5 /5 Briana Baker: Originally took my car to local Chevy dealership to get my transmission checked out, and they came back two days later saying my transmission was shot and that there was metal shavings all in the fluids. The dealership wanted to charge me $7,500 for a new one so I decided to take it to USA Transmission to get a second opinion. After a day of having it they found out that my car was 2 quarts low on fluids and that there was no noticeable signs that the dealership had checked my fluids/transmission to begin with. Just to be sure that everything was correct USA Transmission did a complete full service on my transmission, and after refilling all of the fluids and replacing the filter, which had zero metal shaving in it, my car runs like a dream.
In the end USA Transmission couldve easily tried to sell me a new transmission/rebuild for a cheaper price knowing that I already had it diagnosed by the dealership, and I wouldnt have know any better. Instead they were honest in their diagnoses, which saved my thousands of dollars and a lot of headaches. So, in my opinion USA Transmission is one of the few honest mechanics left, and I will continue giving them my business in the future.
