My husband and I were traveling out of town for a weekend birthday trip when our car started shaking and blinking the check engine light. We were traveling from the valley to Wimberley, and we seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. We tried 3 different mechanic shops. One was unable to help us until Monday and 2 did not answer the phone and were closed even though their Google hours said open. Finally we called South Texas Automotive Repair Shop and Javier picked up the phone right away. We explained the symptoms and he quickly explained what the problem could be and what the starting price would be and he invited us to stop by. The waiting room was very nice and cozy and we were offered water and snacks right away. Throughout the entire process, Javier made sure we were fully aware of what his team was doing with our vehicle and how he would work with us for the price. He was very professional, honest, and informational! We probably would have ended up on the side of the road if it wasnt for this shop. Overall, we were very impressed with our results!! If youre nearby with car problems, please head straight to South Texas Automotive Repair Shop and save your time, money, and peace of mind. 5 /5 Brian Johnson: When its time to check that noise, smell, or upgrade the suspension to tow safer, this will be your last stop. Its not the first person in life to effect change, its your last dealings. The guys here are upbeat, care and put in the effort to look on the other side of that bolt. Look past that mud and see if the line is ok. I recommend asking around town, then visit. Easy to get to just off Ditto rd as you come into Poteet. This makes it convenient to drop off your vehicals going into work, then pick it up on the way home. Id expect this company will soon expand as word gets out.

5 /5 Toria Vlogs: I’ve went to South Texas Automotive on two different occasions this year and Javier was did an amazing job. He did a tube up on my truck and also fixed my break job for me. No complaints but highly recommend if you’re in need of professional mechanic work. His wife was also sweet enough to drop me off at home and pick me up after while he worked on my vehicle. 5 /5 P. K.: My husband and I used this shop for our Malibu when after taking it to ramos and a shop in lemming. None of them could tell us what was wrong or even fix it. After 6 months of not being able to use our car we took it here. They fixed it fast and havent had an issue since! From then on weve taken all our vehicles here. Our silverado was in non driving condition and now its perfect. We would 100% recommend this shop.
