Chr Pow A Cautionary Tale of Neglect, Mismanagement and the hell of " Retail Medicine" After undergoing a frustrating and costly 1+ year experience with a "house call doctor$" service in Everett for my Testosterone Replacement Therapy, l compelled me to share my ordeal. Initially, the process seemed straightforward, but it quickly, after the first visit, devolved into a disorganized and financially draining nightmare. I embarked on this journey only to be met with exorbitant fees, totaling over $500 just for the intake appointment. The prescriptions, which cost an additional $200 for a two-month supply, were sourced from a pharmacy in Florida and were perpetually late, with an ever-changing brand name/ supplies. Conversations with a naturopath later revealed that the same treatment could be obtained for as little as $25 a month using RX coupons, with the convenience of local pharmacy pick-up. Regrettably, Ive experienced extended periods without my necessary treatment, despite having paid in advance. Whenever I inquired about the status of my prescription, I was assured it was on its way, only to be charged again for the next two-month cycle without receiving the prior shipment. Adding insult to injury, I was then informed that a blood draw was required before my medication could be dispatched. This was despite being told previously that it wasnt necessary. The cost for blood work at their clinic ranged from $100 to $200, significantly higher than at LabCorp. The inefficiency didn’t end there. Promises of a refund for the double charge on a single treatment round have gone unfulfilled for nearly two months. Communications have been sporadic, with calls during work hours and emails from staff lacking any real understanding of my medical history or current needs. The only consistency was the arrival of a different brand of TRT, sans the promised vitamin B12 injections intended to boost my energy levels. While the staff, including the doctor, was invariably kind, their friendliness does little to compensate for the ethical and potentially illegal practices Ive encountered. I am now out $400 with nothing to show for it, facing both financial loss and the adverse effects of untreated hormonal imbalance. My advice to others seeking TRT: avoid this service. Consider consulting with a naturopath where the treatment is not only more affordable but also more reliable. Despite the pleasant demeanor of the staff, the underlying issues of this operation remind me of my bartending days, with Florida pharmacies playing the role of an unnecessary middleman, profiting at the patients expense. I am documenting every interaction and considering contacting the Better Business Bureau should this situation remain unresolved. While I hesitate to label this service a scam outright, it unquestionably qualifies as a rip-off. Save yourself the money and the frustration; there are better, more economical options available for TRT.

Sasha Galeev Save your time and go somewhere else for medical care. The setup of the office made me feel uncomfortable and exposed. The physical exam “room” is located right outside the waiting room which did not have insulation. I felt that people were able to hear my conversation with the doctor between the thin “walls.” Afterwards, I was sent off elsewhere to complete my blood work. They do not offer in-house blood work which makes coming here inconvenient. I needed to speak with Dr. B because the lab diagnostics were ordered incorrectly, and the front desk staff ignored my calls making it impossible to get a hold of Dr. B. When the secretary did pick up the phone it was unprofessional and my concerns were disregarded. I sat in a lab corp facility for 3 hours waiting for the correct orders to be entered! Either the front desk staff have no communication with the doctor, or the doctor did not care that I was waiting. Although Dr. B is very knowledgeable, the way she runs her office and staff is unacceptable.

Becky N I was overcharged for a visit and they refuse to return my money. When I asked to talk to the owner because every time I called there was someone new and I had to explain my issues all over again. They wanted me to pay $50 to set up a meeting with the owner. Its been a nightmare.

John Babbitt I showedup for two appointments on time. After waiting in an exam room for an hour, an assistant finally shower up and told me that the Dr would NOT be seeing me and asked me to reschedule. After ordering my complete medical history for the Dr to review my file and continue refilling my current medications, it took over a month to see the Dr again. I made a new appointment and showed up on time, and once again I sat in the exam room for 45 minutes and was never seen by the doctor. No call of apology or attempt to reschedule and after several calls to the dr, I was told that I cannot refill my current prescriptions. I’m never going back there again. Totally disrespectful and a giant waste of my time.

