Ann Phillips I had a 3:00 appointment. At 3:30 l go to the desk and ask if they had forgotten me. The lady looked perplexed and looked at her computer and said she would have to reschedule me. They had never called my name and apparently the doctor had already gone home. It had taken a month to get the appointment. I would never recommend this doctor or this office. I would not give them one star.

Debra Best doctor Ive ever had. Caring, professional, knowledgeable, gives you as much time as you need, listens carefully and patiently. I drive 2 1/2 hours for my appointments with him. Definitely worth the drive.

We knew we might be challenged in finding medical care (and other health care such as dental and optical) that worked with our needs but found Dr. Coker and are VERY happy! She was interested, highly competent, answered my questions and got me on an immediate path to address a couple of immediate issues for me. I highly recommend Dr. Coker and her staff, including MA Anjelica.

Anna Robertson Dr. Coker is very knowledgable and thorough. She listens to your concerns and takes necessary actions to get to the bottom of your issues. I always feel very at ease with her and she has a very friendly demeanor. She is a straight shooter and will “tell it like it is”.

Ledesma Brenda Dr. Coker is an awesome Doctor. She takes time with her patients and learns their history and concerns and how other factors affect their health. She has served our family for many years and I recommend her and the staff at Christus Athens. 12/1/24 I will add that a recent recommendation and referral saved my life! Dr. Coker has always been alert to her patients needs and acts on them. Im very grateful!

Shawnna Cooley Athens Animal Clinic is amazing! They waited for me to drive 30 minutes away so my son and I could be there with the rest of our family to say goodbye to our Benny and they made us a paw print keepsake. I won’t take my fur babies anywhere else. These people are just wonderful!

Robster492 The best clinic in town. Dr. Terry, Dr. Barlow, and Dr. Dingler are very knowledgeable, and they truly care about your animals, which is rare these days. I have used this clinic since they opened several years ago. They have helped care for our animals and gotten us through some rough times without taking advantage financially. I would definitely consider them one of the more affordable clinics in the area. We take our pet care very seriously and have lived out of state for a couple of years. Id rather drive to Athens to seek advice from these ladies than deal with another vet.

They took my appt request same day, were prompt to check me in, to see the vet, and to check out. Rachel Mosler First I would like to say thank you for making this office feel like home! I bring all our animals here now all due to the love they have given to our animals (babies) as well as us. The bed side manner is one I have never had before, we have many rescues do to being dumped on our land, and we have not had this kind of treatment anywhere but, here❤️ They know each one’s name( not just with me everyone I see walk in). The way they treat our babies is quite literally like it’s their own. They have even walked around, holding my little one ( he is a small Chihuahua )while we waited, he loved that! I can not put in words the love we feel here! On one of the hardest days of our lives the staff and Doctor took the time to comfort us and even sat in silence with us just incase we needed them we were stunned at the love and time they gave us, even saying no rush what ever you need, then bringing us water and tissues making sure we were ok and offering a paw print and hair clippings in a beautiful little jar each decorated with personal touches on them! ( We are not the only ones everyone is treated this way). A couple days went by and we received a card from them all signed by each staff member and Doctors, not just signed but messages from each one❤️ I have know idea how we could ever repay Athens animal clinic for the love they give but, I pray God blesses them for all they do for each family! I do not leave reviews but, when you find a place like this you don’t keep it for yourself you must share the good news to anyone who will listen❤️ Thank you Athens animal clinic you are truly a shining light in a dark world!

sandra Landry Dr. Eckert has been my doctor for over ten years. She is genuine, interested, and very knowledgeable. I am grateful to have her and her expertise.

Jan Childs Dr. Eckerts bedside manner, compassion, and attention to detail is very rare. Almost obsolete in 2024. Although her schedule is typically booked months out, Dr. Eckerts team will do their best to fit you in for urgent , non emergency medical issues. The facility is convenient as I live nearby, but I would follow Dr. Eckerts care even if she moved outside of the Christus Health care umbrella.

Jeanette Hill Dr Eckert is the best doctor I have ever had. She always addresses my concerns, gives excellent advice and provides the best care. I know she is there for me and has my best health as her goal. The entire staff is excellent.

