5 /5 Allen Grubbs: Ive been going to Hair Beauty for years. (Im a guy.) A female friend recommended it years ago and since her hair always looked nice, I went with her. The owner, Tao, is great and so is her assistant, whose name I wont even try to spell. Both are Vietnamese. The work is swift but painstakingly detailed. Definitely get your hair washed after the cut--it comes with a mini-massage thats not to be missed.
For me, a sign of a good cut is how it grows out. My hair grows out wonderfully, unlike what happens when I have to run in for an emergency cut at SuperCuts.
Pricey? No! For my haircut and shampoo, the price is no more than 7 dollars. I always pay with a twenty and let them keep the change as a tip. A cut at SuperCuts w/out shampoo is 15 plus tip. What I get at Hair Beauty is worth every penny I spend.
Its not fancy at all, but what they do with hair makes up for the ambience of a fancier salon. As a bonus, you can watch Vietnamese television!
