Pain Care Physicians - san marcos

JPLP Dr. Carroll is truly the best! He actually listens and has reviewed your history before your visit so hes up to speed. Hes patient and explains everything. I do wish I didnt have to travel to Austin for the procedures, but I guess once a year isnt so bad.

LA Pearlie I was surprised by the 40 page "privacy policy", when I was checking in for my procedure today. When the check in screen basically said I had seen it and initial here, I asked for the policy, so I could actually read it. When the intake person started huffing behind her mask, I was concerned. When I started reading and asked for the opt out, I was told you sign or not, no opt out. Use of my information, by-product of any testing and any other personally identifiable information without an option is not a "privacy policy" its a "youre giving up all your privacy" sign here. The infuriating part is that they make you pay in advance! Could be months before I see a refund. I abhore large corporate hospital systems with broad brush policies that hamstring patients into thinking yes is the only answer! If more of us said NO theyd have to change. Im going to have to check with my insurance company for another source. This is a HUGE NO for me!!

Michael Blair, DO

Jim Allen Im a Veteran and usually go to the Veterans Clinic in Austin for an Ear, Nose and Throat Doctor, but the Doctor at the VA Clinic retired so the VA sent me to the closes doctor to me since I live in Wimberley. The Doctors office is in the Christus Trinity Clinic which is a little hard to find. The address is 1340 Wonder World Dr but you cant enter from there. I had to turn at the Sadler light and then turn into the parking area. Always a little scary going to a new clinic and Doctor but the staff is really friendly and helpful. I needed a little special attention since I was coming from the VA but the staff took care of everything. Dr Blair is warm and friendly as well as very knowledgeable. The VA didnt send him any of my records so he had to start from scratch, which didnt seem to brother him. Im happy it worked out because Im recovering from throat cancer and will have to be going to him for observation of my throat for several years.

Jennifer Marr-Cravey Dr. Pearce was very thorough & listens to my issues, concerns, & answered my questions. It’s so hard to find a Dr. with a good bedside manner, but he is very thoughtful and caring and goes out of his way for his patients. He made sure I understood everything that we were doing, why we were choosing that treatment & what the next steps would be if that didn’t work. I’ve had so many terrible experiences, that I was pleasantly surprised to find him.

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Kyle

Billy Moore Anthony was great and Chuck as well. All the therapists were great and helpful. Nursing was good except I experienced some issues with responsiveness but it was usually because I seemed to always need help during the morning transition from the night shift to the day shift because of the nurses needing to do their change overs. Really a very good group of people in all positions from the top to bottom. The one thing I would suggest is a way to page for help more than once, due to the button not working again after the initial request. Especially when you are needing to get to the restroom.
