Mel Boyd Excellent experience. Dr. Parrent was extremely knowledgeable concerning my options for surgery. Made me feel at ease prior to and afterwards as well. Surgery was exactly as he described and now two weeks out, I’m well on the way to a full recovery and back to playing tennis sooner than I had hoped. I appreciate his patience in answering all of my questions and his office staff were very pleasant, too. Will gladly recommend him.
5 /5
Amanda Burger I highly recommend Dr. Parrent. Excellent bedside manner. He took his time to explain both of my surgeries and comfort me with my diagnosis. I have never had a doctor like him!
5 /5
Gemma Hughbanks Dr. Parrent performed my port surgery and everything went well and I had no problems with the port or surgery site at any time, and I had no problems when he did the port removal. He has a great bedside manner and I unreservedly recommend him.

Norma Byers I have never seen a more attentive caring doctor than Dr Parrent. He explained any tests and procedures needed on a patient’s level. After tests were completed, Dr Parrent actually called me himself to give me test results. This very seldom happens. I would highly recommend Dr Parrent!

Shenique Green Dr. Parrent is very professional and knowledgeable, he is such an amazing doctor and I highly recommend him to meet your surgery needs. Dr. Parrent is very passionate and personable lovable personality and super kind. He loves and cares for his patients and it shows. Thank you so much for caring for me on this weight loss journey. This tool has transformed my life and I’m so grateful for you and your team. Blessings to you.

Mary Jane Cook I dont have a Facebook page. I have to use my wifes. Saw Dr. Lacefield for the first time. Found him easy to talk to about my problem and quickly came up with a solution. Just shoot him straight and he will be straight with you. He even has a since of humor which I found to be comfortable talking with him.

Cathy Baker Dr Lacefield isnt there anymore! He moved to The Woodlands or Cypress. He is an awesome Dr. I didnt receive a notice from him that he was leaving even though he was my Dr. I had to find another Dr fast.

He’s a good Dr and spent time and made sure I understood everything to do with my next procedure. The staff was great and very professional and I felt I had chosen the right Dr and the facility. In all a great place and a good experience.

Kathy Mcpherson Dr DeJong is a phenomenal doctor. He is likely the highest skilled ear surgeon in Texas, with great care and outcomes. He absolutely puts his patients health first. And he is the only doctor/ surgeon who worked closely enough with his anesthesiologist staff to prevent any side effects (with previous general anesthesia surgeries, my hospital stay was always extended 2-3 days, just from the anesthesia). He and his staff are super caring and helpful, every visit! I highly recommend Dr DeJong.

Modesto Medina I highly and boldly say that Dr. Dejong is the best ENT Specialist that I have met. He is very professional and shows love and care to his patients. codybill24 Dr. Richardson is awesome! Hes been my doc since he was in his residency, and is the best doctor I (or my wife) have ever had. He really cares, takes the time to understand you, your issues, and your other concerns/factors, and listens well. He has worked with me patiently for ongoing issues, and correctly diagnosed a somewhat rare disorder that I have without trying unnecessary tests and treatments to search for some other thing. Long story short, I cant recommend him enough, and will continue to go to him for as long as Im able.

Bethany Varner Dr. Richardson has been my doctor for several years now. He is a wonderful doctor who really cares about his patients. Hes always there when I have needed help. I can be a complicated mess but I have never overwhelmed him. I moved away and my family and I still commute 2 hours to be seen in his clinic. He gives his patients the greatest respect and listens to your problems with out judgement. I am an anxious person when I go to the doctor and about my health because weird things happen to me all the time. He always rises to the challenge and knows how to fix my health so I can be the best mom to my children and wife to my husband who has also been his patient for several years. I have never had a better experience at any other doctors office. My appointments are always on time I never have to wait. He responds quickly through the message portal, And his nursing staff is very very sweet and have gotten to know my husband and my entire family. I enjoy that they always take interest in my babys and remember them by name even if they are not with me at my appointment. They really do value families and have taken on my whole family including my parents, my husbands mom, and my husband grandparents. This is the best staff and best health care experience I have found. Im so happy to finaly have found a doctor that actually listens to me and does not just dismiss my fears or anxieties I wont ever go any where else. We appreciate everything you do Dr. Richardson! Your hard work and time you sacrifice everyday do not go unnoticed! Thank you for making a difference in my familys life. Highly recommend! { Thank You For Caring! } { Varner/Zimmerman/Bell } { Familys }

