Justice Taafe I got a full acrylic set manicure as well as a regular pedicure at this nail salon for the first time today. I typically get my nails done at a different salon, but since they were booked out I decided to give Kitsap Nails a try. I really enjoyed how nice the staff is and I appreciated their kindness. As far as my nails, I asked for a short almond shape and I left with long, pointy stiletto style nails. This is not my style at all and I asked for them to be shorter and rounded. The nail tech tried, but she did not understand what I was asking. Since I have kids, this shape makes my daily life a bit more difficult. I also got a pedicure, which I really enjoyed! If you are getting a gel pedicure, make sure you add an additional $15 onto any pedicure package that you choose since that is the up charge for gel polish. Overall, the environment and staff were nice, but the quality of my nails was not what I expected at all. I would bring in a photo to reference the shape that you are looking for to make sure you leave with nails you like. The first two photos are my nails from this visit and the other photo is what I typically receive from other nail salons when I ask for an almond shape.

Valerie Hopper I made a reservation to have my disabled mom and sister to have their nails done. One was a full set the other a fill and change of color. The point of the reservation was for them to have the spa experience. Both getting there nails done at the same time and being able to visit while being catered to. That was not the case. They had one person Going back and forth between them and a third person. We were there for more then 2 hours. They don’t understand English very well so after figuring out what we wanted it came to 113.00. Never going back there ever. I didn’t see prices on the walls like other salons. I believe I was over charged. My receipt was not itemized.

Leiker David (Shastadad) Did not have an appointment yet they were able to take me in for a pedicure. As an older gentleman it has become impossible for me to take care of my feet, its not a vanity thing just impossible to bend down and do it myself The nail technician was friendly and professional and I could tell she knew what she was doing. I was happy with the results Have been coming to this establishment since I moved to Bremerton and they were half the size that they are now. I am not surprised at their success since they give the same excellent service as they did back then

holly hogan The employees are so sweet and friendly! I got a pedicure (amazing) and a dip manicure here today, and Im not impressed with the manicure. Im not sure if I just being too critical or if my expectations were too high. Ive attached pictures to the review. I feel like the powder is too thick and she wasnt able to clean my nails up when she was done (I asked and she tried). I came here a few months ago and had a perfect experience. Maybe today was an off day but...but an expensive off day. Edit: I took a good look at my pedicure and thats messed up too. I went back in and asked them to fix my nails, Ive added pictures of the fix....they thinned the powder down, but my nails still look bulky and clunky. Still didnt clean them up like I asked a few times. They told me to next time: let my nail grow longer (I keep my nails short for work and school) and to tell them I want them thin. Also when they do the dip powder, they dip your whole finger in the jar....which I guess isnt the most sanitary way to do that. Ill be finding another salon!

Cassie Hodosky I always go with a photo of what I want for my nails and they always nail it! Pedicures are always lovely too! Me and my three daughters go here and have been for almost two years. Wont go anywhere else in this area! This pic is two weeks after my nail service! All nails are still on point!

Bethann Harrison This business is absolutely amazing. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and does their very best to provide you with your vision, color and style… I’ve many times asked them to “ surprise “ me and it’s been so much fun! I get “ stuck” doing the same colors and it’s fun to try something different and new!

Miranda Blowers Horrible experience, went in with my bestfriend and her girlfriend. They broke one of my toe nails, cut them short after I said no cut, i also have multiple toes where theres nail polish not on the whole nail. My finger nails look horrible I got a gel color with black tips part of my nails are missing black tip in the corners, she also left old color on the nail and painted clear over it so you can see it. Never again.

Becky House This is my go to place for manicures, pedicures and eye/face waxes. They all do a great job. My favorite person there is Hannah. She will tell you what you DONT want to hear about your nails/skin and always does a beautiful job on all of her services. Before her, I hated having my lip and chin waxed. She is amazing - it doesnt even hurt!

Anneliese Larsen Tina did an amazing job on my pedicure, took extra time to make sure I was pleased with the artwork. When I expressed my concerns over the last few places cutting into my skin during pedicures, Tina slowed down and took time to make sure the pedicure was done right, without injury! Everyone was so friendly, I will definitely be returning!

Olivia Carley Cassie always goes above and beyond and today was no different! She squeezed us in last minute at the very end of the day and stayed late to give my friend and I the most beautiful christmas nails! I’m so grateful, Cassie and Tina truly NEVER disappoint! They freehand designs that I’ve only ever seen on stickers. Such passion in their work!

