5 /5 Monique Karabach: Had a great experience trying out this salon - had a scalp treatment and blowout and they did a great job, but I really appreciated the kindness and positive energy in the salon. Its also very beautiful inside and they have tons of options to choose from!

5 /5 Lydia Hattrup: UPDATE (April 2019) - Jessica did permanent eyeliner (semi-permanent tattoo) on me, and I am IN LOVE!!! Im a mom and work from home, so I rarely put on makeup anymore but with the permanent eyeliner it looks like its always on! I love it - ready to do my lips next. The stylists at Janet St. Paul Studio really took the time to understand my lifestyle, preferences and help me choose a cut that would frame my face and highlight my features in the best possible way. It ends up I was parting my hair the wrong direction! This was also my first experience getting Balayage done, and I absolutely love how it turned out. The new salon downtown is also beautiful! What an amazing experience.

They’ve taken great care of me through hosting a lifestyle TV show, my wedding, Covid times and now as a mom of two littles. My hair journey has evolved from heavy highlights and extensions to balayage and now I’m in a phase of very manageable highlights and healthy, easy but still stylish “busy mom approved” hair. The team has always exceeded my expectations and visiting the salon is like a mini vacation for me. During my last visit I saw Carsen (she has been my stylist for about a year now) and Amy (experienced stylist who recently joined team JSP) Together they expertly tackled my highlights then Amy gave me the most relaxing shampoo and scalp massage and Carsen trimmed up my overdue ends. I left feeling photoshoot ready (but instead went home to make dinner for my family…with excellent hair!) I’ve always been impressed with everything offered at JSP but I wanted to share a little love today! I highly recommend Carsen and Amy as well as the rest of the team at my favorite “me-time” escape. I called Janet St.Paul salon the day before-- because they were close to the hotel where I was going to be staying. Laura took care of me-- she listened carefully and did the most wonderful light makeup. I didnt want to look like a mannequin! And a partial updo which was lovely. I highly recommend the Janet St. Paul salon in downtown Austin, and Laura in particular!
