I called randomly and explained my situation and they didnt hesitate to help me, I was sent two tow truck recommendations instantly and they were done before I got off work. The owner is amazing, the work done was fast and my car is back driving perfectly, the price was fair and the customer service here is TOP TIER! I won’t be going anywhere else for my car service.

1 /5 Joshua Limas: In March 2025, went to this shop to get some work done on my 2018 Ford Explorer. I had my breaks and rotors done. I also mentioned to the owner of this shop that a clicking noise was coming from the engine and if he could run a diagnostics test. He later informed me that it was the harmonic balancer and he could order the part and fix the issue. After a few weeks he called me to bring my truck to install the part. I went Friday and dropped off my truck he said it would be fixed the next day, to come by around noon and it would be ready. Went at 1pm, the owner stated he needed more time so I said I would be back later that evening and I arrived around 6pm and to my surprise it was not ready.He said the part ordered by him was not the right one, he put the old one back on. He called me another couple of weeks later to bring my truck in to install the part and I dropped off my truck and once again he stated it would be ready the next day. I went the next day a total of 3 times and not only was my truck not ready but he said it was the wrong part again! By this time I was frustrated and asked for a refund due to the owner giving me the run around and constantly lying to me. Went to 3 different shops which one of them was a Ford dealership and they all gave me the same answer that it was not the harmonic balancer but only a belt issue. They stated the harmonic balancer was tampered and damaged by the previous shop I took it to. I paid 1700 for the part at the Ford dealership. After a month and a half the dealership called me that they were unable to find the part due to it being on permanent back order and could no longer keep searching for the part. I was refunded my money for the part and the dealership advised me that I may need to buy another vehicel in time due to the part not available. I later found I out that Coit Auto Shops mechanics are not CERTIFIED but are apprentices. This shop ruined my truck and now I have to find another vehicle due to them tampering with the part. I highly recommend you dont go to this shop and if you do BEWARE of tampering/damaging your vehicle. This shop does not even deserve one star. Only reason why I waited so long to write the review is due to waiting for all the shops to give me the diagnosis. This place is a complete zero and piece of crap!!!!

1 /5 Arianna London: WOMEN BEWARE. They will lie to you and take full advantage. I came in to get my front brake pads replaced — simple, right? Before they even started, I told them clearly and repeatedly that I wanted to see the old brake pads BEFORE they put the new ones on. Not a complicated request. Then the check-in guy comes back trying to upsell me, saying my rear brake pads ALSO need to be replaced. I asked the price and was told $300 total. I agreed — again, repeating that I wanted to see the old pads before the new ones went on. At this point, I’ve asked THREE times. I wait about an hour. I let them know I was going to run across the street real quick, but I still wanted to see the old pads before they finished. Was told i had time because it would be about 40 mins. I was gone maybe 15 minutes. When I came back — the car was DONE and that’s when they finally hand me the old pads. AFTER the new ones are installed. I took pictures and sent them to my dad (who’s a mechanic unfortunately just had surgery so he couldn’t do them himself). The back brake pads did not need replacing(see picture). They lied. Period. Then — surprise! — the bill is now almost $450. They tried to sneak in a brake fluid flush without telling me. When I called it out, suddenly they offer me a “discount”… which still leaves me paying $400 for something I came in expecting to cost around $160. Absolutely shady, manipulative, and disrespectful. I feel completely scammed. If you’re a woman — especially one who doesn’t know a lot about cars — they will absolutely try to take you for a ride. I will NEVER come back.

3 /5 Jarma Dellow: Without asking, they changed the new oil filter that I had very recently gotten changed at another shop. $10 upcharge. Quick at least.

1 /5 wanda darby: They are very prejudiced my son came to the shop yesterday to pick me up and the guy working said is that your ride ma’am. I said know that’s my son he than said is he a drug dealer. I said no he’s not and why do he have to be a drug dealer he owns a couple of restaurants. He then said owning a restaurant doesn’t make that much money. I will never go back there and I will tell people not to go just because We’re black we have to be drug dealers. Some black ppl do make a honest living
