5 /5 Akiko: 5/5 recommend. Haircuts have been a source of stress having dual textured hair (wavy in most, straight in certain areas, temperamental natural textures!). I just got my hair cut by Ruby who loves natural textures, and I felt extremely seen and validated and listened to as I was explaining my "hair spiel". Ruby clearly has a lot of experience working with wavy/curly textures, and I was confident in her work before/during/after my cut. On top of having great skill, I loved the shampoo and Rubys personality. Personally, time flew by super fast, and I really enjoyed my time. After living in Austin over a decade, I think I finally found my go-to haircut specialist, and I am very excited. And while not hair related, there is free street parking, youre walking distance from Lazarus if you want to eat something before or after, and they have free coffee/tea/water while you are there!

5 /5 Diana Guerra: Having Ruby fix my haircut (from another stylist from another salon) was great! She was very professional. Sat down with me and talked me through everything she was doing. She took the time to make sure everything was perfect. Her shampooing + massage were a huge plus (so good!!). Almost fell asleep. Will definitely go back to her. Highly recommend her.

It was my first time in to get a curly cut and she took such time and care to listen to my concerns and desires and walk me through every option available so I knew what to expect around every corner. She masterfully balanced a fun, social, get to know me conversation with explanations and demonstrations of what and why she was doing during cutting and styling. She also explained how I can replicate styling specifically on myself, and created a game plan for future maintenance and possible new styles. She is so knowledgeable about curly hair and I’m so happy to have found her!

5 /5 Melissa Schrank: Sophie was so nice to chat with and gentle with my hair. I loved the shampoo and blow dry too. She made sure my cut was exactly what I was going for and better! She kept my length while adding light layers and some face framing and also made my hair more balanced as it was much heavier in the back versus the front. I highly recommend :)

After my haircut, she worked her magic to give me the most beautiful blowout and curls. Sophie really went above and beyond to make sure my hair looked perfect for a wedding I was attending. She was incredibly thorough in her process, carefully applying products to keep my hair smooth, shiny, and voluminous. I especially appreciated that she used heat protectant each time she applied heat to my hair, making sure it stayed healthy throughout the styling. Sophie’s attention to detail was unmatched—she didn’t just style my hair for the event, she made sure it would last. My hair stayed flawless for two full days, even after dancing and being outdoors! I left the salon feeling great, if you’re looking for someone who puts in the extra effort to make sure your hair looks amazing and lasts, Sophie is the one to go to!
