E B We were looking for a trusted auto shop in North Dallas. We found Knapp Auto Repair and couldn’t be happier. Robert is nothing short of amazing. I feel like we found the needle in the haystack with Knapp Auto. Robert and his team worked tirelessly to help us troubleshoot a recurring issue with our vintage Jeep TJ. Robert always made himself available and was so attentive. He went above and beyond to help us get resolution to the electrical issue the Jeep was experiencing. I honestly cannot say enough about this business and they have a customer for life.

Shin Ohno This place is amazing! They are really honest about letting me know what I need and don’t need to make the car safe and drivable. I originally had one of major mechanic chain stores checked my car. Their quote was almost $10,000 and I was devastated. But, when I talked to Simon from this mechanic store, he diagnosed the car (he used the diagnostics from the other mechanic chain store as a reference and didn’t even charge for their diagnostics!) and honestly told me that I only need a half of the things that another mechanic told me. Simon and his team got it done for $2,300. Each item they charge me was only about a 1/2 of the other store. Thanks to Auto Repair, my car is functioning well. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially to the people who are in the same shoes as I was.

Steven Purdy Richard has always been straightforward and honest with any of our vehicles needing or not needing service. We just had our timing chain serviced...having that peace of mind that we wont have to worry about it for another 200K is a great feeling. While they were in there, he also replaced the water pump, oil and filter along with brakes serviced as well. Truck feels great...very happy with their service.
