Lorena Naranjo I recently visited Sonny Nails and had an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The environment was super clean and well-maintained, which made the whole experience even more pleasant. The attention to detail in their work was impressive, and I left feeling completely satisfied with my nails. Kendra If you want to hassle with getting your nails redone by another employee, this is the place to go. They have a lady working there that paints nails like a first grader. I wanted regular polish and they did gel (I’m not all that aware of different types of nail polish) now I am. They took advantage of making more money because I probably seemed confused. The lady doing my nails seemed to be having a difficult time seeing. As soon as more customers came in she rushed to finish my nails. Also, pretty sure they go from person to person with their tools without cleaning them. Worst place in Puyallup!

Nicole Libby I don’t typically write reviews, but I was pretty upset about the service that I received. I ordered the deluxe pedicure with regular nail polish. The technician that I had didn’t really talk to me, but she show me the dead skin that came off of my feet. I also didn’t choose the color that she gave me but I decided to keep it and see if I liked it. Then when I was done, she assured me that my nails were dry and when I got home, it appeared that they definitely weren’t and my Polish had rubbed off on to my socks.

Christal Lee I wanted acrylics on my toes, and a pedicure. I’m not sure if they changed there prices? But I got a classic and gel acrylic and it was $90 I’m not sure how they got that number but I was pissed. Also my toes aren’t even straight across there all crooked and have random sharp spots. Was going to get a manicure but opt. Not too

Alexis Peloquin New owner, currently offering 15% off services. But the Delux at $45 is well worth it. Trinh is amazing, she took her time, massage was amazing (not just a quick tap and done). A mimosa and a great chair all a girl can ask for on this Sunday. Highly recommend this place, clean, very nice and great atmosphere.

Charlotte Cheeks They did the worst out of any one I’ve ever been to don’t listen to what to customers want do what they want and I told her I didn’t like 5 times still charged me 60 dollars..never again!!!! Im so mad.!!!!

M G I had a horrible experience on my most recent visit. It appeared the technician didnt like me from the minute I walked in. I tried to be cordial with her, however she was extremely irritated and bothered that she had to work on my nails.. When I told her that It hurt when she was trimming one of my nails she said " do you want your nails cut or not?". I no longer felt comfortable with her working on me and I told her to stop the pedicure. I of course paid for the entire pedicure. I have had a good experience on my previous two times with Hannah, another technician, and I was excited to come back. This was very disappointing and expensive as I had to pay again to get the pedicure done at another salon the same day.. I can only assume the technician did not like something about my appearance as I was nothing but nice.

Ivane Franco As you can see from my pictures, I was burnt from getting a wax done. It was very unfortunate and very painful. I sat through a new acrylic Nail set without knowing that she actually messed up my face because I never got to look into a mirror. I finished and paid, even tipped graciously but then once I got to my car I was able to see how awful my face looked. I was more upset that THEY SAW MY FACE AND STILL MADE ME PAY FULL PRICE INSTEAD OF TAKING ACCOUNTABILITY. Also got my nails done and the technician has no regard to the pain she was causing me when filing my nails on the sides. It is clear that the technicians weren’t trained properly. Never coming here again.

Kat S Super thorough pedicure and facial waxing. They went all out with the massage too, both for the pedi and the wax. For such a small salon, they really know how to compete to get my business back! Heather and Ann took great care of us.

Adriana DeMuth I just have to say this is by far the best acrylic nail set that I have received at a local nail salon. I never usually get a design but I felt like it was necessary due to the season & I am so happy I decided to do so. I did not catch the name of my nail tech; but he was fantastic! The woman who owned the business was extremely kind and helpful when it came to checking in & finding a color. Overall the experience was 10/10 and I will definitely be returning!

B Candy “Sugga” Received an acrylic fill with 3 replacements Looked nice but all gel polish started peeling off by the next morning, the 3 nail replacements broke off within 2 days. Just moved to the area, will not go back. They responded saying they have been closed for a month and they didnt serve me. I was in there on February 5, 2025. I still have my card receipt and monthly billing statement. I had to sign in to their system. I sat at the seat right by the front desk. I would never give a review, especially a negative review for a service I didnt receive. The lack of accountability astounds me. More reason I will NEVER go back.