Malore Draper Brittany C was very tentative and concerned. She kept coming to check on me even it was just poking her head in. She was very concerned of how pale I was and if she asked if I was ok and I told her I was she could see through me, she could see how bad I felt. Even though all my test came back negative Dr.C was ABSOLUTELY NOT LETTING ME LEAVE. My fever kept going up. She started some Iv fluids and over the next few hours Dr C and Brittney just watched over me. My fever came down. I looked better to their comfort from when I first come in and they even said I sound better to when I first came in. Hey and Dr C gave me the ok to leave. Of course Dr C called in antibiotics and some other medication for me!! I could not have been treated and cared enough for in an urgent care.

A V After experiencing a rash with itching for 4+ days, I chose to go to Total point Urgent Care. I also had a cough, but after being dismissed (3 weeks earlier), by Christus Trinity Health ER with no help from them, I thought nothing could be done for my hacking cough. NP from Total Point helped she prescribe medications for that cough. She also gave me a steroid shot for the rash & itching. The itching is gone & I am coughing much less!!! NP Rosa took very good care of me. The front desk receptionist is kind. Thank you Total Point Urgent Care - Athens

Robertson Ronald “Throge57” Weve got dogs and they have issues just like their hoomans have. We have one that goes in every 8-10 days to be cleaned-out, so to speak. We cant say enuff about the team they have over there !! They are friendly, polite, professional and very knowledgeable too !! Ill never have a problem taking my fur-babies over there for a visit to HCVS !!!

Dalverto Franco First time there for my registered dog having gut problems. Dr. prescribed a medication to control the problems she had. A very good experience with the doctor and staff. Took my girl to Athens Hospital and was diagnosed with a small intestine being damaged. Surgery went well, and I am waiting for more post pardom results. I cant down this doctor for trying his best when a second opinion always counts elsewhere.

Roosevelt Geeslin Jr They did an amazing job on my dog when he was attacked by a pack of dogs. They were hurt worse, he is a German shepherd Rottweiler mix they were less than 40lbs each and a pack of 4.

Jennifer Holly I took my daughter in for a stomach virus and was extremely pleased with the front and back staff. From the moment we checked in we were greeted with both professionalism and promptness. The MA that roomed us (Paige) was beyond what I could have asked for with a kid who was extremely dehydrated. Very skilled in her job performance and her ability to explain what was about to happen eased the situation for a teenager. The provider was very thorough and comforting for myself and daughter. He was in and out of the room allowing us to get her taken care of promptly and exceptionally. I would definitely recommend taking your family here! Barbara Tompkins The help I received at Integrity Urgent Care was top of the line. After examining my eye it was determined that I needed to see an eye specialist for further treatment. Dr. Griffin was able to get me an appointment the same afternoon which was greatly appreciated. We have used Integrity several times over the past few years and highly recommend them.

Marisol Elias I like the fact that I can make an appointment online and I am able to do all the paperwork before I get there. Our wait is never long considering it being an urgent care. Everyone there is very professional and nice. I’ve took my kids here for a sport physical to them having the flu. Always treated promptly and with care.

Robert Unfortunately I had an accident in my wood shop that called for a trip to Integrity Urgent Care. I can’t say enough about the care I received from the staff. It started at the receptionist and ended with the medical staff. Super friendly and eager to tend to my needs. Me La Vu Dr. Tai was great to talk to and answered all our questions during our first visit. The staff seemed friendly from booking, to lab, and to front desk. It was quite a wait to get an appointment. Took us about a month or more to get a consult so make sure you book in advance. The office is quite dated but seemed clean. Limited parking at the front of the building where the office is closest but more parking at the back where the office would be abit more of a walk.

Cindy Mohat Dr. Tai is attentive and interested in details. That is important in dealing with cancer. He listens and always has an explanation and offers his advice.

Jana Fulfer Goes over all procedures with me that I have had for my visit. Does not talk down to me like I am stupid. His attitude is great for have seeing people not feeling good most of the day.

Maribel Ramirez This place is the best. In the past 3 months they have been nothing but awesome. The doctors and techs that Ive encountered were so kind and understanding. I had to say goodbye to my dog Bella on 1/16/25 and Dr. Clay was very thoughtful in the process. Dr. McAlister was also a blessing in Bellas journey. I highly recommend this place. They really do care about their patients. I wish I didnt live far from this place but it is definitely worth the drive!

Erin Mitchell My OB doctor was amazing and I would 110% recommend her and this place to anyone. Dr Davis is kind and caring and she listens. She delivered my baby with no problems and followed up with me quickly. Im so happy I chose her to be my doctor. If it wasnt for her I dont know if I would have successfully delivered my handsome son. The staff here is kind and accommodating once you get to know them. And the food here is actually really good for being hospital food.

