5 /5 Megan Parman: I called Clifton to run a diagnostic on my car. He showed me everything he was doing, had me download the manufacturers manual to follow along. He also explained in plain English why he was doing the steps and explained the codes he received. I dont know much about cars and he never made me feel stupid for asking questions. Pricing was very reasonable. Would highly recommend as a mobile mechanic. Unfortunately taking out the transmission is out of my budget. I trust he did everything he could to make sure what was in my price range was checked out. I appreciate the help and should I get another car, I would call him again.

5 /5 malyn barnes: Absolutely amazing! I called fairly early in the morning and he quickly squeezed me into his schedule and had my car fixed by 12 that day. He took an hour and diagnosed the issue within 10 minutes. My cars gear shift wasnt working and instead of trying to over complicate the issue he just fixed it. The pricing was beyond reasonable and compared to other auto repair shops, he was the most affordable. Shoutout to him!

5 /5 Benjamin Drummond: His 4.9 star rating is an abomination. 10 stars wouldn’t even get close to being accurate. Cliff took my Jeep in for what was supposed to be a routine shock and strut replacement (a diagnosis from a different mechanic). When the car was having the exact same issues after the repair he got creative, rediagnosed the issue, and stayed out for me to get back with the part 30 mins later and do the extra repair that night. Even taught me a thing or two during the fix. Excuse the essay, but I don’t know anyone else who does that. Roll the dice for honest, quick, and quality service from anyone else, or guarantee all three from Cliff. He will be getting all of my business, my wife’s business, and my friend’s business.

5 /5 Keely Westveld: Had a fantatic experience with Clifton. My AC went out and he was able to diagnose the issue, order the parts, and completely fix the problem within 4 days. My AC is the coldest its been since I purchased the vehicle 6 years ago. Additionally, he cleaned my filters and the car is running so much better than it was when I dropped it off. The service was quick, thorough, and for a price that cannot be beat. I thoroughly appreciated his text explanations, photos, and videos throughout the process. 10/10, I will use him again for any issue I may have with my car.

5 /5 Mitch Mechtenberg: I feel bad that I forgot to leave a review after my first time doing business with Cliff but after my second experience I’d like to give him 10 stars if I could. I’ve worked with a lot of mechanics in my life and Cliff is the absolute cream of the crop, hands down. -Quickly responds all the time (I don’t know if he takes time off but I hope he does cause he deserves it lol). -By far the most transparent/informative/instructive/communicative/etc. (the list goes on) mechanic I’ve ever worked with. -Quickest AND most affordable mechanic I’ve ever worked with (by far). He was able to get most of the parts I needed same day and expedited the other parts for no ridiculous upcharge. The other parts arrived the following day and he had my car ready to go about an hour after delivery. *In my most recent experience, I texted him asking to come assess my issues. He had a lot of jobs scheduled already but came by immediately to check it out. He happened to have every part I needed in his truck and had my car working better than ever in UNDER 30 MINUTES. For UNDER $100. First time I’ve ever had a mechanic charge me less than $100 for anything other than an oil change. I could give this man his flowers all day but I hope y’all get the point, Cliff is the best around. Don’t waste your time or money anywhere else in the greater San Marcos area. I might be moving soon but I’ll still drive from anywhere for his level of service. I can’t thank you enough, Cliff! You’re the man!
