B V Very beautiful campus, but the parking here is awful! Everything is reserved. Visitor lots are not easy to find and when you do find lot it’s like $10 plus an hour. The parking meters are expensive too. They only allow you to park for three hours. For any event, especially sport related events parking is $20-$60. There is not enough security for football games.

Estee Tobias The soccer fields are in good condition. Spacious location. The concession stand has a good variation of food. With the additional parking created, its not as crazy as it used to be, thank goodness. Now, the only downer is the restrooms. There are only three stalls in the womens restroom, and expect to wait in line. You might miss a good 15 minutes of a game waiting to use the restroom.

Jhy Ness dont understand why the College, a well-respected institution in Dallas, does not thoroughly investigate the quality of teaching professors who teach us. One professor, in particular, has not taught us anything during the entire spring term. She frequently skips classes, and on the days we do have class, we hesitate to ask questions because she often appears angry. This creates a tense atmosphere in the classroom. Additionally, we have submitted numerous assignments and homework since January, but we have not received any corrections or feedback, and the term is now coming to an end in May. On the last day of class, she didnt even show up. The only communication we receive from her is a brief message “no class “ She don’t care or asking if we have submitted our homework or if there are any mistakes to address, or to fixing. It’s concerning that such professors can impact our education and future. We dont want to fail a semester due to a lack of engagement from an instructor. I regret that my experience in this English class has been so negative. In my previous English classes at the College, I had excellent professors who motivated us and provided valuable feedback on our assignments. I urge the College to address this issue and choose instructors more carefully to prevent similar situations in the future. Thank you.

Jenniffer Montoya I love my college! It has beautiful views, a well-equipped library, and the staff in admissions and financial aid are incredibly kind and helpful. I have no complaints—I truly enjoyed my time studying there. If youre planning to take math classes, I highly recommend Doreen Roberts and Saeid Darabadey. They are both amazing professors whom I remember with great fondness.

Aliote Makemte What is the need of having a number when you refuse to pick it up when it rings? For more than 2weeks I have been trying to reach the admission office to no avail. The phone keeps ringing and nobody is picking up. Why put up phone numbers when you all know you wont pick up. Its frustrating.

Adrianna Williamson Over the phone I was told by staff that the food pantry is open to community members. When I went I was turned away. The website makes it seem like El Centro campus participates in food pantry community days but if this is incorrect it needs to be updated. Wasting the time of needy community members is very inconsiderate. Edit to respond to response: I would like to ask you to consider the point of community access to the El Centro campus food pantry. I understand that limiting access likely comes from a standpoint of "security concern", but creating barriers to access because vulnerable people can be volatile is not the humane answer. They deserve to access resources that are conveniently located in downtown. Personally the difference between accessible and not accessible can be as small as having to go to a different location. Disability accessibility requires understanding of how much more judicial disabled people have to be with allocating their energy. Many people are unable to utilize the resources that are supposedly available to them because of barriers like transportation, funds, and worst of all, dispassionate policy choices. Being a resource that is so limited and high demand is obviously not easy but when people rely on you, it is your responsibility to provide accessibility. This critique is not from a place of anger but to foster critical thinking about the choice to make accessing food harder for vulnerable community members and its consequences.

I need HELP and they never want to assist. Always try to make me do things by myself when I express many times I need help. Because of that I was late to registering classes. Needed online and only in person was available. Also they never want to contact you back. You make an appointment and they no show. Unprofessional. Why even sign up for the job?

Charmaine Ward AZN was meant to be for me. From beginning to end I was greeted with a smile and attentiveness. My advisor Ms.Adrienne was welcoming, supportive and provided me with confirmation after confirmation throughout my enrollment process. On my first day she cheered me on and walked me through what to expect and ensured I was well prepared for classes. During my enrollment process Ms. Adrienne kept me informed of what was needed from me and got me taken care of with ease. If you’re looking into AZN, come join the family! The campus is amazing and they truly care about their students through and through.

Michaela Collins I am currently a core student. I do see the positive reviews however they are from either potential students who did the tour and worked with advisors, or Gen Ed students. Let me just say, that this semester has been a rollercoaster. First the lack of teachers. The turnover rate with faculty is very high at this campus and I don’t know why. However I do notice that it has been GREAT instructors who leave. Semester 6 has been very challenging . It is very difficult to retain information. You go into lecture and you speak on certain issues you’re having and instead of helping sometimes teachers become defensive. The dean does try however it’s only so much she can do. Some students are failing due to the lack of support from faculty. It’s very disorganized and none of the instructors seem to be on the same page AT ALL. Secondly building maintenence issues and car break ins. The campus is located in north Dallas so I will let that speak for itself. It seems that only our cars were being broken into and no other cars since it’s sever all offices in addition to the school This program is VERY expensive. So the concerns addressed are very valid. We have a sim lab that does not provide enough supplies for simulations and mannequins hardly work. My suggestion would be to listen to those of us in core if you want an honest opinion regarding . PARTICULARLY this campus. Other campuses are thriving and very identical to that of WCU in relation to the resources along with support from the faculty. Almost 4 students in my cohort have transferred to WCU. I saw a comment before mine state that this is one of the worst programs to enter into. If we are being honest that’s a bit embarrassing. I wish everyone the best in their journey but please do research prior to entering any program. To have these kinds of issues PLUS deal with the stress of nursing school is very difficult BUT we do make it work. We just simply have to teach ourselves this content.

