Rachel Ibanez I came into this hospital to discuss possible fibroids. I was recommended Dimitrievich, Elizabeth, M.D. The first interaction I asked for an ultrasound or IUD replacement. She did an external abdominal exam and said I was fine but booked an IUD insertion. When the day came I waited from 2:30-5 (standard). When she saw me I asked for the transvaginal ultrasound again she said it was shocking I knew those terms. Offered another external abdominal exam, I said she didnt find anything last time. She said I was springing this on her. She still made the request.
Going into the IUD insertion I asked for numbing. She said that didnt exist and it wouldnt hurt. I told her Ive experienced this procedure before, but she dismissed me and said it wouldnt work. I said I still wanted it. She clapped her hands and said it was time to begin. The process was extremely painful.
Afterwards she asked if I had taken ibuprofen before. I said no. She said, "that was stupid". I told her I how long I waited and it probably would have worn off.
Never going back.