Emma Passaglia Everyone here is super nice and professional, but Ive struggled with this office for several months. Theyve given me the wrong prescriptions, spelled my name wrong on prescriptions, etc. Not a huge deal as everyone makes mistakes! Whats been frustrating is that when you call, someone rarely picks up the phone, and the voice-mail box is always full. Its a lovely little clinic, but personally I need a group that responds faster to some of the things I need. That being said Dr. Bernadette is so awesome, I felt so comfortable with her. I also appreciated the super cheap copay for the office (could vary depending on your insurance), especially since I was recently unemployed. And the building the office is in is so cute and lovingly decorated

Alex Thompson Waited an hour to be put in a room, to wait another hour and a half to be seen. The doctor was knowledgeable and pleasant which is the only reason Im giving two stars. I also scheduled an Endocrinology appointment about a month ago and for the entirety of my time with diabetes Ive had to get my blood drawn before seeing her. Ive been at the lab waiting for 2 hours now for a blood draw. The Everett Clinic has gone down the toilet ever since Optum took over, and I would honestly avoid getting care here.

Mary Joy Parks The scheduling was great and the reception was very friendly and informative. When I arrived at the clinic I only had to wait just a few minutes before I was waited on. The receptionist there was very informative about where I needed to go to to see my allergist doctor. I only had to wait about 15 minutes before I was called back so I can get into a room to see the doctor. The doctor was very informative & put the time to explain things to me in details.. I recommend this Clinic to anyone who needs to see a doctor!

J P Let me preface this by saying I don’t like being one of these people. But I think people deserve to know what they’re getting into when they receive healthcare through the Everett Clinic. I have been going here for YEARS now, and the only reason I stay is the convenience of keeping my frequent medical records together. I have a mystery illness that nobody can seem to figure out — possibly autoimmune. Over the last several months I have seen ophthalmology, neurology, gotten multiple blood draws, an EKG, and had FOUR MRIs done. Nobody has found anything. They sent me in a loop with specialists and when I finally reached neurology, after months of lab work, she basically told me she couldn’t find anything and that “since I’m not having symptoms right now there’s nothing to treat” okay… like I haven’t been chronically i’ll for multiple years now. That’s where my treatment ended. No answers at all. So I spent thousands and thousands of dollars for a bunch of doctors to shrug their shoulders and move on, even though my blood test results came out abnormal. But besides the point of nobody can figure out what’s wrong with me, they overbook their doctors so heavily that sometimes it can literally take months to get an appointment. I scheduled an appointment in October with the soonest opening in March. They called me today (February) and told me I had to reschedule. I will not be doing that, since now their openings are in November. I have waited in the waiting room for 45 minutes (half an hour after my appointment time) just for them to tell me that I need to reschedule cause they overbooked. But then they charge me for cancelling without 24 hours notice. Save yourself the time and money if you can. I don’t know the state of other clinics but this one hasn’t helped me with much other than growing my debt. It sucks.

Bob Siguaw I drove 50 miles for labs only to be told the computers have been down since yesterday..Ok, we all have problems. You couldnt call and cancel the appointment? Im thinking a busted appointment fee is in order.

J M Erin was amazing, I struggle a lot with a mariad of mental health issues & she was calm, caring, and reassuring. We came up with a game plan, she gave me as much control as I wanted over the game plan. She was sweet & wonderful. I wish I had known about this place years ago.

April Reagan I had to take a loved one to this clinic during their mental crisis. This service was a lifesaver. They spent quality time with my loved one talking to them, understanding their situation and helping them get the help they need- thank you for providing the service, Providence. Front desk staff not terribly caring as others have shared.

saige My doctor told me to go, all because I began experimenting with evolving past the need for REM sleep. Eventually, I drove down there from Island County. They were very nice to speak with, and everything seemed to be going well, promising, even… but then they tried to lock me away against my will. I wasn’t even a threat to myself or others. I had to run back to my car just to get out, because they said they were calling people to come get me. It’s a fine establishment if you are open to being held in captivity. Just prepare to have all your ducks in a row before visiting. For example, I said, “I cannot voluntarily admit myself into overnight care; it is finals week at school.” To which they said, “You will not be finishing anyway.” Well, I just finished with all A’s. Do what’s best for yourself. Reluctance is different than rebellion. If you feel reluctant, listen to it. Be careful who else you listen to.

