Taylor Stephens I almost never write reviews, but this one is well earned. After years of searching, it feels like Dr. Nguyen was my saving grace. I had consulted with numerous surgeons within the last several years, but they never could quite check all of my boxes. I felt hopeless on ever achieving the dream body that I wanted. That is, until I found Dr. Nguyen and his staff. From the very first interaction all the way to my most recent post-surgery call, each exchange has been pleasant and professional. Every member of the team has been very attentive to my needs. Dr. Nguyen’s bedside manner is phenomenal and he really takes his time to explain each step of the procedure and to answer any questions or concerns. Malinda Chapman This is the way medical care should be. I have never been treated so well at the doctors office. The NP actually listeed to my concerns and works with me to help me to feel better. I hope I never have to go back to a traditional doctors office. I have waited longer to see a doctor than the time I spent in the room with one. On my 1st in person visit here there was no wait and the NP took her time and went over everything. Peace of mind with medical care is important and that is what you get with first primary.

Karla Stripling I have been under Dr. Patel’s care for two pregnancies and I have had the best experience both times! He is extremely friendly, personable, and I can tell he cares about me as more than just a patient. Any concern I’ve had, he’s been reassuring and has handled everything with care. He was not able to be at the hospital to deliver my son, but he still called to check on me at midnight after I had delievered which meant so much to me. On top of that, Dr. Patel’s front office staff and nurses Mariah and Andrea are the sweetest people and I look forwars to seeing them at every visit. Cannot recommend Dr. Patel and his staff enough!

Shawn Washington I have been Dr.Patels patient since 1997. I was there for his residency and whenever he moved, I moved. Lol. In 1998, I was pregnant with my son and we both were excited because I already had 2 daughters. In the 3rd month, he discovered that my son had some abnormalities and he was not going to survive. He understood how strong my faith was so I would not terminate the pregnancy. He explained the grave risks that I was taking as I could have lost my life. He cared for me and my son until he was born and he was there when he passed away 2 hrs after delivery. 1 yr later I was pregnant again and this time it was a girl. She is now 24 yrs old. Dr. Patel is caring, very professional, honest, and takes his profession very serious. I would recommend ALL women, young and old to be his patient. Keep up the great work!!!

They go the extra mile to double triple check that their patients are healthy and everything looks ok. Dr. Patel has delivered all three of my children and to say it feels like this Dr. office is part of the family is an understatement. His bedside manner is always of the most caring and professional. His unmatched nurses (Mariah specifically) make you feel like more than a patient, especially during tough times. If you are lucky enough to have Sugarland OBGYN as your OB, it’s a personal relationship and you will be getting the best treatment available for you and your growing baby.

I dont have to wait long to meet with my doctor which, as a working individual, I truly appreciate. I love that my physician listens to me and is responsive to my questions. Hilal Porsuk Bergquist I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent experiences. While all the doctors I’ve encountered are excellent, I’ve had some issues with a few of the schedulers. Unfortunately, I found them to be unhelpful, rude, and lacking in knowledge. In one instance, a scheduler even scoffed at me and said, "Jesus Christ," when I didn’t know the answer to an insurance card question. This was surprising and unprofessional. Given my overall positive experience with the medical team, I’m surprised that such attitudes have persisted. While I know the names of the individuals involved, I am unable to share them here. However, I encourage others who have faced similar experiences to bring these concerns to management’s attention for improvement.

Scheryl Dennis-Terry Dr Cantu has been my PCP for fifteen years. She is the most patient doctor I have. She takes her time when I have an appointment. If you’re looking for a great PCP, check her out.

Jamal Barghouti Service and patient care have deteriorated over the past couple of years. The system is now profit centered, no longer patient-centered. Annual check-up is superficial, no followup, and rejected my request for a PSA test. Same comment on every test. The service provider, personally, was very good, but she had to follow orders and guidelines and, of course, save money...Maybe an extra $3.99 or less. I am disappointed..

Anselmo Tati Dr. Sokumbi, besides of being a greater doctor, she is a wonderful person. Shes very respectful and caring. I feel that she worries about my health and shes always prepared to discuss with me alternative treatments. She values my opinion. She allows me to bring different perspective during our appointment. She doesnt rush me out like other doctors do. She takes time to discuss with me issues. She is a good listener. She careful examines the results of my lab work. She has corrected wrong treatment given to me by a different doctor in the past. Shes always on time and in a good mood. I feel that she puts effort to find the root cause of my problems. My wife and my son are also thankful to her.

