1 /5 Tunmise Adeleye: Dishonest and Overpriced – Avoid This Shop
I had an extremely disappointing experience at All Makes Collision in San Marcos. I brought my BMW in for a minor issue—a front sensor and a small bumper fix. The damage was minimal, yet the owner tried to charge me an exorbitant amount, drawing up a completely fake estimate of $400. He justified the price by claiming that my car is a BMW, which is a blatant rip-off tactic. To make matters worse, he told me the parts wouldn’t arrive until Tuesday and that the repair would take an hour and a half of labor.
I knew the estimate was fake because the damage was superficial, and I suspected something was off. Instead of getting scammed, I decided to drive two hours to my trusted mechanic in Houston, Sonny T Auto Repair. I spent just $30 on gas, and when I got there, my car was fixed in 10 minutes for a total of $40—literally a fraction of what All Makes Collision was trying to charge me.
This kind of shark-like behavior is dishonorable and preys on customers who may not know better. A business that operates this way deserves to lose customers. If you’re in San Marcos and need car repairs, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. All Makes Collision is just looking to exploit people, and I wouldn’t trust them with any repairs.