Gina Christopher Great atmosphere and equipment but my full set acrylic manicure was a bit painful. Left pretty messy and glue on my fingers. Bums me out because of the amount of money you spend on a full set you kinda want your fingers to look good. Also no lotion or oil at the end of it :( I went on a Monday afternoon at 2pm.

Katrina Brewer Mary does a really great job. Her acrylics last 3 weeks and were still perfect, just grown out so I went for a fill. She is super quick, too. And friendly. This place gets slammed so make an appointment. I cant attest to other technicians.

Emilie Cortes I have been here twice now. The first time I walked in without an appointment, and the second time I needed to come back an hour and a half later. I get regular pedicures, not gel. So far I’ve had a consistent great experience and have no complaints. I will add that I will ask for Tina again in the future. She gave me the best foot and lower leg massage that I can remember ever receiving in a nail spa.

Katie Brown I am a nail tech in Bend Or, I have heard many CRESENT stories… from my own experience from removing product applied there, I am extremely disappointed. DIP nails SHOULD be acrylic, it crumbles when you soak it off. Dip powder is extremely unsanitary! The dip sets I have removed have not been acrylic but an ILLEGAL product called MMA banned in USA. Personally i have a burn on my finger from removing a set from over 5 months ago, it is still not able to heal from that 1 removal. I ask if you do nails, look out for EVERYONE involved. Consumer, the next nail person and yourself. To cut corners to save a bit of money is horrible. Please educate yourself about the nail world and products desired/ and what they give you! Make sure you can trust your nail tech and that they educate you on what is what!

Amanda Hoyle-McCue Cons: 1. Charged $40 extra than previously discussed. 2. After they had started service, then notified me of the price increase. 3. Owner seemed to be bothered when I stopped service to discuss price. He asked for me to leave 4. Teen staff that act like they hate their job. 5. Waiting…waiting..even with appointment (second visit). Pros: easy to be seated…(but you will wait) Was taken back with pricing increase even after clarifying with owner. Come to find out owner misunderstood question, but then refused to acknowledge that he misunderstood and got upset, after I asked to pause the service and clarify the price and what was included with the services that I was purchasing. When I expressed To him, my frustration as a consumer who made an appointment and called to clarify price and even clarified once in store about price… He asked me to leave after he became emotional and upset. Did not want to make a scene so I left and left with these nails. Unprofessional, rude and does not seem invested enough to have returning customers.

meshall williams The quality of the art is paramount for return business. That’s the key to a successful nail salon. She hasn’t been in business as long as she has not being great at what she does I had to find another manicurist after a bad experience with one I had been going to for years. I got fed up with always being late, make appointments that were NEVER kept on time, Just because your in a store, doesn’t mean your customer wants to shop for an hour after she was scheduled. She always, always overbooked. We all have lives, so I decided I was over it after I was charged double by her assistant for the same work and wasn’t told in advance. I walked in to Nail Cottage, and she was booked solid, but she said I could come in on Sunday. UNHEARD OF for other salons, at least from the ones I have been to. From the very beginning, top notch work. I never felt rushed, and she is old school, she doesn’t ‘clip’ she files. I have read the other reviews, and I truly don’t think they are fair. If you don’t like the conversations, put in headphones, or leave. I personally don’t like cursing, but its not constant. Just look at the work Donna does. I felt it was time to post after a few visits. Sticking with her, come what may!

Their pedicures are phenomenal, and the dip manicure I got was flawless—probably the best I’ve ever had. I tried a few technicians (and they have so many talented ones), but as soon as my tech started, I just knew she was the one. She’s been at the salon for five years, so it’s clear she’s a favorite. Make sure to book ahead if you want her, because her schedule fills up fast. Trust me, plan ahead, and you won’t regret it. Milton Nails has definitely earned a loyal customer in me!

Jessilyn Roberts I’m not sure why this place doesn’t have a 4.7 or higher! I love it here, I’m happy I found a place close to home and way more convenient. Easy to call day of or a couple days before to schedule an appointment and walk right in only s couple minutes from home ❤️ the luxury pedicure is 100% worth it, they take their time and do long relaxing massaging, nails look wonderful, and precise. ❤️ I love my relaxing momma time here.

Aisha Carver Love this place! They did a special Tiffany blue pop of under nail color to match my toes and the bottom of my wedding shoes. I received so many compliments. They use high quality nail products and my nails still looked amazing even after spending a week in pools and on the beach.

