5 /5 Marney Dzialo: If I could give them 10 stars, I would! The camper van that my husband and I were driving broke down an hour from Van Horn. The night was unseasonably cold and we were stranded on the side of the road in the pitch black. When other companies were closed or unavailable, Omar and Cora came to our rescue in the middle of the night. Despite getting called at 2 am, they arrived quickly and were incredibly kind. I stayed in the warm and comfortable cab with Cora, while my husband and Omar loaded the van onto the trailer. Omar had all the tools necessary to quickly and easily jump and load the van. Even at 3 in the morning, the hour-long drive back into town with Cora and Omar was full of laughter and story telling. We had the best time talking with them.
Once we got into town, they dropped us off at a nearby hotel where we could spend the rest of the night. The next day, Omar diagnosed the van; he and Cora were in constant communication with us and our rental company regarding the status of van. After determining the van was not repairable, he helped us figure out options for getting back to El Paso. Ultimately, Cora and Omars son picked us up at our hotel the next morning, drove us to their stop where they helped us pack our belongings and empty the van, and then drove us 2 hours to El Paso. The drive was safe, comfortable, and full of wonderful conversation.
We are so lucky and grateful to have worked with OC Triple I. At a time when we were vulnerable and there was a lot of uncertainty, we were so comforted by the professionalism and kindness that Omar and Cora showed us. They made us feel safe, validated our frustrations, and helped us problem solve. The best part is that we left with new friends and are looking forward to staying connected with them.
