1 /5 Kolby Stewart: Let me start by saying the sales process went well and the salesman was very good, though he completely ghosted me the last three times Ive tried contacting him. Thankfully, after immediately having issues with my newly purchased used vehicle, he said they would take care of the issues no problem. It even ended up needing a transmission, which the GM graciously approved to be replaced, at no cost to me. I am thankful for all of this, including the loaners I was given the entire time.
Now, onto the service department...my vehicle went to the shop at Bruner THREE times. They initially changed out the entire transmission, only for me to have major slipping issues upon initially driving it. I checked the transmission fluid and there was NONE on the dipstick. No wonder it was slipping right!?!? Also, one of the codes ORIGINALLY indicated a bad O2 sensor. They DID NOT change a sensor like it indicates on the service record. Instead, they did everything they could not to change it (I was told everything from wiring to gaskets to things completely unrelated to O2 sensors).
After picking it back up for the THIRD time, they assured me they drove it for "several days" to ensure the CEL did not come back on and the issue was taken care of. Well, it came back on within 2 miles of leaving the shop. After informing my contact at Bruner about this situation, giving him the exact code (same code as one of the original codes) and that I would take it to my own shop after they still wouldnt simply replace the O2 sensors, I have been completely ghosted; three texts were sent, over the course of a few days, with ZERO response.
While I appreciate the work they did to fix all of the issues on this vehicle (and letting me use a loaner the entire time, one of the original issues NEVER got fixed, even after three trips back to the shop, and, I absolutely do not appreciate that I was completely ghosted, the issue was never resolved, there was never an apology for the service department failing to remedy the problem, and no path forward, except for me to take it to a shop I can trust will fix it.