Fisher Foutch They are only getting 2 stars because of the nurse that did our intake! She was amazing other than that its BS they dont really care its basically a list of places to seek help which anyone who has been dealing with mental health knows is the worst. everyone is booked out months and I just felt really unheard and Im so sick of hearing what doctors wont do everyone automatically thinks oh Drug seekers because your son needs something to relax its really awful especially when you know your loved one can potentially escelate into a potential suicide attempt my son has never had a drug problem and if they look at the file they can see he gets maybe 15 a year only for emergencies so we dont end up back in the ER from a scary situation. Im just so sick and tired of the medical field at providence and its gross neglect of patients daily and that is supposed to be our #1 hospital in the region not to mention the rude cold lady at the front desk who DEFINITELY needs to be in a different line of work!!! she has ZERO compassion or understanding for the people she deals with daily she should work in a prison or Smokey point behavioral health which is simialr facilities the mental health care at this facility is gross they give you a pill n let you go never checking in or even taking a message to see how it is working they do not refill n they dont check in you have to sit n wait 3 to 4 hours to be seen again thats if you will even be seen at all its gross behavior by our mental health providers PLEASE HELP OUR MENTAL HEALTH SYSTEM YOU ARE FAILING OUR COMMUNITY!!! Especially our youth!!!!!

Jenn G The care itself was great, but the front desk woman didn’t attach my insurance to the visit and I received a bill to pay out of pocket. Also, like others have said, the faster you fill out the paperwork, the sooner you’ll be seen. I felt guilty being seen sooner than the other patient who had been there before me, who was clearly in psychiatric distress. Their billing line is continually 40 people in line whenever I call. I’m still trying to fix the problem. Such a nice surprise for a visit for extreme anxiety.

Marianna Ouellette Although I have never met or spoken to Dr. Thyerlei, I am extremely disappointed in her willingness to provide care. I have been searching for a doctor who provides POTS care (as I have a suspected diagnosis from an ER physician), and she is the only one in the area. I had two referrals, one from my pcp and another from an Optum doctor. Both of which were rejected because my pcp is not an Optum doctor. My clinic doesn’t have a neurology department and I have been with my pcp for a long time now. I think it’s extremely unprofessional to “pick” your patients and not provide care. I have had to go out of state for care now with over a years wait. Sounds like I will be relying on Dr. Google to provide better care than this physician.

Steve Gasser I saw Dr. Thyerlei for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I was very impressed with her deep knowledge, compassion, and friendly attitude. She is an excellent physician and Im so pleased that I am able to have her as my neurologist. Since we met, she has updated me with the results of my labs. I will be undergoing an MRI shortly and I look forward to seeing her again to review the results. She has calmed my anxiety which is so helpful!

C Hovey My wife started having seizures 2 years ago. Dr. Thyerlei has been no help to find a cause. Gave her medication for epilepsy and tells her that the "data shows"... it would be nice to be treated as an individual and have a doctor that has compassion for their patients instead of just trying to keep them on meds. She finally is switching doctors.

Lora Tollefson Ive been a patient of Dr Thyerlei for about eight years. She has always taken the time to talk about medications, possible concerns, outside stressors, health insurance, and anything else that may influence my care. I always feel like she listens to me and I never feel as if shes rushing me.