Stout Amber (Bam Stout) We live Dr. Mettetal. Hes been our doctor for almost four years and delivered two of my babies. Hes very honest with me yet very caring, respects my options and wishes, and has always been able to see us as needed. Ive never had a better doctor and Ive always had great dealings with all staff, nurses, reception, labs.

Sandra Wernsing I have had Dr. Mettetal for 12 years ever since I moved here, I love him. He has always treated me with respect and answers all my Questions. Is honest, I have cerebral Palsy and has listened to me every time, I have talked to him.

Jon Edwards Dr Mettetal is excellent. He has treated every member of my family, delivered all five of my wifes children, and even treated family members in the hospital. It is sad to see people rating Doctor Mettetal down because of problems they see with his office or staff. This is dishonest and shortsighted in my opinion, and does not do justice to a good physician. Hes an excellent clinician with years worth of knowledge experience and wisdom. He is very easy to get along with and communicates well with patients. Like any doctor who is better than average, he is very busy and hard to get in with If anything thats a measure of how good he is, rather than What some of the reviews trying to say. I highly recommend him!

Kodi Carter ⚠️WORST DR. IVE EVER ENCOUNTERED! ⚠️ I cannot begin to tell you where he went wrong! This person treated me less than human while I was pregnant with my first child in 2009. I cannot believe he still has a license to practice!!! His bedside manner is horrific at best. He always chastised me for anything I did. When I had questions or concerns about my own body, he brushed them off. Or when I ended up in an ER over the weekend for severe vomiting for x2 days & inability to eat/ hold fluids, he LITERALLY chastised me for going to the ER and "wasting their time". I had gravidarum hyperemesis, and HE never diagnosed that. I had to leave that doctors office completely to get away from him! He is a monster and shouldnt be allowed to practice medicine, ESPECIALLY OBGYN!!! There are several others who had similar experiences. I only leave 1 star because I HAVE NO CHOICE or else its would be 0!!!!

Shanygne Gullickson Dr. Eldore delivered my last 3 children, one of whom I had to say goodbye to as soon as she was born. Today, my son turns 16, and as I think about his entry into the world, I swell w joy that Dr. Eldore and his staff were there for me. It was a beautiful experience, and I constantly felt cared for, as if I was his only patient. Even when we lost our daughter, his concern was pure, his care complete. His encouragement in our loss was such a blessing. I am forever thankful to have had him as my doctor during those years.

Sandra Hopkins I like how they dont overbook. The lobby is quiet, clean & very few people waiting. Ive never actually seen Dr Elder, but we have seen the nurse practitioner. She is super sweet, smart & informative. I think Dr Elder mainly revolves around pregnancy visits & we just havent need him. Ive only heard nice things about him though. They also have almost everything at this office. They do lab work, financing options & a whole bunch of specialty treatments like biotin. I think they may even offer some services to men- but Im not certain. Just seems like the place you can get anything you need as a women. If I had to pick my favorite thing about this office - it would definitely be the office atmosphere itself. Its terrible to walk in to an overcrowded waiting room & spend the day waiting for a obgyn. I know when I get here we will be in & out in a matter of minutes. Its nice quiet & discreet. The employees that work there are professional. That is my 2nd favorite. * There were 2 young women there when I got my blood drawn. It was fairly obvious that they were less experienced. They were also great. They were having trouble, so they asked for a more experienced lady to draw my blood. Nothing wrong with that. I think they were disappointed, but I WASNT. They were still very professional and did exactly what they should have done. Im sure thier skills will improve quickly. The more experienced woman was a ROCK STAR. She was in and out like she had been drawing blood for years.. Great professional manor to go with her work.

Marci Adams What should have been a 2-3 day hospital stay ended up taking my dad’s life! Dr. William Elfarr damaged my dad’s pancreas as well as his diaphragm while doing a nephrectomy. After spending 2 weeks in ICU at UT Athens which I would not take my dog to after the experience we had he ended up being transferred to UT Tyler where he ended up passing away from multiple complications due to Dr. Elfarr! I can’t stress enough do not send your loved ones to this doctor!!!!

aleta livingston Have been seeing Dr. Elfarr several months and have gotten no relieve. It all started about 3 years ago with random feeling like a UTI put is all ways negative. Not an all the time thing which I told them that. Have left several messages on My Chart and still no reply. It would be nice if he does not know what is causing the problem just say so dont keep giving pills or creams(pharmacy cant fill) some BS answer which is not what is causing the issue. Notes that he leaves is not even correct.

