.

Todd La Pittus This place is disgusting. Entry to the ER is full of garbage, restrooms are like a ghetto gas station- floors full of dried, sticky urine, ER bed smelled like feces. Doctor Palma was fantastic, but I called 2 days after my ER visit because I needed help- nurse who took my call had zero sense of urgency and said somebody would call me back shortly. Of course I never heard anything back and now Im back here for the exact same thing- guess they gotta get paid. Worst ER experience in my life.

Seth Robins As Administrator of Waco Healthcare and Rehabilitation, I would like to thank Oceans Behavioral Hospital for its exceptional service. Behavioral health is a huge need in the Waco area, and Oceans meets that need well. Many of our residents have utilized there in-patient and out-patient services. They are a great partner and an asset to the Waco area.

Ashley Frei Upon entering Oceans I had no idea what to expect. I got to my room at 1:30am. Immediately I was met with help and encouragement. I never felt lost or alone at any time there. My roommate was kind and understanding. The staff IS THE BEST. I’ve worked in facilities as a hospice nurse so I’ve only stepped in and out. To truly see the day after day outpouring of love and support from the staff was mind blowing. They truly love the patients. They keep coming back even after the treatment to them by some patients is hard. They love and care and it shows. The therapies, therapists, nurses, doctors, techs, cleaning staff, dietary, administration, and so much more works like a fine tuned clock and get the needs of patients met in a beautiful way. Patience is not easy in these settings but knowing I was cared for and heard made all the difference in the world. I would give 10 stars if I could. I highly, HIGHLY, recommend Oceans Rehabilitation!

Tracy Irvin Worst place I’ve ever been in my life. Not just that the water smells like swewer, but I was there on a bogus warrant. Er staff aren’t trained to differentiate between psych and medical emergencies. I should not have been there. Not only that. I’m diabetic and didn’t get a shot until day 2, and they never gave me long acting so I went into DKA. I KNOW MY BODY, and I told the two charges I thought I was in DKA. They checked my sugar and said I can’t be in DKA at 277… well I can. She denied my medical help until the lab tech amber came in and saved my life. I threw up at least 20 times. THAT IN ITSELF SHOULD BE A SIGN THAT SOMETHING IS WRONG. HUGE THANKS TO AMBER AND ARON. Also they didn’t give me my things back, and I feel after the anion gap. Of 22 IFEEL LIKE the least that can happen is MAIL ME MY STUFF bc i promise you don’t want me pulling up there

Tatiana Speights 10/10 do not recommend. a handful of MHTs deserve a raise and a better work environment. as for the others, re-train them or fire them? i have never in my life heard any MHT actually get in screaming matches with a patient. especially those with schitzophrenia, bipolar disorder, and severe depression. MHTs would make fun of some patients as well. Lucy, Krystal, Karington, Alexis, Victoria, Shana, and Isaac as MHTs were extravagent and very accomodating. Ive been hospitalized before and this is by far the worst ive been in. The therapists are good. Its the MHTs (some) you cannot trust nor feel safe around. For someone studying Behavioral Sciences, this place is insane. Do not send your loved one here.

Riley Malloy Its been 4 years and I still remember the terrible, terrible experience I had there. I admitted myself voluntarily then got told I couldnt leave. The best advice I got was when a nurse told me to fake having a good attitude and smile at all the BS group activities (including literal coloring pages in the adult unit), so they could let me go. The recent reviews I read confirm what I myself experienced They also messed up my food every single day. I just cant eat pork and they just kept serving it to me. I constantly felt through my whole time there that nobody was taking me seriously about anything. I stayed up late the first night from stress, then they told me that if I didnt take a sleeping pill the rest of my time there, then I would be considered to be noncompliant and they would keep me in longer. I stg, this also happened with a psych med I insisted I didnt want, right after the Dr. divulged my sisters private medical info to me without me asking. I will never, ever visit another inpatient psych ward. This place ruined them for me forever

Ellie McBride Sometimes it can be hard to find a same day appointment, but when you do, it’s super great! The nurses are so nice and the doctor explained everything really well. The pharmacy had my stuff ready 10 minutes after the doctor wrote the script. Definitely the place to go if you can get an appointment

Kaitie P My immune system is fairly weak so I’m here at least twice a semester just because I seem to catch literally EVERYTHING. I’ve had the flu twice and strep multiple times. Only giving four stars because the women at the check in desk can be somewhat cold and unwelcoming. I’ve never had them be plainly rude but sometimes I do feel as if I’m being judged for how often I’m there, which I already feel very self-conscious about. However, the doctors have always been very nice. The two I have seen have always seemed genuinely concerned for my well-being. The fact that everything is charged to your student account is also helpful if you’re broke.

Chris Spendlove The medical staff is friendly and helpful, but man… The receptionist is just difficult to work with. She is abrupt bordering on rude. She will say things like “we don’t bill Medicaid” without any further explanation and when you ask for an explanation she seems burdened and answers in a condescending manner. It was loud in the rec center so I asked her to repeat something and she talked to me like I was five. I understand she probably has to deal with whiny and grumpy undergrads all day, but both times I’ve interacted with her it seemed like she almost went out of her way to be disagreeable.

Lexi Went in knowing I had a UTI and needed the prescription for the medicine. The doctor that treated me told me I didn’t have a UTI, but gave me a 7 day antibiotic at my insistence. Later was emailed saying I should come in for more testing, as she insisted I probably had chlamydia because it was something she “saw often on campus.” My partner and I were both clean and we knew that. I refused to come in and went to the ER instead, after noticing my symptoms had not cleared up. They confirmed I had a UTI and were surprised I had been given a 7 day treatment, and said I should be put on a 10 day treatment at MINIMUM. Disappointing service.

James Gray Disappointing. Zero availability for appointments whenever I call. Booking online is essentially a lie because they redirect you back to the phone number to call. The doctors and other providers are good, we just need more of them. It does not seem like good public health management to have people make a mad dash for the first appointments available each morning/evening. If you are sick, expect days before you get seen.
