Check-in is always quick and easy; the nurses are warm, thoughtful and attentive; and the doctors are informative and very kind. No one ever wants to end up at the Emergency Room, but if you need to go, this one has never let me down.

5 /5 Adela Lopez: My mother in law went in for stomach pain and i absolutely loved her care team from the surgeon to her nurses the treatment she received was kindness and compassion. She was treated with respect and even though she had broken English they made it a priority to bring in a kindhearted nurse to explain to her every detail of her situation so that she would feel at ease. Thank you nurses for your kindness it did not go unnoticed. I would absolutely recommend this hospital to anyone.

5 /5 Heather Eure: I rushed my five-year-old to the ER in the middle of the night when she was struggling to breathe. I would normally prefer to go to Dell Childrens and am often reluctant to take my kids to a facility that does not strictly focus on pediatrics. However, BSW is much closer to my home than DCMC, and I wanted to get my daughter seen as fast as possible. Once inside the ER, we were called back within about 5 minutes. The staff took my concerns seriously, treated my daughter with compassion, and provided me with helpful information about her condition without being condescending. Everyone was adept at working with children and made my daughter, who was very nervous and having a hard time cooperating, feel comfortable. A special thanks to Dr. Wallace, the RT, and the nurses (I think one of their names was Jesse--I wish I could remember everyones names!) for their support, kindness, and skilled care. While I hope I dont have to rush anyone to the ER ever again, I will definitely go to BSW if the need arises in the future for urgent medical care.
