5 /5 McKenzie Johns: My haircut from Shayla was amazing! Since moving back to Dallas, I’ve struggled to find a hair stylist I trust but now Shayla will be my go-to. Not only is she an incredibly talented stylist, but she was super easy to talk to. She listened to what I wanted, gave honest suggestions, and my hair looks amazing! It had been a year since I last cut my hair and I was super nervous after getting a terrible bob at different salon a year before. I’m growing out the bob and have really struggled with how to style my naturally wavy hair. Luckily, Shayla was able to shape it up and still maintain plenty of length. I honestly feel like myself again after my cut and my hair looks so much cuter. You definitely don’t have to worry about her getting “scissor happy” and chopping off inches and inches of your hair. She understands how to cut thick, wavy hair and knew how to handle my hair texture, which was a huge plus because my last stylist not understanding my hair is how I got a bob that was 6 inches shorter than what I asked for *cry*. My hair just looks and feels so amazing. Could not recommend enough.
Also wanted to mention that the salon itself was beautiful and the staff were helpful and friendly. Despite being a high-end salon they had deals and specials which was nice and unexpected. I got a free hair mask because my friend recommended me to the salon and also got 20% off my haircut since it was my first visit. The cut was so good I would have happily paid full price, but the surprise savings at the end were great too haha.