Jerry Maciel The Katy facility at 1093 is awesome, very clean, organized and the attendees are always very prompt and courteous. In 2024 all ran smoothly. HOWEVER, the main office where records are kept, made a mess of mine and my wifes records beginning 2025. Our files, login records, emails and even phone numbers were crisscrossed in 2025. I get email alerts for my wife, she gets all my reminders of appointments and alerts, I enter my credentials to login and her profile shows. When I enter her credentials to login, she does not exist. I made an appointment with my doctor and when I went to confirm it, they had my wife booked, not me. All of this is downright dangerous. I spent the whole morning of the 18th on the phone with them in an effort to correct the situation. They are telling me it will take 24 to 48 hours to TRY to correct our records and I am hoping the outcome wont be worse than it is. Update: Almost one month to respond to my concerns, when they did, all they said was "thank you for your kind words", completely avoiding addressing my problem with their record-keeping. Did anybody read my comments at all? I think that these responses are pre-recorded.

Rochonda Richardson This place is great. I came here one night around 10:00 after work because I was having an asthma attack. I didnt have to wait long at all. They kept me there about two and a half hours to make sure I was good to go. The person at the front desk was fast and friendly and so were the doctors and nurses. The waiting room is also clean.

Sarah White Took my sister here Friday morning and she was sent home with a prescription for nausea. Hours later I call ambulance to take her to a real ER where she was promptly diagnosed, taken to emergency surgery and has been in ICU since. If you are in trouble drive past this place to somewhere you will get real help not be dismissed without being examined. Horrific experience. Stay away.

Dr also was not really honest with me on my situation after he looked up my CT scan/ also they did my things that are wrong with me with my cyst on my kidney or what to do about that. Griffin Hanks Complaint letter filed 12/18/24: I am writing to formally address my recent experience at your ER facility located off Hwy 90 and Murphy Rd. Unfortunately, I found the level of customer service provided by Chris S (duty nurse) to be unprofessional and unhelpful, leaving me deeply dissatisfied and disappointed. On 12/17/24, I visited your facility expecting the compassionate and respectful care that urgent care centers are known for. A kindergarten student in FBISD was having a severe allergic reaction and needed immediate medical attention. He was rush to the ER immediately. However, I was met with rudeness and a lack of courtesy from your staff member. Specifically, refusing services requested (EpiPen), treating the child in desperate need of medical attention as less than worthy, “the nurse dismissed the child’s comfort level and best interests – advising to wait and see what happens,” Chris S(nurse) was short-tempered and unprofessional-raising his voice at 6 year old child by telling him he better not move and he needs to be still when finally after 30 mins of waiting... an injection to stop the itching,swelling and huge nodules growing on his little body,” making the experience unnecessarily stressful”. As someone who relies on an ER for timely assistance, this type of behavior is unacceptable. Patients who visit your facility are often experiencing health issues and require understanding and empathy. The dismissive attitude of the nurse, Chris S that I encountered, undermines the purpose of HCA services and reflects poorly on this establishment. I strongly urge this matter be addressed by providing Chris S with additional training in customer service and patient care, additionally, and contact the parent for a formal apology for mistreatment. Simple courtesy, active listening, and professional communication can go a long way in improving patient experiences and maintaining your facility’s reputation. Russell Jones I went to ER for pneumonia and Dr. Tripathy did an emergency surgery in a moments notice to remove fluid out of my lungs. His attention to detail and years of experience saved my life. I went to his office for follow up care and I was amazed of all the Surgeon of the year awards on the wall. I met a patient in there that Dr Tripathy did a 6th bypass surgery on him and he looked healthy as a horse. I realize how blessed I was to have him as my surgeon. He’s not only is a great Dr he’s also an awesome person. His office staff is awesome too. The receptionist is great and always smiling and glad to see their patients. His Nurse Practitioner Irene is the best, she’s very patient and takes time to answers all my questions. ( and believe me I ask lots of questions). I don’t normally care to go to any Dr office, however, I enjoy going to this office because I know they really care about their patients. More importantly, I know not gonna be rushed so they can get to the next patient. What an awesome team!