Eva Wright I was more than ready to be released but I felt I was being rushed.i did not have but one lung X-ray.I had a monitor for oxygen and found out I needed to be on oxygen.Was not a pleasant experience

stephanie Thompson My husband needed to see a urologist and was a little nervous. Dr Elfarr was kind,compassionate and very patient. The office had everything in place for the Dr to review. Easy and informative. Very thankful we have him in our small east texas town.

steve long After 8 years as Dr Elfars patient I called his office and told them I couldnt pee, they told me to take 2 flow max a day and see him in a month. 2 weeks later i ended up in the Hospital on dialysis in renal failure with a blocked prostate near death. A month later he performed a TURP on me and said i would never have a problem with my prostate again. 3 years later he used a camera to see that my prostate was just fine, a month later I ended up in the ICU for 9 days with a blocked prostate in renal failure on dialysis near death because the prostate had grown back. I had a second TURP performed by a different Urologist recently however my chronic kidney disease is still a serious issue and its possible i will have to live out my life on dialysis.

Katie Renberg The doctor literally prescribed me a steroid for my face that caused a whole new condition, when I told her what I thought I had, she brushed it off. I went to a specialist, and had what I told her I thought I had. You know what it’s caused by? Steroid use on the face. Also every single time I went I waited at least a full hour to be seen in the doctor’s room. Needless to say, I switched doctors.

Tracy Daugherty Had an urgent referral sent to Dr Garcia office it was received. I went to my first visit and was told I needed a ct done along with another test. That appointment was scheduled for four weeks later. I arrived for my appointment and was told I would have to have my ct done across the street at the hospital and to give them an hour to arrange it. After an hour I was told to give them till that afternoon, then told to give them till the next morning and days later I have yet to hear back from anyone. Being a new patient this is bad business. Not impressed by the front desk help at all!!

Laura Ballard I was scheduled for surgery on a Monday; Garcias office called me on the Friday before and said they cancelled by surgery. They refuse to use the correct coding on the hospital stay - apparently the code they want to use will get them more money than the one they should actually use. I did my research...it is not an insurance issue - it is their refusal to use the correct code. Im the one that suffers - I have to start all over with a new doctor. Very Disheartening.

Loree Scott Zach who works with Dr. Garcia makes all the difference! Zach went above and beyond for my dad, who is a disabled Veteran. When I had questions or needed additional help or approvals, Zach was one that had it all under control. He made me feel confident I was in the right place for treatment for my dad. Because of Zach, I had a great experience seeing Dr. Garcia. Zach is way over qualified for this position and I am thankful he is using his talents here.

Vel Williamson Dr. Garcia is a patient and kind physician that listens to all your symptoms before making a decision as to a treatment plan. His staff is highly personable and remember not only your name but your specific ailments and past treatments. I highly recommend Dr. Ruben Garcia and his whole staff.

Summer Hambleton Dr. Johnson is horrible, really question his credentials. My 72 year old mother had fell in October 2017 and had a lot of pain since. Dr Johnson finally did a CT scan, which she was told showed no injury, so she was then told she is a Dr. Shipper, she has been going to Dr. Johnson for years! She went to the ER last night and they did another CT scan which showed a Compression Fracture in her Veterbra. Why after months pain did not go away and is probably now worse. She needs surgery. Disgusted with the neglect of Dr. Johnson, state will hear about this! Avoid this inadequate Dr!

Xena Tucker My mom could’ve DIED because of this place, constantly she was always disregarded and told she was completely fine. They shot down all her questions and told her nothings wrong with her when there were obvious signs she wasn’t fine. They ignored her high blood pressure multiple times and i’m done with this place. my mom could’ve died, she had to go to a different doctor in Tyler to get any ounce of help (she has chronic kidney disease stage 3 that they refused to diagnose her with) thanks so much for helping her, not... Dr. Johnson should not be a doctor.

Athens TCP Took an application along with all necessary paperwork then was told I would be seen on a certain date and that everything was good. Received a phone call a week later with information that had nothing to do with the reason I applied and the administrator said they would not be able to help me any longer . I have received services before and never had this problem especially from an administrator