Merly Elisheva Hughes One can immediately tell that Dr. Richardson loves his job because he takes the time to listen to his patients and cares about them. I had back pain for more than 2 months and I had gone to 3 different doctors but no one took the time to find out what the problem was; they would just rush me out of their office and didnt care to help. I thank God for Dr. Richardson because he took the time to ask questions and find out what the problem was. My back pain is going away and Im grateful. Best doctor Ive had and I would highly recommend him.

Donna Lee Sullins Dr. South is a five star physician, this practice is four star. Dr. South is so patient and personable and listens well. You never feel rushed. However the practice makes it almost impossible to actually get an appointment with him, because they have SO many patients. He is opening his own practice later this year and I am so excited, so that when I actually want to see MY doctor, I can!

Helena Khuri Always severely understaffed no matter what time of year you go. This is the most staffed out of the three locations in this area, and thats being pretty generous. Appointments feel useless because youll be in the waiting room for an hour or more no matter what. When you are seen, the doctors and NPs are consistently dismissive of your issues. They talk over you, and make you feel inferior for requesting further testing or a second opinion. You have to fight for everything. Multiple of my friends have been misdiagnosed because they get seen and written off as "just having the flu" when it in fact has been a much more serious case (see: pneumonia). Pretty much the main positive of this place is convenience, but you might have to visit more than once to get proper diagnosis and treatment. If youre afraid of confrontation, youll have a better shot of actually being listened to if you bring a friend to speak up for you. :/

mem mac I was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection. I only had to wait about twenty minutes and was tested for flu and Covid;both test were negative. I was told if I was not better within three days to return. I received excellent care. I am so appreciative!!!

Renee Kim My 16 month old had been running a fever off and on for several weeks and was just miserable. We were visiting family from out of state and I couldnt bring myself to wait till we got home. When we arrived, check in was fairly simple since we had booked ahead and started the paperwork process before arrival. Intake nurse was very understanding and when temp was taken we discovered my sons fever was much higher than I thought. She immediately asked when hed last had meds and if she could administer Motrin. Yes. Then doctor, knowing it was gonna take a bit for results to come back, suggested to nurse that we could do testing before the doctor was in to see my baby, so results would be back by the time he was in to see us. Doctor was very caring and personable. Very grateful to be in such gentle, thoughtful hands.

Bobby Gray Absolutely hot garbage. I have a tooth infection. Half my face is swollen, and I have a lump the size of a baseball on face. Totally obvious I’m in pain. I get they don’t practice dentistry but I couldn’t get in to see a dentist until after the weekend. Meanwhile I’m in severe pain and needed medical attention until I can see the dentist. I see the nurse practitioner Jacob Olive. He does give me some antibiotics, which was helpful, but then tells me to take some Tylenol for the pain! Tylenol…. for an abscessed tooth!! You have to be joking with me right now. So I called to let him have it and he proceeds to tell me that he isn’t a dentist and if I’m in “that type of pain” I need to go to the ER. I will admit I chewed on him pretty good. Then after the call, out of pettiness, he called and canceled all the prescriptions! After a drove an hour to the pharmacy! Mark my words this is not the last you will hear from me. I will chase this all the way to the top of Integrity and my insurance if I have to. But I will make sure I get my money back and that my insurance doesn’t pay one cent of that claim! This place is absolute trash! I’m not taking this on the chin…. Buckle up buttercups!

Melodi Henry I was desperate to get my granddaughter in to see a doctor when she had an ear infection. She doesnt have insurance, so I needed a place that would accept a credit card that is specifically for medical expenses. There is only one practice in town that accepts that card, so we went for a first visit to Laurelle Family Health & Wellness Center. Wow. I was soooo impressed with everyone in the office! We were warmly greeted, offered water, sat in the waiting room for only a short time, and then had an incredible visit with the doctor! She was so wonderful with my very shy granddaughter and gently spoke with her as she examined her. I was in awe of her bedside manner. We will absolutely be back for all of my granddaughters care from now on!