Stan Bilski I initially went to Dr. Tripathy to get a second opinion on a 95% blockage in my heart artery. Prior to visiting him I was told by a cardiologist that, after a failed angioplasty attempt, my blockage was such that it required open heart surgery. The heart surgeon he sent me to concurred with the diagnosis. Dr. Tripathy took one look at my imaging and felt the blockage could be addressed with an angioplasty. He sent me to an interventional cardiologist who concurred that the right solution for the blockage was an angioplasty and open heart surgery should be a last resort. My story ended successfully with the blockage being eliminated and a stent inserted in my artery. Imagine a heart surgeon, who makes his money performing surgeries, doing what was best for the patient, even if it means not having surgery. I am blessed that his expertise, knowledge and honesty saved me from an unnecessary heart bypass and months of recovery. Dr. Tripathy is a well skilled, very decorated and highly respected surgeon who can be counted on to do what is best for the PATIENT. He has a wonderful bed side manner, is extremely empathetic and is truly concerned about the health and welfare of every patient he sees. I would highly recommend Dr. Tripathy and his crew, headed by Irene, to any person who is in need of a highly skilled, honest surgeon.

Libeth Ramas The entire experience was great, from reception, check in, the office manager, the NP/PA, phlebotomist and of course Dr. Sarfraz Aly. Excellent bedside manner, listens to the patient and give several options for treatment. The environment is clean and tidy, they have a fancy coffee machine while waiting. Kudos to all the office staff.

Melissa F FOLLOW UP: I have continued to see Dr. AMER because of her nurse who is wonderful: returns calls, responsive, timely and helpful. I believe in 2nd chances. Things have gotten better with Dr. Amer who has addressed my concerns. She is a pleasant physician, always available and the office is never crowded or requires long wait time. FIRST VISIT: The location is new. The doctor seemed new as well. I was a new patient and thought she would inquire about my family and medical history, she did not. I was offered to do my annual physical which was open your mouth, breath in and out and go do labs at Quest. I said I recently had abdominal pain, that was ignored. As she exited the room her child was at the door. I got a sense of dissatisfaction and like she was not a personable physician who got detailed with her patients. She did a lot of suggesting to see other specialist and was honest about her abilities

Shannon Sammon As a new patient, I was very unsure of what to expect. Unfortunately, the only person that showed me any empathy, or care, was the receptionist, Griselda. Other than that, Dr Lin was not empathetic at all. I expected much more person centered treatment and understanding than what I received. I informed Griselda that she was the only staff member who appeared to care about me as a patient. I will not be returning. I need a Dr that will listen and who attempts to treat me as a person.

Anis Rangwala Had an excellent visit with Dr. Almonte today to alleviate knee pain. The office staff were friendly and made me feel comfortable. Zero wait time, extreme efficiency, and the doctor was very knowledgeable. He took his time to understand my situation and had a plan in place for my remedy instantly. The office is extremely clean and well run. Highly recommend seeing Dr. Almonte for any pain issues that may arise.

Brandie Twitty I need a solution to pain management due to trauma done to my back. Due to the nature of my visit this can be emotionally and mentally exhausting. Everyone one from the from Griselda at the front desk to my Dr and Pearlie who assessed my physical therapy needs. I want to acknowledge Pearlie specifically. She had specific training with my partial situation and showed empathy and care. She took extra time with me. I have PTSD and she knew how to handle each assessment. My experience was already great but this was an extra piece that was very impressive. I’ve delt with many medical appointments where I needed to explain the sensitivity in my case. Not a big deal but a norm for me. Pearlie impressed me. My Dr also took is some sensitive information and gave me a safe space to have open communication about our solutions.

The staff is courteous, helpful and very professional. Dr. Lin and Almonte are wonderful and obviously among the best in their field. Qx Xi They didnt help me at all. They shot up my back with so much novocaine that I was sick in bed for 3 days. Dont waste your time. Also they will not write benzo or opiate scripts at all, not even 5 pills. Waste of time and money.

Amie Fu Jin I have been a patient with Dr. Le for over 15 years and through 3 pregnancies. My experience is that Dr. Le is respectful, caring and has a good bed side manner with his patients. For a busy practice, the team does not make you feel super rushed and prioritizes patient care. I recently delivered my third child with Dr. Le. I felt like he worked well with the hospital staff, which made for an easy delivery. Dr. Patel stepped in for my other deliveries, which were also positive experiences. Overall, I do recommend the practice.

Throughout all these years, I have consistently felt an overwhelming sense of support and care from everyone in the office. Louel Fabila This place is not very accommodating. My wife came to this place in hopes of receiving proper care but she was turned away because of immigration status. There is no law in Texas that implies anyone can be denied care because of their immigration status. My wife is NOT an undocumented immigrant. WE WILL NOT BE GOING TO THIS PLACE. They claim to be in the business to help women but it did not feel that way. They called me back to try to explain but it was not enough.