Rico Truss FYI & PSA DBU does not allow any visitors after 11pm. And I quote, "especially not the opposite sex" says the security guard with a slight stank, judgy attitude. I let him know I was invited to watch an intramural game by a friend and the game started at 11pm. He looked at me in disbelief. I started to tell him about me leading the life group my friend is in at my church and me being marrie-- but with his posture I assumed he was going to shape whatever I said with that same presumptuous attitude he led with. I believe hes just doing his job; to which I would say-- do it without assuming everyone is up to mischief.

Destiny Ledbetter I attended DBU from 2010-2014 and graduated with a B.B.A in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. The only regret I have is not choosing to do the fast track program where you can get your Bachelors and Masters in 5 years. My time at DBU completely changed my life for the better. The professors there are amazing and genuinely care about their students. I still remain friends with some of my professors to this day. The atmosphere in general is really uplifting and so positive. I was in a sorority during my time at DBU and fostered many friendships, some of them lifelong. If I could go back and do it all over again I would. I also participated in the Discipleship Program (highly recommended) for two years and had the most amazing mentor who completely changed my life. DBU really is an amazing school filled with countless opportunities and countless ways to build community with other students. DBU is big on getting the students connected, not only with each other but with the Lord and the community as well.

TJ Zakari Graduated from this school ! I am an advocate for HBCU’s. However, the quality of education you’re going to get, you may as well educate yourself! Because it’s FREE. Upon graduation day class of 2022 students who graduated didn’t receive the FLOWERS that I believed they should’ve. Instead they talked about all of the STAFF members… as if we didn’t pour thousands into the pockets of Paul Quinn, with our student loan in which we are still paying back. The day of graduation Prez made a statement that said “All graduates of Paul Quinn College, Class of 2022 will receive a $2,500 mutual with JPM (JP Mortgage) that we wouldn’t be able to touch for 10 Years!” We were supposed to all receive an email about how to access that mutual fund. And it has been 2 years, going on 3 since we’ve heard from the school about our $2,500, which I could’ve been contributing towards the mutual fund. I just feel as if it was a SLAP in the face, especially for someone like me and all the other students who contributed as a whole to help Paul Quinn grow into what it is today. From the new buildings, to the electricity bill, all the way down to the unnecessary 1.5 Hour Dart/Bus Trains we had to take just to make it to SCHOOL. We deserve IMMEDIATE ANSWERS.

Sheena Meany Was able to attend first semester with no issues. On my second semester, my account was blocked due to a transcript missing (which I had sent before my first semester when I had initially registered) so I sent my transcripts again. Still blocked. Called admissions multiple times only for them to only unblock my account after the admissions deadline, but they told me I could still register with advising. I contact advising and they tell me I cant register because I "missed" the deadline. So now I have to miss a semester all because of their own incompetence. Their support is terrible!

Tsuki Gurung The management here is honestly really disappointing. Every time I try to book an appointment with the DSO, I don’t get proper guidance. As an international student, we need support—someone to guide us, because we don’t have anyone else here to help. Updating the college isn’t just about keeping our visa status; it’s also about staying on track with our studies and career goals. On top of that, the wait times are always way longer than what they show on the display. It’s so time-consuming, and it feels like they don’t value students’ time at all. We have assignments, classes, and a lot of responsibilities, but they act like our time doesn’t matter. Maybe they have too many international students and are just focused on the money, but this isn’t the first time this has happened to me—it’s been a repeated issue. If you’re thinking about choosing this college, I’d really recommend looking for a better one. You don’t want to deal with the same struggle I’m facing.

Rachel B I applied to this school but all Ive discovered is how disorganized and lazy they are. I reached out to the teachers over the program I wanted to take. They sent me an email to talk to a counselor. I reached out to the counselor email and was told to schedule an appointment. When I applied, I called the number to ask for help and she didnt know what I was supposed to select for the certification. Told me to submit a ticket to have them fix it so I did. I get an email saying it was completed but I have no idea what exactly they did because the email didnt say. Was sent a "youre accepted" email with a bunch of links to click on. I tried repeatedly. It wouldnt let me reset my password and then when I did, the system didnt recognize it. I have two degrees with my Masters being done entirely online. Why on earth is their system so ridiculously disorganized and what is with being able to talk with someone??? All I can conclude is you get what you pay for which in this case, is absolutely nothing. I wouldnt recommend this school at all. I cant even imagine what hell would await me taking actual classes!