Teresa Shivener I could easily fill a whole book detailing why I’ll never return to this medical practice. They have completely lost my trust by withholding access to my medical records, violating my confidence, manipulating medications, and engaging in false advertising. If you’re considering this place for your healthcare, do yourself a favor: research other clinics thoroughly and steer clear—run as fast as you can!

Brooke Nichols This was my worst experience with a doctor and I will not be going back. I felt extremely uncomfortable the entire time. He was in a big hurry and did not listen well to my concerns. I could not wait to get out of there..almost walked out halfway and said "Im sorry but i am going to find someone else." Even the nurse looked like she was uncomfortable because of him. I do not recommend.

William I just had my first appointment with Dr. Shanmugam. He is very enthusiastic about helping me to manage my diabetes and also seems to be very thoughtful. He gave me some samples and put me in touch with a representative from one of the medtronic to help me upgrade my existing insulin pump. With diabetes there are a lot of little things you need from your doctor like refills and blood work monitoring. Everyone in the office was very helpful and I am looking forward to working with Dr. Shanmugam going forward.

Ash Ley This was a pill mill. Patients would come in pay for their narcotics and get rx without seeing the doctor. I believe they took his controlled substance rx pad. But if not, he charges per pill like a dealer. Do not go here, he’s unethical and he is a glorified drug dealer. And the $20 charge to pay with your card, is probably bc he sends it to an offshore account. I can’t believe he’s in practice. SMH.

Google User I would not recommend this doctor and here are few red flags. 1. I needed his referral for an appointment with another doctor. He billed my insurance $200 for referral consultation. There was no communication from him whatsoever about this charges. I just gave him the doctor name and fax number to send the referral. 2. They charge $20 for paying with credit card. 3. This place looks like a dump and gives you bad vibes about the doctor. People have got good at buying positive reviews so don’t neglect the negative experiences.
1 /5
C L Although the concept of walk in is quick and convenient, I would not recommend this clinic for anything but very basic care. The inside of the building itself is not in good shape and there is a $20 fee if you aren’t paying in cash. Full vitals were not taken for my symptoms (only a blood pressureheart rate) and the doctor did not do a physical exam even though my symptoms very well could have been linked to something easily caught on a physical. He prescribed some blood tests but because one of his machines was broken, I had to go to an urgent care the next day for more diagnostics. Once my blood work came back, he wouldn’t discuss the results over the phone with me because he wanted me to pay another exam fee. The urgent care clinic was happy to talk to me about the one value that was off in my blood work results he requested and they actually sent off more thorough tests which diagnosed my condition. Overall, I don’t think I will be back

Bianca Henriques This doctor is registered as a civil surgeon with USCIS, so my husband and I went there to get our immigration physical. When we got there, we were told it would cost EACH of us 600 dollars just for him to check our vaccination records and run some blood tests, and on top of that there would be a 20 dollars fee PER PERSON for not paying cash. Meaning this he would charge us a total of 1240.00 just to sign our papers. Aside for the overcharging, the place looks like a dump. Would not recommend.

Zach .hf Bad communication and lack of understanding on issues with patients. Very unhappy with the handling of my mothers condition. Lack of urgency its taken us going on 4 business days not including the weekend to get a simple referral. They dont seem to care that the referral should have been automatic if he knew what he was doing he would have ordered it on our last visit. Instead he says go talk to a vascular surgeon and the vascular surgeon looked pissed that wound care had not been started already stating gang green has started on her toes. We contacted the pcp last week after the visit with the vascular surgeon and are still waiting to get a referral just to start wound care which should have been started. We are not the so called professionals the pcp office is and if they dont care about the urgency of some things their patients are suffering in the mean time and will likely lose another limb even though we have tried to do what we can we even had to have her admitted to the hospital for a week just two days after the pcp visit that should have started wound care weeks ago in the mean time the foot is just rotting away they have no urgency or real care just the basics at this pcp office.

