Sarah Tessier We had a new AC installed just a compressor. It was not blown cold. We took our Car to Island tire. They promptly diagnose the problem. It had multiple problems. My wife also had to work in the evening. They let me have my car back each night for my wife. They worked around our schedule. My ac is blowing cold. .They were fantastic as usual.Well worth the peace of mind knowing its done right

Mr. Martinez UPDATE (05/06/25): Here is my most recent review, since I can’t add another review I am revising this previous one I had posted. Where to even begin, Mario has been nothing but truly professional along side with his wife and son. I have a 2019 Landrover discovery sport 2.0L that needed an alternator replaced I had all the parts already, I called another mechanic that was cool but. Could not do the work because of how intense it would be complicated in other words. I called another shop that was referred to me only to never get a call back, called another shop that wanted way way more than I could afford. I was giving up hope and as I’m looking to see who eles I can reach out to, I see this company and I gave Mario a late night text due to me working and right away he replied back and as busy as he was he still found time for me to come in. I ended up coming Monday (5/5/25) a day early to drop off car since I knew it wouldn’t be worked on until Tuesday as we agreed and I had to work today Tuesday not expecting to pick it up until Wednesday or at the end of the week. Well as soon as I arrived Mario introduced himself, actually took the time to sit with me and explain the logistics on how they work and how his view on cars in general are viewed as one not as the type of car it is!! Not only did Mario explain to me what the process would be but what to potentially expect on a worse case scenario as well, he was upfront with everything, labor, cost, difficulty level ect.. He even took the time yesterday (Monday)same day I was just dropping off the car so he could get started on it Tuesday but instead he began on it that same day which blew me away, I was pretty excited about this but nervous at the same time because the type of car it is, very needy. Anyways he even went out of his way to text me later that day to confirm with me like we spoke about in person that it will be a little more due to the complications of the vehicle itself in which I was very understanding. I was completely understanding of it and especially after they tried everything they could before having to resort to this. I know he’s being honest because I myself couldn’t even do the work and hearing it from a handful of mechanics that wouldn’t touch it or where going to charge way to much!! Mario had my car ready early this morning (05/06/25) to my surprise and everything working brand new again, his wife was just as awesome, sweet, and friendly when paying got the services she was just as informative as Mario! **** I CAN HONESTLY SAY I FOUND MY TRUSTWORTHY MECHANIC!! *** ***Just to be straightforward I have no connections to Mario or his family, this was my first time doing Buisness with him, and I am extremely satisfied with the work they did ! I will definitely be a repeat customer if anything comes up or if anyone is looking for someone they can trust !! *** ***So I don’t understand all the negative comments he has received previously because I had a whole different experience and I wouldn’t be wasting my time writing this review or my reputation or more importantly Mario’s reputation and his family!! I will make sure to recommend him to anyone looking for a honest, hardworking, truthful, very fair priced mechanic!*** *****Thank you again Mario to you and your family for the great experience and for getting my car working 100% again when nobody eles would touch it or over charge !! Andrea Ramirez I would highly recommend this company. I didn’t know what I was going to do because my mobile pet grooming trailer needed the lights fixed and I had work for the rest of the week. He was able to fit me in the owner and the technician were very nice And explained what I needed. You can tell the owner really loves his company and customers. I’m definitely going to be coming back in referring everybody. Very reasonably priced as well!

Sabrina Williams Im very pleased with the service I received. My fuel pump burned out and the mechanic worked with me, took me every step of the way and explained to me everything he was doing. He told me honest and fair prices about the parts and he found them for better pricing then buying outright the parts from the dealership themselves. They even accepted taking a part if we gave it to them to do our car and not many mechanics do that and like to take as much money as they can out of you. The day right after they received the part, the next day my vehicle was fixed! But it was an easy fix so everyones vehicle may have a different story. They are out there and not easy to find, but I always think the best mechanics are! Thank you so much for your honest service and always answering calls and staying in contact with me, some mechanics you have to call to see what status your car is at! I really appreciate everything and will be coming back if ever my vehicle needs servicing! Edit: The next day my car stopped working and I tried to jump start it without any luck. I called the owner and he offered to come out free of charge! He came and looked at my battery and readjusted it. I didnt use my vehicle for near a month and he figured out the battery has been misplaced. He didnt charge me anything and didnt ask for anything in return. Ive never had a mechanic work so well with me and make me feel secure I know my vehicle is in good hands. I cant thank this place enough!

Robert Lindefjeld This is an outstanding car repair shop. VERY reasonably priced and they genuinely care about their customers and the vehicles they drive. I was very impressed with their service and plan to use them exclusively going forward.

M K I recently brought in my car to have the brakes checked as a Jiffy Lube in corpus had told me that I was "metal on metal." Ted called me back to say that I was definitely NOT metal on metal but I would likely need to replace my brakes within the next 5k miles. I went ahead and got everything replaced with Vans as Ive always trusted them telling me like it is and NEVER trying to scam me into a purchase like these other large companies. Unfortunately, the next week my a/c went out and again I took it back to Vans. Ted and his team thoroughly checked my car to see what the primary issue was and got me back on the road with an a/c working quickly. These 2 services were not cheap, but I had no hesitation giving my money to Vans because Ive always believed they were giving good quality work & service. I would highly recommend taking your car to Vans for any services that your car may need. They treat you like family and that is hard to find in businesses nowadays.
