5 /5 C P: This Austin Duck adventure tour was so much fun for the entire family and every age group. Included is your very own Duck whistle to whistle at passersby. Our tour guide and driver Captain Bob made the experience even more fun with flowing commentary on sightseeing, landmarks and restaurant suggestions. Seeing all the beautiful lake homes of the rich and famous once we were in the water. Upon returning where you check in for the tour is an amazing gift shop with everything you would want to take home to remember your memories of Austin Texas and more. There is also a cafe with barista coffees, pastries and snacks.

5 /5 Moises Ortega: I shouldve reviewed this sooner but I keep forgetting. I showed up in Austin and couldnt check into my hotel till 4. The Austin Visitor Center safely stored my luggage for 8 dollars while I toured the city. It was such a relief! The woman that helped me with this, I believe her name is Angel (at least she was an angel), was passionate about Austin! She said she came from out of town too, Portland maybe, and gave me a map of downtown highlighted with all the best places to tour! Per her advice I went to the capitol building and got a tour on the top of the hour. Then, I went to the O. Henry House and that was an incredible experience all on its own. I wish I couldve seen more of the places she highlighted but my trip was too short (I kept the map though for my next trip), but anyone that needs ideas on what to do in Austin should visit here first!

5 /5 latanya addison: Very nice place as it was the meeting point for our tour group. Our parking was discounted from $40 to $9 and you can’t beat that in the downtown area. They had souvenirs, a coffee bar, an artist playing live music, smiling greeters, great customer service and super clean bathrooms!!! I don’t have any pictures as we were running close to our tour time but I will get some on my next visit. Austin is such a beautiful and laid city in which one visit just isn’t enough to get the full experience!

5 /5 Caroline Jardine: We’ve just spent two in Austin at the end of a longer trip and went to the visitor centre for some suggestions. Paige and her colleagues were wonderful - very knowledgeable and super friendly. The passion they have speaking about (tourist things in) Austin made it clear they love their jobs. I’m not generally someone who posts reviews, but I felt compelled to do so this time. Moreover, the shop in which the centre is located has a lot of nice little gifts and the coffee shop makes a great cup of coffee. Shout out as well to Jason (?) who provided an informative and friendly commentary during the bus tour, with a dose of humour thrown in. All in all, the best visitor centre I think we’ve been in.
