Patient with those of us less Knowledgeable about vehicles. No bamboozlement here. Highly recommend. My "go-to" place for oil changes. UPDATE: after going here for this reviewed oil change...my hub and I went from Leakey TX to Rosharon TX. 6+hrs trip. We kept hearing a scraping noise on the trip up, but it was raining so we chalked it up to "wet gravel". On the way home, in Rosharon proper, the noise continued and got much worse. Hub crawled under car and found the oil pan holding on for life with 1 screw! Needless to say, all employees claimed "innocence" and said my car only had 1 screw when brought it in...REALLY??? This establishment was THE ONLY place Ive EVER taken my 3 yrs old car. I had NEVER been informed that my oil pan had 1 screw??? SERIOUSLY?? We couldve kept driving. A spark couldve ignited and burnt us to smitherings! NOT COOL folks. Done with place!!!!!

Irma Schelsteder Recently had front control arm break on my vehicle. Had towed to Balsers after hours. This was right before Christmas. They were able to get parts, repair & get back to me in a week. Price was very reasonable. They also kept me updated on progress. Definitely recommend Balsers for your auto repair needs.

Chris Morrow I’m not one to typically leave reviews, but I had to for this place. My check engine light came on, and that same day, I called around but nobody could get me in until the end of the week. Not only were they able to fit me in within a few hours, but their diagnostic fee was far lower than the four other places I had called. When I dropped my car off, everyone was very helpful and professional. After diagnosing the issue, I did some research online to better understand the problem, and the price they quoted me was significantly less than what I saw others were charging for the same repair. When I got my car back, it honestly felt like driving a different car. This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a mechanic. I’ll definitely be using them again if needed.