Ariana AR I called four times since last week, and each time, I was put on hold for nearly 30 minutes without getting any answers or being able to schedule an appointment with Dr. Deanna Mcdonald as I planned first time. They never followed up or returned my calls. The front desk service is extremely poor.

Melia Boyer Dr. Shaya has been my physician for 15+ years. She is friendly, approachable and eager to help her patients take charge of their own health and well-being. Shes thorough in collecting pertinent medical, social and family history information. She orders lab work and other tests to ensure an accurate diagnosis. She works with her patients to find the right combinations of diet or lifestyle changes, supplements and medications to function at their best. Her staff are friendly and efficient and their use of technology help make new patient forms, access to your health records, lab results and the office quick and painless. Virtual visits are available for established patients.

Lydia Afeman I think Dr Shaya is one of the most progressive physicians Ive met since I moved to Houston in 2009. She is an outside of the box thinker. Most physicians Ive met in Houston are not progressive. They dont look at the patient, they dont listen and they only treat the numbers. They are too traditional medicine. If you want a physician that is going to listen, figure out what is wrong, Dr Shaya is your doctor. I felt horrible for years and in the last 3-4 weeks, Ive turned the corner. If you have thyroid issues, she is the physician you should see. Im so glad I found her and she communicates with her patients. Houston needs more Dr Shayas...

Lana Hannah I liked her very much, but find it impossible to get in. When I do get in, Ive actually left before being seen, usually waiting over an hour each time. Super disappointing and terrible service - especially when paying full price for "concierge service". Unfortunately, Ill be looking for a new doctor.

Ashley Hurst Dr. Shaya is exceptional in the work that she does. After going through a very scary month of procedures, surgery and a hospital stay it has been incredibly refreshing to be in the care of a gifted doctor that truly cares about her patients and the details of their health journey. Health isnt always a straight line, so I was interested in someone who could think outside of the box and consider all aspects of health. Im in healthcare myself and I know how incredibly rare and special it is to find someone like her... cant recommend her enough.

Karen Friend Hands down the BEST doctor you will ever go to. Have seen her for 11 years. She even saved my life by reading my med records for my cancer & found I was positive for a second cancer that my oncologists missed. Great diagnostician for anything on any part of your body! Rosa Garza Absolutely great. I was treated with the best care ever. This place will be highly recommended by me. Even my family felt very comfortable leaving me there. The therapist were all so patient with me. Anita from OT made sure I would get a snack at night. When I would get up from the bed , the buzzard from the bed would go off. Yelper Lou MC Sugar Land Medical Center has 3 buildings. It has plenty of parking but depends where youre going. The lot wraps around this fan-shaped medical facility. 15200 aka Building 1 is a 3-story medical center to house various physicians with variety of medical specialties. Parking lot has pretty holly trees. 15300 is the middle building and its a surgery center. 15400 aka Building 2 is another 3-story building.

Emilie Ellison First time patient with Hotze. Husband gifted me for Christmas cause he was so impressed with Dr Hotze reputation. The cost is expensive, but we assume you get what you pay for. Office esthetics and people are great, but…My first appointment was an overwhelming experience, as it was 5 hours at initial appointment, lots of tests but learned a lot and met some great people. Dr. Jason Gourlas is kind; but lack confidence in him as he seems to take things out of proportion when making a “diagnosis” I left the appointment and learned that I guess a had a “trauma” in my life?? Which is weird because I didn’t and yet he referred “trauma counseling” what…??? I went there because Dr Hotze is always speaking about thyroid issues that women experience and they use bio identical hormones to “fix” that yet I left my $3k appointment and they are not addressing that at all. My husband trusted Dr Hotze due to reading his books and listening to his public advise over the last 15-years and sent me here and unfortunately I’m disappointed with how this has turned out...

Joeylyn 04 The place needs improvement on training their employees. I called to set an appointment for something telling me that they could help me in the place. When i get to the place, the front seat Silvia took my information, insurance and identification without asking me why i am there. After 40MINUTES of waiting she called me and asked what i am there for so i told her, then she said they can’t help me there at all even though when i called about what i needed(i was very specific with it) they set appointment to help me. I shouldn’t have waited 40 min for her to tell me she can’t help. I have work and i go to school, i don’t have a lot of time in my day to waste. If the employees know the information they give the patient, it would save their time and our time.
