Allison K What a wonderful experience here. Our vet was non judgmental about what we feed our dog, our vaccine schedule and natural alternatives that we use for flea and tick control. They didn’t push products on us or make me feel guilty that I don’t use them. She was great with my dog who is very shy. She explained everything to me in great detail and answered my questions thoroughly. I didn’t leave there confused about next steps. I agreed with her recommendations and I know my dog will be in great hands when she has surgery. Also, they are very reasonably priced. I’ll be bringing all 3 of my pets here moving forward.

Dr. Rodenbeck has been a godsend and saved one of my dogs from many problems that he has been saddled with through no-fault of his own. Dr. Rodenbeck is a skilled surgeon and has completed successful surgeries on two of my dogs that I would have never trusted anybody else with. The clinic is run by caring and compassionate people that I enjoy seeing every time I take my dogs there. I have been looking for veterinary clinics over the last 16 years that I have been a dog owner and Kendall County Veterinary Center is by far one of the BEST! I highly recommend Kendall County Veterinary Center to anyone who wants excellent care for their dogs.

Mary Priest Welcoming Waiting Room Very Friendly and Helpful Front Desk Staff Waiting time is never a problem and if you do have to wait a little extra it’s only because Dr. Stahl and his staff are doing their job and giving full medical attention to each patient some may be worse than others. The nurses are very professional Dr. Stahl is my primary doctor, he’s very knowledgeable and professional and caring about your health not only as a patient but as a human being. When I can’t see Dr. Stahl if he’s booked, Dr. Stahl has a very great Physician Assistant PA-C Greg MCcrum my health was very important to him when I had to see him. And I had immediate care. I would also like to say I take Health Care very seriously for my family and myself. I searched the San Antonio area and Boerne area and did lots of research on every level of care until I found Dr. Stahl and the Boerne Family Medicine Facility. After my family’s first initial visit and every visit since, my family and I knew we were in good hands and that’s truly what it comes down to. A doctor who listens and is very knowledgeable and professional and caring and a doctor who doesn’t just guess what is wrong, but a doctor who actually finds the answers and gives you a plan to recovery and a better healthier life. My personal opinion, Finding good care is getting harder to find. This is why my family and I are very happy and very grateful to have found Dr. Stahl and The Boerne Family Medicine Facility. robin ann dominguez Ive been a patient of Dr Stahl for many years, and it would be hard to find a better primary care practice. The office: His staff is always friendly and helpful, both in the office and over the phone. The patient portal is the best of any portal Ive used. Whether Im requesting a refill or have a medical question, I get a quick response. The nurses are excellent, but they are more than that - theyre cheerful and never appear to be under pressure. From my own experience, I ]attribute that to good leadership. Dr. Stahl: Dr. Stahl provides gentle, compassionate care. Above all else, I appreciate that he listens well. He does not start to exam me until I have finished talking about my concerns. Also, he doesnt order procedures. If he recommends a treatment or diagnostic test, he explains why it is necessary and obtains my consent, demonstrating that he understands and respects that patients have a say in their care. Dr Stahls focus is patient-centered care. I once mentioned a minor concern near the end of the visit, which I wouldnt have brought up if I had sensed he was in a hurry to move on to his next patient. It turned out to be more significant than I had realized, and he took time to discuss it with me. PAs: no experience with them Lab: They just recently started having blood draws available in-office. Ive had only one draw so far, so Im rating that separately - 3 stars at best. I have a big, prominent vein inside my left elbow that pops out when you put a tourniquet on me. Im not squeamish about needles or blood, so I dont move. Still, somehow the phlebotomist missed the vein and left an ugly bruise. CONS: It can be hard to get an appointment with Dr. Stahl; sometimes hes booked several months in advance.

We have had major child & now adolescent health issues and he has walked us through the constant changes and difficulties for 7 years. HUGE help across the board including a compassionate spirit. Christina Cheney Dr Gayten is very friendly and knowledgeable. Staff is great. They take bloodwork without having to go to a separate lab. (Have had blood taken twice and it didn’t even hurt). Can’t say enough so happy with this office.

Brianne Pulis Made an apt to establish myself as a patient. It was 3-4 months wait time which was absolutely fine. With work and kids I could only make apt work in the afternoon so 2pm worked well with my familys schedule. I thought it was odd leading up to the apt that I never got a confirmation. Never an invite to a patient portal. Never any paperwork for insurance, although they did require all that info upon scheduling. Day of the apt I called to confirm my apt. No answer. I left a message. Called a few hours later - voicemail box was full. Called again, voicemail box was full. About 2.5 hours before my apt I get a call from someone saying their phones have been down for two days and my apt was at 9 am. She went on to say, "shes not saying its my fault but there was a "miscommunication"". I dont know what really happened with their phones but apparently their email and or cells dont work either? I cannot rate the doctor but youre really only as good as your front desk. I wont be rescheduling.

