1 /5 N. D.A.: Took my car about a month ago to get the brakes & "valeros" replaced, and fix the AC. A few days after, the "brake fluid low" light started flashing so we took it back. I told the owner that this light had never flashed before & why now after they had just put new brakes? He said, "things happen sometimes when the car is old." I didnt appreciate his condescending comment & tone & he offered a full refund, but said it had warranty so I gave it a chance & left it for them to take a look. When I picked up they told me that the ABS module wasnt good anymore & needed replacement. The ABS module is the most expensive part of the brake system. I find it suspicious that it just happened to break down right after they replaced my brakes. They took 0 accountability & said until the ABS module isnt replaced to just put brake fluid myself. This is unacceptable, and just poor customer service. Then my AC stopped working so we took it back yet again as they claimed it still had warranty. They found something else wrong & wanted to charge me more to replace a part. Why did they not notice this to begin with, why do I constantly need to keep taking it back only for them to find new things wrong? The last straw was a few days ago when I was driving to work & heard a loud noise coming from my left front tire. I looked out the window & saw a piece of green wire had fallen out. There was too much traffic to stop & get down, but I managed to snap a quick pic. It looked green & long, with the words MATCO on it (pic included). I Googled what it was & its a tool for guess what? Brakes! (Google pic included) I almost crashed over a forgotten tool in my tire! My father went to ask for a refund, even a partial refund, since we spent around $700 there! They told my elderly sick father that it wasnt a tool & not theirs. Google clearly showed it was a tool & theyve been the ONLY mechanics who have worked on my car in the last months. Now they want me take my car for them to look at YET again! Im scared to let these incompetent mechanics touch my vehicle anymore as I have lost all trust. How can they forget tools inside endangering customers on the road? I feel I was screwed over & they are denying any wrongdoing. At this point all I want is a refund for the malpractice. Do not waste your time & money here.
