Josiah Butterfield I visited a BS&W hospital in the ER after separating my shoulder in Austin. I was instructed to schedule follow-up with Ortho in one week, I booked with BS&W so as to not worry about transferring records. When I visited the doctor, I found they had booked me with a family doctor who was not able to help my situation at all. Despite the fact I was moving the next day and my insurance was expiring the next week, no orthopedic doctor was able to see me and they were not even apologetic. Two nurses told me I needed to see a family doctor before a specialist even though my hospital discharge (that the lady who booked my appt. was supposedly looking at) specifically said I needed an ortho appt. in one week.. I am shocked with level of care and must now worry on Christmas if I will be able to find any appointments in between Christmas and New Years. Completely unprofessional service, and did not take responsibility for their mistake.