Aryamah Zargar During my first visit, Dr. Gaytan’s assistant asked me the reason I came in. She left the room and loudly explained my concern to Dr. Gaytan. I was able to hear the entire conversation through closed doors, which made me concerned about other personnel and patients at the office hearing it as well. When I expressed this to Dr. Gaytan, she apologized and said “the walls are thin”. If the staff is aware of the wall thickness, why are they being careless with patient information? Why is my personal information being blasted through the office? This is definitely a HIPAA violation! On my second visit, I needed Dr. Gaytan to sign an immunization record for my university. However, her inability to fill the form completely and efficiently cost me $150 dollars (late fee and extra lab fee) from the university. No apologies from the doctor or compensation were made, even though I let them know there was a time limit of when I needed to submit the application. They also did not give me a call or send an email, which was how they said my results would be sent. I had to go in person to get them. On my last visit, I received a phone call in the middle of the appointment and explained to Dr. Gaytan that I needed to take the call since it was very important, and I meant no disrespect. When Dr. Gaytan came back into the room after my phone call, she was visibly irritated despite there being very few patients at the office. She then proceeded to interrupt me multiple times and practically pushed me out the door! I felt disrespected. Even though Dr. Gaytan seems knowledgeable in her field, she made me feel uncomfortable, and I will not be seeing her again. I will say though, the receptionist and doctor’s assistant were always nice and helpful.

Tim Barber My previous Dermatologist retired requiring me to find a new Doctor. I always look at the reviews to get a wider view of other patients experience. My experience with Dr DeSilva and his staff was very consistent to what I read. Dr DeSilva was very thorough in his examination asking many questions on past skin conditions. Prior to my first appointment I had my medical records transferred to his office. He told me he would review those and get back to me. Of course I was thinking weeks vs days. Within a couple of days he called me telling me the was one file missing on a previous procedure. He told me that he requested the file and suggested I do the same. I am happy with my choice with my new doctor. If you are in need of a Dermatologist, I would highly recommend you give Dr DeSilva a call.

Mary Reynolds Dr. Konopacki is very attentive and available to his patients. He has taken great care of me, and I have serious, chronic health issues. Hes an excellent doctor and really knows his stuff. My only problem is the corporate, bureaucratic system that he works for. Those people are the ones, it seems, who handle most of the phone contacting and reminders. The staff IN the office are great.

Lilia Victoria Since 2004, we have been consistently with Health Texas Wurzbach for our health and medical needs/concerns. We are greatly blessed to be the recipients of the professional expertise and excellent care of Dr. Ana Calderon, NP Stephanie Garza, and PA Trinity Williams and the rest of the attending physicians. Their rapport with their patients is also amazing. We are likewise grateful to the medical support staff and the receptionists/clerks who are all very friendly and courteous.

Nicole McLeod Today, I arrived at my 8:20 am appointment with Trinity Williams, only to be told I couldn’t be seen because I hadn’t arrived 15 minutes early. If the clinic requires patients to arrive early, why not schedule the appointment at 8:05 instead of 8:20? It’s confusing and illogical to list an appointment time that isn’t actually honored. To add to the frustration, the medical assistant came to the front to call me back, but the receptionist intervened, stating that Trinity Williams had declined to see me. Overall, this felt unnecessarily dismissive and poorly handled. Making matters worse, I was rescheduled for another appointment in Helotes with someone who isn’t trained in administering injections—a service I specifically need, and I told this to the receptionist. While I deeply appreciate the exceptional care I’ve received from Stephanie Garza and Dr. James Walter, I will not be booking with Trinity Williams in the future. Compassion and empathy matter to me, and this experience felt more like “business as usual” than patient-centered care.

Nancy Phommyvong If you choose this PCP, just ensure that you ask them about the lab work they’ll be running prior to leaving. I went in for a woman’s health exam, and left with a $182 lab work fee from Labcorp, on something I didn’t request. I tried disputing it, but they ended up saying it was all correct on their end. I had never been to a place where doctors ordered lab work at their own discretion without patient approval. I was calling around for over a month, trying to get coding on the lab work, an explanation etc. they never called back, I had to follow up myself. I requested a message through my portal, since our schedules didn’t coordinate due to my job, and I never received anything. I ended up messaging myself, still no reply. After all this time, with no solution, I had to pay to avoid collections. At minimum, a good explanation of why the lab work was done would’ve been nice, I mean it was a pretty penny, but I couldn’t even get that. You’re better off waiting a couple months for a good PCP facility/staff.

