5 /5 Olivia Shultz: UPDATE:The next morning after making my initial post the owner of the salon texted and emailed me back explaining that most women in their salon are not bi-lingual and offered me to schedule with her to provide their services within the week. Confirmation texts were sent the day prior to verify our appointment time. Upon arriving to the small shop, 8 minutes early I was welcomed in by Angeles. After briefly going over my requests she mixed up the formula fast and applied thoroughly through my thick hair. Once finished she removed some foils and I went under the blow dryer for 10 minutes. After a good wash she mixed and applied toner within appropriate times. After the second wash she conducted a protective treatment on my hair then dried, trimmed, and styled my hair. Not only did my hair feel the healthiest it’s ever been but the color came out BEAUTIFULLY. I have been visiting Aveda style salons for years and they’re great at keeping the hair healthy but Angeles was finally able to reach my desired color without the damage and without Aveda prices. Her location and shop are small and humble, but the relationship the ladies have with each other and the work ethic within is something wonderful. I would rather have this experice than subpar service at a bougie salon. Angeles knows her stuff and I’m thankful we were able to get past our initial meeting with this outcome. Hands down recommend this shop!
Initial post: Whenever calling to check their rates and availability I was met with one of the employees saying no they wouldn’t give me that information. They then asked if I spoke Spanish; which I only know very little and when provided that answer they just didn’t respond and hung up. Was really hoping to use their service as their blonde work looks really nice, but if you don’t speak Spanish this might not be the salon for you.