Cheryl Mushinski Vengeance, righteously and lawfully, belongs to the Lord. Reviews, however, belong to us. With reviews we can share experiences, make recommendations, and (in this case) give fair warning. To preface, let me state that I refuse to refer to the subject of this review as a "doctor". For the purpose of this review, I will refer to him only as "the subject". My sweet Mother died less than six months after the subject diagnosed her with a "stomach bug" (yes, that is a direct quote). We were saddened that she chose to go to see him, but my sister drove her to the appointment on a Friday afternoon. The subject must have been in a hurry to start his weekend because he spent maybe 5 minutes with Mom. And, although she had been sick for a week and told him she was in the WORST PAIN OF HER LIFE (with her medical history that statement should have raised a huge red flag) he performed a cursory exam and prescribed nausea meds. He suggested that if she didnt feel better by the next day she should go to an urgent care for an IV. Well, the next day, she was in the ER - where a team of real medical professionals found a severe intestinal blockage that required emergency surgery and a week-long hospital stay - during which she was diagnosed with gallbladder cancer. Although gallbladder cancer is notorious for being asymptomatic, Mom had painful symptoms. For YEARS, we begged her to go see a real doctor about her pain, but she was loyal to a fault. The subject rewarded my Moms loyalty by making her feel that her pain was all in her head. He seems to have dismissed her pain as merely the complaints of an old woman. He prescribed psychotropic drugs; unfortunately, those drugs did not help her at all - worse yet, they masked some of the cancer symptoms. A few weeks before the events that led to Moms visit to the ER, we had finally convinced her to make an appointment with a real doctor. Sadly, she was in the hospital and was unable to make the appointment. An important note as to the character of "the subject" - he NEVER once visited my Mom; he NEVER once inquired about her condition. The real doctor - the doctor Mom was scheduled to visit but missed the appointment - that doctor visited every time she was in the hospital, not only after her surgery, but also with her subsequent cancer care. And she never got a chance to make to an actual appointment to see him - so he was never paid a dime. Real doctors CARE about people and do not dismiss their pain. It has been almost 4 years since our sweet Momma left us. Until now, I couldnt face the writing of this review. But, now, I feel it is my duty to do so. Perhaps, if our Mom had read a review like this one, in time to choose a competent and caring healthcare provider, our story might be different.

Renee Spell I had an appointment. The doctor was very informative about what is happening with my spine. I was very satisfied. The ladies at the front desk however denied me copies of his findings about what was going on and told me THEY DONT GIVE OUT COPIES. That is MY medical diagnosis and MY medical chart. I was then told they would mail in to me. Here I am month later and still have NO DOCUMENTATION for my records. I will be seeking and orthopedic doctor that WILL allow me to have copies of my diagnosis.

Sam Spink I recently visited Brazos Spine due to severe lower back pain. After diagnosing my issue due to bone on bone between L5 and S1, Dr Gundanna presented multiple options to improve my condition. Dr Gundanna and team were very helpful at explaining the details and were very honest as it relates to the surgery, the recovery time, managing pain and the financial aspect of the procedure. Brazos Spine truly cares about their patients and are great communicators. I highly recommend Dr Gundanna and his staff. Give them the opportunity to consult and partner with you, and I am confident you will experience the same results. Thank you to the entire team at Brazos Spine! God bless you guys.

Christopher Muncy "Life Changing" is the best thing I can say about Dr. Gundanna and his front office staff. I saw 3 other back surgeons before by lower spine was actually diagnosed correctly. He first looked at just 2 x-rays and stated "theres your problem!" . Surgery was promptly scheduled and 2 weeks later I was back out hiking. I cant say enough about Dr. Gundanna or his amazing staff. Franklin, Ari, Hannah, and the rest of them. In fact, he just performed another surgery on my back that went amazingly well. There is a reason I drive 1.5 hours from Conroe to Bryan to go see him....