S E I got turned away today from my appointment for being 6 minutes early instead of 15. Im not a new client and have always been on time and never turned away. They started a new policy where you have to be exactly 15 minutes early or you will be rescheduled. This is ridiculous and they still should have let me get to my appointment. I will never go back, but Dr. K was awesome and I do think he is a wonderful doctor. I didnt deserve to be turned away. Im pregnant and needed care. They could have let me be seen just today as Ive never been late. They didnt have to turn me away. Health Texas your reviews are going downward. You need to read them and actually address the problem as Im sure more people will be giving bad reviews because of this.

Betty Friar I was in Cibolo Creek for two weeks in 2021 after knee surgery. My care was great. Back again in 2022 after another knee surgery replacement. Care was good and therapy with Kim and Vanessa was great. Staff was always concerned about my care. In 2024 returned again with my husband who was cared for after leg amputation. His care and therapy was great and he loved playing dominoes, bingo and attending the music presentations that were offered. His nurses were very attentive. We both were very pleased with our care!

Janice Winston My mother was in Cibolo Creek as a long term resident. She was there for over 10 years and I cannot say enough about the care my mom received. The staff was very sweet and concerned for my mom. I was always kept up to date on what treatments she had what medications she took. Unlike some reviews I read I did not smell urine all the time. Sure if someone was being changed and I happened to walk by. But I rarely smelled anything. That stuff happens anywhere. My mother’s room was always clean my mom was always clean her hair was washed and brushed. Linda Lee the activity director was exceptional in keeping up with the activities for the residents. They were always doing something. She was great in getting my mom up and out to play chicken foot dominoes, music, bingo and holiday activities. Physical therapy was great too helping to get my mom in and out of a car when I took her out. The nurses were awesome in her care as well. Always communicating with me about her care since I lived in Florida. I had considered moving my mother out to another facility near me in Florida and decided against it because I felt her care at Cibolo Creek was the best I had found. I have a friend who would drop in for a visits and the facility was always clean as well. I will be forever grateful to the Cibolo staff for taking such great care of my mom.

From the cleanliness of the facility to the friendly and caring staff, the food, the whole experience is an A+ experience. Natalie Tyrrell At my appointment 7 months ago the doctor ordered an MRI. She said they’d call to schedule. No one ever called and I forgot about it. Fast forward 6 months and I then had my next appointment. They said they’d call to schedule the MRI. Almost month later, no call. This time I called and they said they are “a little behind.” I told her about my family history and the issue last time and how urgent this is. The woman on the phone seemed unconcerned. I have a high likelihood of getting breast cancer which is why I’m going to this cancer specialist in the first place. My OBGYN said I should be screened every 6 months. It has now been over a year. I will be switching to another doctor who takes my life and my care more seriously. I mean no harm in this review. I truly hope it is seen and has a positive impact because I can’t be the only one. If you need more staff to take care of your patients, then hire more staff. People’s lives are on the line here.

I’ve went a couple times first my son was 3 months the told me he had an enlarged heart… yeah always check with you pediatrician for sure… he’s fine and healthy… and then now knowing he has Covid a temp of 103.6 before I got there… not one time did they check him temp… going in and out of it where I had talk to him to keep him awake… all the did was check his Bp and O2 I had that in my pocket… didn’t think to drab the thermometer when you rushing out the door… so I left there place waiting over 2 hrs while your son is struggling… I’ll call 911 next time

Robert Martinez Our nurse was horrible. I waited with my young daughter in the exam room for over an hour without anyone even checking on us. The air conditioning was broken and according to the nurse had been that way for over a week and nothing has been done. We were not even offered a glass of water to help cool off while we were waiting. There is a lot of opportunity for improvement at this location.

R Miller I came here yesterday having severe chest pain. The doctor and nurses immediately got me in, took my pain from a 10 to a 0, did all kinds of tests, and reassured me throughout the whole process. I was very scared, but they took care of me extremely fast and did a thorough job. They even brought me a warm blanket! Thank you so much for everyone who helped me. ❤️

Jill DeBarros I went to a doctors appointment inside the building. I found parking easy and close to the entrance. The building was clean and looked nice. I easily found what floor my doctor was on and found the elevators. When leaving my doctors office I did get turned around and couldnt find the elevators, but thats probably because I was at my appointment for so long.