This was my first time here Eddie was who did my nails, they turned out absolutely perfect and I had a great time. They were funny and enjoyable to talk to. I would highly suggest getting your nails done here I honestly believe the bad reviews may be about a different salon because this Salon was by far one of the best Ive been to.

Lindsey John I went to Pretty Nails to have my acrylics removed. While the salon was clean and fairly easy to schedule an appointment, I left the appointment feeling extremely disappointed. There was acrylic residue left all over my fingers as well as large lumpy acrylic left across my nail beds. Not the service you should be getting from any nail salon.

Dani Tutani Not good. I’ve been going here since around October and I always get a builder gel set. Every time I go, there’s a lack of consistency with how my nails are done. My last set, however, had to be the worst one. The woman who did my nails soaked off my previous set with water and failed to dehydrate my nails before putting the builder gel on. This meant that all my nails had lifted within 1-2 weeks of me having this set, and moisture got between my nails and the builder gel. This resulted in me getting a greenie on my thumb nail (pseudomonas aeruginos). When she was doing my nails, it seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing because she was constantly asking the young man in the shop how to do them. The only set that I’ve gotten done that was absolutely stellar, was done by him (I’m not sure what his name is but kudos to him), but the only downside is that he doesn’t speak any English so it was difficult to communicate with him. Long story short, don’t do a nail technique you obviously don’t know how to do just because you want extra money from the service!!! Your clients are the ones that have to suffer. If I’m paying $47 per set, they need to last me without any issues (from the techs end), and this was not the case with this shop.

Vonda Schrock We love Royal Nails&Spa! They are all super friendly and welcoming! Mary and Victor both do amazing jobs !! And I didn’t get the name of tha gal that did my pedi but she was at station 2 ! She did a fantastic job on my pedi !! I had my 3 yr old with me and they were all super sweet to him! ❤️ if you haven’t been here I definitely recommend going !!

Jasmine Singh Was charged almost $80 for a dip manicure with French tips. The nails didn’t last 48 hours before they started chipping and the polish came off. Currently filing away the damages and trying to reshape my nails, which is pretty pathetic for the price. Super disappointing since this used to be my favorite pedicure salon.

Renee Brown I just moved to this area and needed a new nail tech. I got to meet a lovely lady who took me in right away this morning- and boy did I need it with 3 weeks of grow-out. She helped me get a fill and color change on my acrylics. She did so good and really took her time to make sure everything was even and very well shaped! She was quiet and seemed shy, but who isn’t when it’s a stranger?! I loved her work and can’t wait to go back in a couple weeks!

Lisa was so sweet, we had a great conversation, and my nails turned out beautifully! She even moved around her schedule to accommodate my last minute request for a gel mani/pedi. Pam Jones Lisa knows what she’s doing. My mom is diabetic and she has done wonders with moms feet and fingernails! She knows how to take care of them and prevent injury. She also helped my daughter get excited about growing her nails instead of biting them! She was 30 and has bitten her nail all 30 years. She was so excited to get her nails done and now she maintains them instead of biting them! Then my mother in law joined us and Lisa gives her great pedicures too! Lisa has done my nails as well and has don’t an excellent job! Very professional! We have been very happy and are now moving away wishing we could take her with us. Not sure if we are going to find anyone as good as Lisa is! Thank you Lisa for taking care of my family!

Krystal Cruz I got a pedicure over a month (5 weeks) ago and my nail polish still looks good!! Im on awe because when I get my nails done at other places, you can tell its been a while. I feel like my nails are still looking "fresh". The appointment process on their website was so easy and I actually prefer this method. I absolutely hate making phone calls. When you make an appt, youd get reminder emails and texts which is super helpful. Also worth mentioning: I had to prepay for my service when I booked the appt. I didnt mind doing this. I just ended up getting cash for tip for the day of. The location is fairly easy to find with GPS even though I drove past it and has to make a u-turn but that was my fault for not paying attention. The salon is located downstairs.

Heather Snavely I’ve been going to Hong for years now. He is the best! Often times, I have no clue what I want on my nails and he gives me some awesome suggestions. I’ve never left his chair unsatisfied. I’ve seen a few other manicurists and they’ve all been great. However, call and make an appointment. Some days are very busy and Hong is usually booked. Included is a picture of today’s nails (the folded hand). I showed him the picture and he delivered.

I can show them a picture and they make it their own, but extremely close to the original every single time. It’s affordable and super clean.
