i x Academic advising WILL NOT answer the phone under any circumstances. They just won’t do it. Good luck getting anything organized without their help. This entire school is a dumpster fire.

Arulmani Rajendran Very nice campus, well maintained. Surprisingly busy for a CC, but thats probably because there is such a variety of classes and courses offered, even for local high schoolers. A good investment of time and money for eager learners who want to economize on higher education!

Daniel Chalmers Convenient location if you live nearby. Nice campus and still growing. Smart teachers with cheap tuition.

Eric Coronado Ive attended ACC, Southwestern University, Texas Southern, and Texas State University. Texas State is by far the most impersonal, inflexible of them all. If you have any kind of issue, just know that youll be met with a machine-like resistance to any compromise. Students are treated with a general lack of compassion. Perhaps theyve grown too much, too fast, but this is not a place of understanding. As a military vet, their VA office is horrible at communicating. You would be much better off at any of the other places Ive mentioned, as they actually care about helping non-traditional students succeed. Texas State treated me like a burden, and left me feeling hopeless and owing money in the end because of their ineptitude. Do not be fooled. It is *all* about the money with this institution.

Sarah Millard Lanahan Great school and love the new location. Parking is reasonable for a college campus if you show up about 45 minutes before class starts.

truth betold Your program for EMT learning through EMTS academy is totally bogus. i spent $4000 only to be dropped from a course that claims they do not validate their exams until after students take them? how is this legal?

Scott James This school has great classes and programs to chose from, however the financial aid department is pretty much worthless... You never get your aid when youre supposed to, and when you inquire within the department about it, all you get is the run around... you should have it by this day... well its should be this day actually... well its out of our hands now... blah blah blah... every quarter. And every quarter they get a new "system" which gives them excuses for not having answers about your funds... its a joke dealing with the staff of this university.

Brandy McCool If I could give lower I would, zero student focus. Nit Veteran Friendly, if you tell them your not coming back they backdate your enrollment and you wind up owing back all the BAH and get your future VA benefits denied. This school should not be in business, they have a higher staff turnover than a daycare. Already filed a complaint with the VA and Central Texas Education. Dont waste your money!!!

Chris Tijerina After calling three times on different days, and still no response, no call back, Ive left messages. Im thinking why would I pay $56,000 when Austin Community College offers the exact same associates of science and a certificate for less than $6,000 for total upfront costs; including books and software and labs lab coats lab equipment. Makes my decision a hell of a lot easier, oh and Austin Community College has always answered or returned my phone call my if they hadnt answered the phone. Simply put they work harder for less.