Mackenzie Campbell I went in to get my acrylics soaked off on 6/21, and unfortunately left with the nails still on. After sitting in the chair for 45 minutes, the lady who was doing them, wasn’t able to get them off all the way and ended up filing them down all in different shapes/thickness. So now I still have acrylic on my nails, and my nails look awful. This is my second bad experience here. Super disappointed. In the last picture, you can see where the acrylic has chipped off and where my real nail is. If you can’t soak my nails off, I’d rather just know and go somewhere else.

Yuri Oropel It was my first time in this place on 10/08/2024. Tech did a good job with my nails. They were perfect, they were even, no sharp sides, every detail on the nail is perfect but it was painful experience. When she removed my acrylic she hurt me many times. It was also my first time experiencing getting my own nails filed after she just glued the nail extension. Obviously it hurt when she was filing because my nail was already thin to begin with. Ive never seen any tech in my life file my nails after they just glued the nail extension. Usually they file it after applying the acrylic. Then tech continues to hurt me when she applied the gel. She twisted my left thumb like I was a mannequin that my thumb joint hurts. Until now my left thumb joint still hurts a little bit and I got my nails done on 10/08/2024. She also pinched my fingers too much through out the painting process that one of the border of my finger bruised. I gave her a good tip because the nails were perfect but the experience was too painful. When I hurried to leave after I paid she stopped me to give me punch card. I took it but I really wanted to tell her Im not coming back. I couldnt tell her that she did a good job with the nails but it was too painful experience. I kept flinching and verbalizing ouch when she was doing my nails.

lavelle Willis They are the best!! My nail tech does my dip nails there and she does amazing. She is so quick, talented, and they last for 3 weeks!!!! Her skill and attention to detail are extraordinary!

Jorden S Always a pleasure coming here! Tommy is usual pedicure guy and he’s very gentle, but gives a great massage at the same time. He’s also a perfectionist when it comes to applying nail polish, which I greatly appreciate. All of the employees are super kind and caring, I highly recommend their pedicures!

Ava Carlson I just got my nails done here, and my nail tech did a great job. She was very gentle, and my nails turned out gorgeous! The building is very clean, and I was impressed with their skills. They were honest about the prices, too, which was very appreciated.

Victoria Holzner Andy was the nail tech who did my new acrylic set for me today and he was fantastic! He took extra care and time to not cause pain during my old acrylic set removal. We went through my Pinterest design ideas and he was honest about his skill and design capabilities and we agreed on this design for my new set! He did an amazing job and took his time making sure the details were perfect! The ONLY reason the inspiration doesn’t match my nails is because they were out of certain colors but I chose these colors and I’m in love! Andy and Orchid Salon is my new go-to for my nails!

Celeste Silva i LOVE my nails! I always get my nails done expecting to not like them, and they EXCEEDED my expectations! The artists were all so kind! AND my artist took the acrylic all the way down my cuticle and they don’t look grown out as soon as I walk out! 10/10 I would recommend and will be coming back! This is my new salon! I didn’t catch my artists name, but he was awesome! They are honestly better than my wedding nails I got done at another salon.

Elisha Rhodes I got my nails done here today. Asked for builder gel which is really hard to find. The nails turned out good, and the customer service is good. I’ll post some pictures. I removed a star because the salon needs a good cleaning. And I wished the items she used on my nails had been disinfected first.

April Kinney First time and Im definitely impressed. Relaxing atmosphere and very talented techs. I chose a design from one of their pics. I couldnt be happier considering the one I chose had a length 3x what I got. Attached are what I got and the inspiration photo. Really appreciated the little break from my busy day! Syladel Wynona Pante Love love love this place!! They were so gentle! I got a full set of acrylics and they did not hurt! I was so scared to get my nails done again because of my bad experience from a different nail salon. But Orchid Nails did not disappoint!! Highly recommend them! I will definitely go back again. Their professionalism is up to notch too! Ive been to a lot of nail salon in the area and all of them were so loud lol but not this nail salon. They talk to each other quietly. This is definitely a nail spa place for someone like me who just wants peace and quiet while getting their best nails ever!!

Jessica Wolff I think I found my new favorite nail salon in town. I’m not sure the girls name who did my fill but after a not so great Full set she was able to give me the shape that I wanted. Mandy was great with helping me choose a color and design. I like that they make you feel welcome and comfortable. Also I have to say out of all the nail salons i’ve been to in the last 12 years they have the most color options you can imagine. I went home very happy and the next day I even broke a nail unfortunately but went back and they fixed it free of charge. I just got my nails done and I can’t wait for two weeks so I can go back and get something even cooler. I highly recommend this nail salon. Thank you exotic nails.