Penacosta Fam I have no words to described how happy i am I had a previous back surgery that didn’t go well with another doctor. My pain and agony was terrible and I couldn’t do any workout and road biking due to the intense pain.I went with Doctor Gundanna and after MRI and explanation.I got multi disc replacement with spinal fusion and I couldn’t be happier. Thanks Dr. Gundanna for giving my life back.

Shirley Perry Dr Gundanna performed my husbands back surgery. We are from Massachusetts (now reside in Texas) and the back doctor my husband was seeing (in Massachusetts) wouldnt attempt back surgery to reduce/eliminate pain. Back surgery does take time to recover. There is recovery from the surgery, improving/restoring back muscles, etc. Well, he just had the 6 month review and are currently discharged. Most all of the pain has been relieved (as discussed with the doctor, that all of the pain wouldnt go away); but on the road to strengthen back muscles and relieve pain further. I recommend Dr. Gundanna. His office and he were professional and accommodating. Surgery was successful. I hope that anyone that has back pain considers Dr. Gundanna.

Jennifer Dunavant Nurses and doctor are amazing. My nurse was Ashley and when she left, Jamie took her place. They were both absolutely wonderful and Dr. Swanson was magnificent.

ronnie kessler The experience was very pleasant and trouble free. From check in, pre-op, surgery, recovery, and then discharge things went smoothly and the staff worked together seamlessly. The staff seemed very concerned about my physical as well as emotional comfort and each step was explained along with what to expect next. My discharge instructions were clear and given at a level that I could understand. All instructions were printed and sent with me as well. I am a week out from my surgery and was pleasantly surprised at the low level of discomfort I experienced. I also received a call the next day to ensure I was okay.

Asia ER doctors are rude ash to patients. The nurses are sweet and kind. They make sure you are taken care of and pick up where doctor lacks tremendously. But the doctors... Ive been to st .Joseph ER twice and each time the doctors were cold , condescending, and had no problem showing their lack of care for their patients. One time I was hooked up to the machine and I was trying to charge my phone in the outlet behind me to show the doctor my lab results from another clinic. My phone dropped as I was hooked up and couldnt reach my phone . As Im struggling to get to it the doctor looks at me and says " I hope your phones ok " sir you see me struggling it would have taken you 2 sec to grab my phone and hand it to me since I have a whole needle in my arm but no he decided to be a dick. I dont recommend this hospital whatsoever.GO TO BAYLOR SCOTT

will thornley We attempted to transfer our son a dermatologist at A&M from Houston. The office staff gave us incorrect information concerning Accutane prescription and lost his medical records after numerous confirmation phone calls that they had received it. I was hung up on by "McCartney" after I explained my disappointment in being billed for a useless office visit. Dr Childs may be a great doctor but his staff is young and immature and gave us the excuse of high staff turnover for the misinformation.

Laretta Bice I saw Dr Childs back in 2000 /2001. Hes the best dermatologist that Ive ever seen. The man is on point and actually tends to and takes care of his patients. I highly recommend him to any and everyone.

Iliana Santibanez The best dermatologist experience I have ever had. Making appointments is so easy. I can call on Monday and be seen on Tuesday. They are very flexible. I have never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen. Dr.Childs truly cares for his patients and the staff are always so sweet and kind.

lass1972 Leslie Dr. Childs is a wonderful dermatologist. He is kind, caring, and takes time to listen to your concerns. His staff is great from the front end to the back end. After I finished filling out the new patient forms I only waited about 5-7 minutes. He gave me 3 different prescriptions, samples of each prescription, and a discount card for each of them so I was able to get them for less then what I would have had to pay with insurance prescription co pay. I would highly recommend him and his office!

Becca Dr. James Childs is very nice. His office staff on the other hand do not know what they are doing. I’ve had staff call me to try and fill prescriptions that the doctor never even saw me for, and today the office staff actually hung up on me multiple times when I was calling to try and get a lab order that is REQUIRED for the medication I am on. This medication also requires that I be seen every 30 days by the doctor, but the office could barely even accommodate this one time for the next appointment I needed to make and tried to tell me there was no availability for 3 months. If this office had more knowledgeable and better trained office staff I think every patient experience would be improved. *EDIT 7/18/20 : “Response from owner” * No one from this office has ever tried to contact me since posting this review. Considering that this response is coming over 6 months later fits pretty well with the theme of my review. It’s disappointing because I honestly liked Dr. Childs when I was able to see him. I just don’t need to go to an office where you have to wait 50 minutes to see the doctor or not be able to schedule appointments in a reasonable time frame.

