1 /5 Chandra Brooks: 1 star for doing the repair for needed but -20 for screwing up my brakes which could have caused a fatal accident. My 70 something yr old dad, evidently more adept at this craft of automotive repair, had to come in from out of town to fix what city spring’s owner and his body guard did to my car. This was a year ago, and I’m still extremely perturbed that city spring’s owner took my money and twice let me drive off with my brakes/rotors that were being ground down by a bolt/pin that was bent out of it’s position when he jammed it back. And, put my tires back on WITHOUT using the lock key. I had a case with BBB, but they only documented the dispute. Never helped at all! In the end, people will recognize that easy, shade tree work is all this company is good for. I’m comforted in knowing I’m not alone but not pleased that the city continues ignoring the extent of the company’s refusal to own up to its horrendous errors. People’s lives are at risk due to their shoddy work on vehicle performance issues. Ladies, take a guy with you, ask for verification of the body guard/attendant’s ASE certification, and don’t pay until AFTER someone else checks the “repair”. Smiles don’t mean a thing, and he’ll try to laugh at you behind your back once your money is taken. I’ll finish with exactly what I told the owner... GOD DOESN’T SLEEP!