Akansha K had a disappointing experience at this office. Despite arriving 10 minutes early for our appointment, the front desk informed us of a “no-show fee” that we had no prior knowledge of. When we expressed our concerns and declined to pay, the staff stated they would check with the doctor about proceeding with the appointment. Ultimately, we were told the doctor chose not to see us, which was frustrating given that we were on time. This experience left me feeling that patient care was not the priority. Clear communication and transparency about policies would have been helpful. I hope they take steps to improve their approach to patient interactions. I wouldn’t advise anyone to go this doctor.

Dr. Varma truly listens to you and takes the time to give the very best, educated knowledge to assist with your concerns. Her staff is also very courteous and professional. It is so nice to feel welcome and know that I am in the best of hands with an exceptional doctor.

Lindsay Diaz Dr. Varma attempted to commit insurance fraud by overcharging me for a prescription when she never prescribed me any medication (nor was I seeing her for this purpose). When I asked her office why I was being charged $50, they quickly corrected it which is a huge red flag. So you were going to take my money had I not said anything? Shameful and a disgrace to medicine.

Jane Goles I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Varma. She takes the time to really understand my needs and then take appropriate action. I feel that she is my strong advocate when it comes to my medical health.

Piyoosh Jaysaval Today, I had a scheduled appointment with Dr. Archna Varma at 1:00 PM. I arrived at her office at 12:52 PM, well ahead of my scheduled time. The front desk initially seemed ready to check me in, but then abruptly paused and said they needed to ask the doctor if she would see me. A few minutes later, I was informed that Dr. Varma refused to see me because I had not arrived 15 minutes before the appointment, despite the fact that I was 8 minutes early. At first, I assumed this was just a miscommunication with the front desk, but after speaking with the assistant manager, it became clear that this decision was made by Dr. Varma herself. This kind of behavior is highly unprofessional and disrespectful to patients who take the time and effort to be punctual for their appointments. I will be formally filing a complaint regarding this matter.

je tu I am so so pissed at this medical facility. I was referred from UT Health Medical Center this UT Health Hill Country around July 16, 2024 for a specialty appt 7 MONTHS away since this was the only opening they had. I called several times every couple months to see if anything sooner was open. NO TIME did they ask me for a new VA referral until 3 days BEFORE the appt and 2 of those days was the weekend. SO now I will have to wait till the VA gets the request from the UT Health so they can do the referral request. VA takes a while to do the request and with government employees being fired I will be blind before I can get some help. THANKS UT HEALTH HILL COUNTRY.

Ava Pumphrey To be quite honest I have put off making a review. Dr. Reyes and her team are so incredible I didn’t want my review to inspire others to go see them. They are all incredible people, from the lovely ladies at the front desk to the nurses who walk you in. They listen and care and remember you. In such a big city it’s difficult to find people who care so deeply. If I ever move even out of state I will willingly come out here to see them they are that good. Every person that I have met in this office has made my day better. They all remember my name and greet me with a big authentic smile. Every person in this office deserves at minimum a billion dollars a year.

Justin Moreno I was scared at first because I saw so many negative reviews here on their Google Maps page. I visited this location for the first time recently for a non life-threatening issue. I only had to wait a couple of minutes even with a good amount of people waiting in the lobby. The nurse/assistant and the PA that took care of me were very attentive of my healthcare needs. I was surprised that I was able to book an appointment the same day, get seen by a PA, and even get treated on-site in the same building, same appointment!

Christopher Altermatt Everyone I’ve encountered at UT Hill Country has been friendly and helpful. The medical practitioners have all been excellent. The UT MyChart app is also very functional and easy to use.

Lawton Regan I went to UT Health and asked for work limitations note from the Doctors for a condition I am recieving treatment for. I tranferred my medical records and asked for a simple Doctors Note as I continue my treatment.H e did give me a note but it was just progress notes of the visit, which was fustrating and not what I asked for. Dr. John Paredes failed to listen to my request and needs and brushed me off to another Doctor. Additionally, UT Health office called me and requested I come in an hour early from my scheduled appointment. I accommodated their request and they asked me to bring my documents. However, when I asked for some basic things to be reviewed the Doctor was reluctant to even review my chart or talk to me and just stated I cant help you. I will refer you. My view is what is the point of being a Doctor if you cant even help your patient. It felt like he had something more important and he was trying to rush me out rather than listening to my needs. This is concerning because for a patient you should listen to them rather than brush them off. At the end of the day, UT Health is business and they underperformed at this visit which made me lose my confidence. Lastly, this was a complete waist of my time and money and its fustrating that he has that behavior towards his patients. I have lost my trust and confidence in UT Health and will never return to this facility. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

Oblivious ARK Nurses don’t care. More interested in telling each other jokes and talking about their days. They put a blood pressure cuff, that was to small, on me and left several bruises. Would not recommend anyone going here. Not a very good practice.