Ellie sweet Never have I been so upset that I’ve felt the need to write a review for a business but this is actually crazy. I usually just do my own nails at home to save some money but I was really needing some self care so I decided to treat myself but I definitely won’t be doing this again. Prices online said $50 dollars for a gel pedicure but my total ended up being $65 before a tip. A little frustrating but not the end of the world. The part that really got me was that by the end of the day almost all the polish had started lifting and not one but two had popped off completely. Not to mention that the polish was splotchy and I probably could’ve done a better job myself.

Kathryn R Scheduled appointment. Very very busy. Left after closing when it was dark. Had 4 different ladies doing my nails. Took 2.5 hours for full set Acrylic. Nail areas not clean at all. Table lighting kept turning off making it difficult for the Tech to clearly see. I chose a style and shape ,and Nail Technician cut nails to short to achieve them so I ended up with square nails instead of More natural Almond shape. Underside of nails was not cleaned or filed at all ,and when they finished I had so much file residue on my hands that one could have mistaken where I might have been was out hand Sanding on a project. As one can see it looks terrible the very next day! There is no excuse for poor quality especially when paired with more than enough time! Im disappointed to have to leave this review especially after reading all the great reviews. This isnt my first rodeo so I do know what to expect, how long it should take as well as the process!

Amanda Tinsley I came here to get a full set of acrylic not only did they put tips that are to small and don’t even cover my nails I left there looking like I already needed a fill my nails are bumpy crooked and just absolutely ugly! I called on Friday to see about getting it fixed and got attitude on the phone! The short hair lady absolutely rushed through my nails. Update I did go back in to get them fixed they are better this time around but I shouldn’t have had to even go back to begin with. They were nice when I went back in but it was extremely uncomfortable. The first pic darker color is before fixing.

Callie Oliveto My cousin and I walked in and even tho they seemed pretty busy they got us seated right away. The wait was short and the ladies that did our nails were very kind and efficient and you can tell they know what theyre doing. This is my second time going here and ive left happy each time!

Trista Burleson I went to get the gel polish color on my toes changed a couple days ago. I had a punch card filled due to getting toe gel polish changes and pedicures. The 11th service was supposed to be free. All I got was the color of gel polish on my toes changed. She said I still owed $5. I was going to give her nice Christmas tip, but after attempting to rip me off I made her take the $5 from her tip. They also regularly use the same nail files on several customers back to back with no disinfecting in between. I always have to ask for a new file to be used because I dont want a fungal infection from another customer.

Stacey Segerman My Best friend and I have been looking for a good nail salon for awhile now. We have gone to many different salons between Bremerton and Poulsbo. We came here to Happy Nails and I must say this place is AMAZING. The women here are wonderful very friendly and they actually talk to you. The lady who did my nails did such a GREAT Job. I think my best friend and I found our Nail Salon.

Rachael Nelson pretty bad - they used a pumice stone on the top of my toes for some reason and cut up my toe knuckles, then put something with alcohol on top to cause it to sting like crazy. terrible polish job - smudges and lumps of polish on my big toes and polish on the skin around my smaller toes - and when i asked them to please fix it they just glombed more clear polish on. didn’t put my flip flops on before painting so then they got messed up when she put my shoes on. totally a waste of time and money, i could’ve done it at home. i normally wouldn’t write a negative review of a small business but literally it was so dumb, just paint your own nails. the foot soaking tub was nice and hot though.

Debra Daugherty Julie and Quinn are amazing!!! My DIL and I went in for a pedicure and nail fill. Both were very efficient (massage during pedicare was a bit too short and chair was broken) Julie took time to explain a few things about nail care. Quinn was very sweet. Both Ladies were very accommodating and since I am visiting from Texas I will be back in a couple of weeks!

Amy Feichtner The woman I get has been doing this for a long time, and it shows. Shes got a spunky personality and a knack for her craft. My nails always look exquisite, and Im very picky about tiny flaws. Wouldnt go anywhere else. This photo is days after. I have really crooked fingers and she still gets them straight. No bulk around the cuticles, and no visible lifting (I waited 5 weeks, and Im a hands on, accident prone mom, so thats saying something).

Tebaliah Blackwell Im enjoying the work theyve done. I requested a simple pointed French manicure but they refused, which was dissapointing but the regular French manicure they did looks good. They dont engage with costumers very much but Im sure some people wouldnt mind that.

Jolina Fanua Highly disappointed with the charge of $50.00 with half of a service. Not going back. Super sad. I will forever stick with Orchid Nail which I usually go to I was just waiting for an appointment at Bremerton wellness. Orchid Nail is the best all around.