Dalton Miller Here is my honest review. I graduated from Remingtons Garland location in 2019. I went to school four days a week and attended evening classes as I work a full time job. I loved my instructors. They were eager to help and assist in any way possible and also offered sincere compassion for me and my life. That being said, I loved it. However, this school is Nationally accredited but not Regionally. What that means is, when you complete your degree and try to attend a 4 year University to in an attempt to finish, what you will find is that most universities do not accept most of your credits. I was accepted to DBU and they accepted 15 out of the 60 credits that I had earned. To compare, thats 1 semester out of 4. Texas A&M University at Commerce accepts most of them. They accepted 45/60 for me. With my tuition, I received books for my in person classes. I did not for the online classes. A few classmates and I went in and bought the books for everyone. My cap and gown were also included in that cost. As Ive already stated, I loved my instructors. They really wanted to see us succeed in our chosen fields. I graduated after a year and a half with honors and two acceptance letters. I hope this review helps anyone that is considering going to Remington College.

When I first joined They told me that if I get a 4.0 GPA, make the presidents list and the Dean’s list that I would be EXEMPT from having to pay back the tuition. I go to school, I retrieved exactly what the admissions director stated on the day of my walk through. I am now 15k, in debt. I was also lied to that my credits would transfer to a 4 year university. I was lied to about getting my associates degree. Please don’t get conned here.

The website and blackboard works maybe 3 out of 5 times which is inconvenient, especially when assignments need to be turned in. The school and professors itself are great. Community is fantastic and the events that are hosted are always fun, Cafeteria is meh... could improve the salad bar or incorporate more healthy choices and UPDATE the posted hours! Please! T J The tuition is dirt cheap, but UNTD is every students worst nightmare. This school sucks. Theyre always late responding to your emails if you need help with something. They NEVER answer the phones no matter what time you call. Today (Friday) I tried calling the registrars office over 6 times, within 2 hours and nobody answered the phone. They have the most incompetent students and staff working in these offices. Who are always screwing up students information, registration, financial aid info, etc. The staff lazy, theyll literally ask to you resend documents over and over again instead of doing theyre jobs first and checking to see if you already have that form on file. This school has been the worst college experience for me. I was considering going for my masters at UNTD since its relatively cheap. However, Ive reconsidered due to how much drama I have to go throw with these people on a regular basis in the past 3 years. They literally just want your money and they dont care about anything else you have to deal with. Ive written the dean so many emails describing the things Ive went through and never recieved a response back. If you want my HONEST advice/opinion keep looking!! DO NOT settle for UNTD just because theyre a little less costly. Consider all your options! Check out UTA in arlington!!!

Daniel Rose So many issues with this university; from financial aid to registration was a headache and felt like pulling teeth just to get things going for registration and financial aid. No one answers their phone despite calling throughout the day, emails are a hit or miss as well. Campus doesn’t really have much to offer which is understandable at first (cheaper tuition) but it looks so barren and little to no activities to do on campus. Maybe it’s because it’s still growing whatever the case it’s a major downgrade from UTA. It’s affordable, but not worth the inconvenience when you are trying to get important information submitted especially financial aid. This university is a joke! If affordability is your main concern I would choose this institution as a last resort. Too stressful!

I even chuckled until I realized this was the actual contact for psychology. Uh...NOT THE SCHOOL FOR ME! I had a thought, maybe its because of my race or age. Because I could not prove that narrative I immediately changed my thought. If she cant provide me some assistance,I can only imagine what support system they have for both the students and or teachers. Fact is! If this advisor represents the face of the school its to be expected that the staff and school would be the same. This is the reason I believe this school is not for me. While other students (of a lighter shade) were allowed library or office work, my sister and I were given bathroom and cleaning duties. We were also not allowed lunch breaks during our volunteering. We were often being talked to in a condescending way. I can never stand by an institution that can be so cruel. How I wish I could go back and tell myself to find something else for volunteer credit. I hope the local high schools have gotten rid of the volunteering requirement because they do not deserve the help. Criswell would be ashamed this school is still under his name.

Haleigh Bramer Honestly if you want to go to a school and learn some fun things about the bible Criswell is the place for you. Their teaching staff is knowledgeable and friendly. If you are trying to get a degree within a reasonable amount of time consider somewhere else. With little to no online classes offered, a small staff, and few classes available Criswell makes it very difficult to graduate. I am currently seeing how many credits will transfer to another school after finding out that Criswell will not except 23 of their own credit hours. I got married and had two babies so I took three years off. They will not accept some classes that were required under the last president. I left needing 9hrs to graduate and now I have 30 and there is nothing I can do about it. Big waist of time and money.

Adria Gaston Criswell College is an amazing community with overwhelming, strong, sound biblical teaching. The staff are gracious and a joy. The professors are a rare breed of godly men, who are passionate and well knowledgeable in their particular fields. I am pursuing my BA in Bibilical Studies with a minor in Humanities. Im currently in my second semester and the school has changed my life and afforded me so many opportunities to pursue and be an impact on Jesus ministry. I would recommend this school to all who are looking for a focused, intrense study of the bible and other areas that will make an impact on the ministry.
