Sometimes as a woman in a guy domain it’s hard because they don’t take you serious or they assume girls don’t know cars…. BUT NOT HERE AT GULF COAST AUTO REPAIR!!! From the moment I made an appointment, to when I picked up the truck they were VERY professional, friendly and took the time to explain what needed to get done. I felt in real good hands. They didn’t do any unnecessary stuff on my vehicle, they didn’t try to sell me anything I don’t need! They called me and kept me in the loop about what’s happening! Just honest, hard working and very communicative people! As soon as you walk in the shop you feel like it’s family! They have great prices too! This is definitely our go to auto shop for the future! 5 /5 Vince Leaver: My AC went out in the middle of summer. I took it to Gulf Coast and they were busy but, they were friendly and accommodating. I dropped the car off after work on Wednesday and they called me the next afternoon with the diagnosis. Bad compressor, which is was what I thought when I took it to them. I gave the okay and they got it back to me Friday. Excellent turn around for the middle of summer. I will definitely trust them with my business in the future. Randy and the whole team were great, and very professional.

I reached out to the shop via text, needing some services done: a tune up to make sure Im good to go for an upcoming long distance trip, new spark plugs, a new timing belt, transfer case oil replaced, and possibly front diff replaced. Randy was not only able to get me a quote within a few minutes, but he also shared with me that my 4Runner has a timing chain, not a timing belt, that generally lasts the life of the engine. He was able to get me in the next day, did a through job on all the services I requested, and he let me know that my car also does not have front diff, only rear. He was able to get everything taken care of for me same day, and I was able to pick it up mid-afternoon. The price was reasonable, he was honest, and he never made me feel dumb for not knowing what my car has and doesnt have, nor did he take advantage of that lack of knowledge. We will definitely be back in the future and well be recommending his shop to our family and friends.
