5 /5 G Brooks: After reading Google reviews, we took Greg a 2012 Escape for what turned out to be a relatively minor brake problem. From my perspective, the positive reviews are justified and this business basically defines competence. They had the car back to us on same day at a fair price and we will definitely return for any problem, large or small, should the need arise.

5 /5 García Ordaz Daniel (The Poet Mariachi): Spot-on diagnoses every time. This is NAPA certified mechanic shop with tons of experience. Trustworthy. p.s. There’s a similarity named place in town. This one I’m reviewing is on Bentsen Road in McAllen just north of 3-Mile Line. Not open on weekends. Best to make appointment, but they do have a locked gate should you need to leave your vehicle overnight. Highly recommend.

5 /5 Jackie Nicolls: I am in agreement with the review that labeled Greg as the best mechanic in the RGV! I have been going to Gregs for 6 years and have complete and total faith and confidence in him. He is honest, trustworthy and as so many have stated, a SUPER mechanic. I was in a rush and needed to get my car inspected for license renewal recently and went to a well known tire company nearby for the inspection. They inspected and passed it but said they had found a serious leak that could potentially cause a fire and needed to be taken care of very soon. They gave me a paper describing the problem and an estimate of $800. I went straight to Gregs and told him to do whatever he needed to do and left the vehicle. Went to pick it up the next day and he had taken care of everything(and telling me the problem was not nearly as serious as stated) at a cost of under $200! Thats what I mean when I say hes honest..he knows Id listen to and do anything he recommends. Another plus in going to Gregs is the friendly atmosphere. His wife, Shelly is in the office and always has a smile and a great personality. They are the BEST!!
