5 /5 Brandell Flores: My grandmother was taken to Rice Medical due to a bone infection and needed IV antibiotics, wound care and PT. They suggested a "swing bed" in the hospital (skilled care/rehab) and my grandmother has been there for a month now to be discharged this week. I just want to say what an absolute blessing the administrator (Alethia Chapman), Dr. Thomas, PA Jen, and staff (nurses, aides, therapists so many to mention) have been in caring for my grandmother. Each person responsible for my grandmothers care has been so wonderful and kind to her and our family. I have so much gratitude for the care she has received at Rice. Trust me, we have been to many rehab facilities over the years and they are head and shoulders above any of them that weve encountered. Not to mention, they just renovated a wing of the hospital specifically for rehab patients and the rooms are gorgeous. If you need skilled care/rehab for your loved one, this is the place to go. Thank you to everyone at Rice responsible for my grandmothers care. You are all the best of the best!
