Vanik G I got admitted to the MFA(Art) degree program as an international student, and Dr. Grewal, the Exec. VP for Research, Grad Studies and New Program Development, offered me a generous Graduate Assistantship, as a part of the Presidential Graduate Research Assistantship offer from Spring 2021. Unfortunately, due to the spike in covid cases, deaths and immigration issues, I had to drop my UTRGV plan and continue my graduate education in my home country. But Ill never forget the people who are constantly working for providing the best student support, even during these testing times. Thank you, and god bless us all.
