5 /5 Whitt Behr: My wife and I were traveling to Houston on a Friday night from out of state. As we were exiting the highway to refuel, the power steering went out and the car shut off. We were trying to make it to Houston in time for my wifes grandfathers 95th birthday so it was a special occasion. We had no idea who would be open this late and on a Friday. Our Garmin suggested we call this place and we have absolutely no complaints with our service. Not only did they fix up the car quickly but they did not price gouge us or make us pay for anything we did not need.
The owner went out of his way to find the part the car needed and even went to another town to pick it up at no extra charge.
The in-laws picked us up on Saturday morning so we did not have to spend the weekend there and make it in town for the party in time. Fairfield Transmissions let us leave the car over night and pick it up on Sunday morning on our way back home with no absurd extra charges. I would most definitely recommend this repair shop to anyone who wants a fair and quick fix. The customer service was fantastic and everything was done in a timely manor.