Lynn Geddie I have been going to Saint Joseph care and Texas A&M healthcare on 29th St. for many years. Dr. Anna Damian has been my PC doctor. She has helped through some very difficult times, including helping me get over a PTSD disorder that I have had since childhood. That is a lot to say since I am turning 70. Now that she is retiring to get a well-deserved rest. I am not worried about my continued healthcare there. Several in my family have been treated there by other physicians. The efficiency and care of the staff and physicians is excellent! I would recommend them to everyone. Dr. Anna, I will miss you terribly and appreciate the love and care you have shown me. May peace and joy fill your future!

Sandra Hulsey Hi I am Sandra Hulsey, I wanted to let you know about my primary care Dr. Anna P. Damien. She is by far the very best Dr I have ever seen in my 69 years. She has a Great bed side manner. She is very thorough and will listen to her patients. She isnt a Dr who rushes you in and out. She will take as long as it takes to make sure you are taken care of. I have had numerous things to deal with as far as Health Issues. She had helped me through many life threatening issues. And I am so proud to call her my friend and my Doctor. Thank God for the Great job.

ASHLEY PESEK Dr. Anna Damian is an AMAZING doctor. Of all the physicians I have encountered, there is no other doctor who has been more caring, more compassionate, and more giving. Her bedside manner is impeccable! She truly views her job as a service to others and treats her patients with the utmost care. Any and every concern I have, she addresses with sincere and genuine attention. She delivered both of my babies, and I continue to see her as my primary physician. The medical field needs more doctors like Dr. Damian.

Seliutin Tina Marie (Tina Marie) Dr. Nazarani is great and never deviates from the proper medical and lawful ways of providing these services. Patrick is a person who listens attentively and knows what one may need at a nearly intuitive level. I am grateful for the clinic. Ive been using this particular establishment for over 5 years. The receptionists are great at making sure they send out reminders. They also call back directly after visits with the provider to assist in making sure you are rescheduled for follow ups. I have spoken to others although Patrick is my preference. They all have knowledge and the team is diverse which is highly appreciated. When in office, I have noticed adults and children alike. I do believe they also accept Medicaid. My co pay per visit is affordable as I have done both.

Yasmin Hammami completely incompetent. i have been calling them for 3 months to send their documentation to my primary care, and they have failed to do so. Jessica Walsh was also 45 minutes late into my 50 minute appointment. completely useless clinic Edit: the "Documentation sent" was blank pages. and tell jessica not to be 45 minutes late to a 50 minute appointment, especially without an advanced notice.

Karli Marburger I cant say enough great things about this group of physical therapist! If youre looking for a group that will look at your specific needs, injury, and the progress your trying to get by a certain time, this is the right place to go! I have had 4 shoulder surgeries, for all my pt I came here. Dan was always my main therapist, and any time he wasnt the others were just as great! It is such a positive environment, which is exactly what you need when trying to recover. Dan always went above and beyond, as he does for all his patience. He truly does care about each individuals injury which really does help through the healing process. He always reviewed my case, and when something wasnt working, he was quick to make adjustments to make it right. I am beyond grateful to have found such a dedicated group of individuals who clearly really care about what they are doing! There dedication made the hours of driving worth it! I can never thank this group enough for all the help they have provided me.

Donna Adams I was blessed to find Dr. Grant Rowland when I needed surgery to repair a torn meniscus, and to work with Dan Curnutt, and occasionally with Paden Brown, for my physical therapy. I could not have gotten better treatment, encouragement, information, and guidance for my recovery than I did with these guys. Dan had me doing more than I imagined I could, and faster, and I would absolutely recommend them to any of my friends- in fact, I already have! Special shout out to Wanda Dunn, too, for her grace and good humor in handling the constant stream of calls, clients, and scheduling. These. Guys. ROCK.
