Top Rated 13 University in Stephenville, TX - A Smart Choice for the Future

Gutierrez Amy I recently went on an AVID trip to this campus. One, not only does the campus seem less lively than others, but its not as decorative as I thought it would be. The history lessons were great, but if you like driving around your university, TARLETON IS A NO DRIVING CAMPUS! But, overall, good guide and tour.

Kenny Harder I strongly dislike this school. I wish I could give it a zero for my experience so far. Every semester I consider dropping out and transferring to a another uni because of how terrible it is(I probably should at this point). The professors are okay but good lord I learned about how little they make and it is extremely unfair. The tarleton website is god awful. I feel like the rinky dinky websites I surfed on in elementary school in the late 2000s ran better than this. The admins seem to hate everyone. I always get weird glances and bad attitude whenever I have problems which is always. I had my recent advising meeting cancelled because the advisor assumed I didnt want to meet for some reason. Just gave me recs for classes I should take even though I had so many questions other than what classes I need to take. I feel like I pay so much and nothing ever gets done. The year I moved here, people complained about lack of parking and housing so what does Tarleton do? Break ground on some event center... cuz they care more about money than actually retaining students. I keep hearing about new dorms being built but where? Theres no space for expanision unless they plan on buying up properties like my apartment where lots of students live to get it done Dont even get me started on this podunk town either. Ive never met such awfully mannered, self centered people before in my life. If you arent from here or dont like putting up with sleepless nights full of partying teens and race cars and 1 ton trucks going up and down your street, find another uni.

Ever Ibarra I moved out and left my bedroom spotless. I vacuumed and took out all the trash and left nothing in my room. The bathroom had leaks from the air vents to the point where we had dirty water come out of it. My roommates and i would constantly put in work orders but nothing would be done about it. Now that i have been out of that place for more than 3 months, they send me a bill saying that i owe them money for cleaning my bedroom and bathroom. this place is terrible and i would highly recommend people find elsewhere to live. Management thinks that by offering free food, everything is well but this place is god awful.

Taylor Welch I am a new resident and I am already loving this community because the staff are extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They are always willing to help and do whatever they can to make sure you enjoy your new home. The living arrangements are well-kept and there is plenty of entertainment such as the pool and gym to turn the home you enjoy into a community you love.

Megan Lewis Bosque Crossing has amazing features such as the pool, workout center, game room, media room. So far I do not have any complaints nor any issues. The location is really close to campus which helps my gas money a ton. The main lounge area is also really nice in decor. Ready to take on this semester while living here at Bosque.

Bailey fillmon If you want to be treated like an incompetent idiot, speak to Evonne Cherry in the business office. You ask for help, she tells you to just read the handbook... that’s 101 pages... with no reference of where to check to make sure she isn’t lying like she has to us before. I attended South Plains College & Tarleton and have NEVER dealt with an office so unprofessional when it comes to someone’s education. She is on a power trip and needs to be taken down a notch.

Caitlin Grant I went in to ask about how I can get enrolled and registered to take classes & the ladies in the office were so rude that I decided just to go to Weatherford College instead. They were much more interested in their own conversation than they were about helping me. I waited 15 minutes for them to finish their conversation about their personal life before they called me over. And then they told me I had to sign in and wait again. You would think they would be less rude since I was willing to give them money and just wanted information on how to do it. I would recommend Weatherford College over Ranger. Their staff is always extremely fast and friendly.

Jessica Warren Got a great cut & pedicure by Jaycee & Grace! Inexpensive way to spend a girls day out! They do more than just cut hair. And the prices really can’t be beat. Yes they are students so keep your expectations in check. But it’s so fun to watch them learn and be willing to try new things!!

Rhonda H The building isnt anything special but the care from the advisors and professors is. I had a great online experience earning my MSHRM. The photos are of the campus.

Brock Goodrich I gave it that rating for it seems to lag in its moderness. The foyers wall are inland with wall of historic wood. It lacks natural light. I can see why natural night can truly change the mood. Most of the windows are professors and facultys offices and the the inside are reserved for class sessions.

Fil I would like to thank the officer who was so kind to my daughter last night (12/2) at Whataburger. She got her car stuck on a boulder and he stayed with her until the tow truck got the vehicle moved safely and then gave her a ride to her dorm. I can never say enough great things about our officers putting themselves day in and day out in the line duty for our safety. As a father, I’m always thinking of my daughter’s safety and am comforted knowing we have such a great police office on the team patrolling and keeping our students safe. Thank you!!!!