Emma Scott In September I woke up in the middle of the night to my husband having a seizure. I had no idea what was happening and called 911. He was foaming at the mouth and convulsing. He didn’t know who I was, where he lived, or what was happening. We ended up seeing Dinah Thyerlei maybe a week or two after the ER. I had just changed jobs and my health insurance hadn’t started yet, so we had an $8k medical bill. At our next follow up appointment I explained that I thought he was having a different type of seizure several times per day and during his sleep after researching on the Epilepsy Foundation website. He had every symptom that was listed on one type of seizure. We had an EEG that she deemed abnormal, but no diagnosis. She called it “abnormal behavior”. He is on anti seizure meds for 3 months and she sent us on our way. She has no empathy, no compassion. She said that he’s not allowed to drive until he has gone 6 months without an “episode” yet still no diagnosis of a seizure disorder. His job is driving, then up on ladder with tools installing blinds. We applied for paid medical leave through the state to help make ends meet during this time and it has to be signed by the doctor. She took it upon herself to write on the side of the form that “he can otherwise work”. There is no space on the forms for the doctors opinion, it is solely asking does this person have a serious medical issue. Thankfully we were approved despite her attempt to thwart our ability to access a benefit we pay for and desperately needed. We have requested a referral to UW Medical to get the help my husband needs, as we were never going to get it with this horrible excuse for a doctor. I have never experienced a doctor that has no regard for the suffering of a human being physically and financially. If you want someone who cares, avoid this woman.

The nursing staff was attentive and provided exceptional post-operative care, always making sure my wife was comfortable and recovering well. What happened here was nothing short of a miracle, and we are beyond grateful for the dedication and effort of everyone involved. This hospital is truly a place of healing, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of top-quality medical care. Thank you once again for everything you have done for us!

Samantha Oxstien My dear friend is in intensive care, was in ICU. Nurses found him on the floor basically dead. He was without oxygen for 25 minutes, his sensors weren’t even on his bed and his guard rails were down (he has band that says fall risk). Now he’s on life support because this hospital didn’t take care of him. Providence hospital took my friends life.

Ruthie Kay I came to this ER and for 40 minutes was the only person crying, moving around in pain and asking for help. When I walked up to this nurse, I said I was leaving because I couldnt wait any longer. I was crying and begging for help. She rolled her eyes at me and said shed put me at D-90. She then called someone else and walked away. I tried to wait there. When I realized I wasnt going to talk to a provider, I went up to her again and said I was leaving. She said, "okay, bye." While barely looking at me. I understand you have to cover your ass but to deny I was in distress when I was crying, begging for help and to state you advised me against leaving when you didnt is shocking. I cant believe you would lie like this in a chart note, hence why Im publicly posting it. I came here because the pain was so unbearable I couldnt drive any longer but I am now going to go to another hospital. How many times a day do you guys lie on chart notes?

Gina Beaudette What was once a great institution is now of very low quality. Even worse, that quality has become their culture and is reflected in the callousness of the staff, as seen especially in the ER. If you can, go elsewhere. I arrived with severe left sided abdominal pain three days after a colonoscopy but, because I have a high tolerance for pain and can maintain composure, the nurse was dismissive, chatted my husband up, inserted a port, and sent us to the waiting area. After waiting five hours while struggling with sharp stabbing pain, I asked to have the port removed so I could get care elsewhere and the male at the front desk argued with me: "Where are you going to get care when you leave here?!", "You should expect to have to wait seven hours when you come to our ER", and "If someone comes in who is sick then they will be put in front of you." To the man at the medical side of the check in desk: At MINIMUM you should have inquired about my symptoms, why I was there, and then with compassion let me know an approximate wait time until I could see a doctor. Instead you expected me to wait silently and suffer with no idea when or if I would be seen. If a patient wants to leave and you cant answer simple questions at least dont argue with them! This is a simple matter of respect and compassion, something their ER staff clearly dont care about. I went to the Everett Clinic walk in who did immediate imaging, diagnosis, and initiated treatment. Of note is that this ER wants urine samples right away with no clear answer why, send you to the bathroom in the waiting area to do it, and you are expected to hold that urine sample the entire time you wait. One man asked the front desk (where many medical staff from the back were gathered laughing and chatting with each other) what he was supposed to do with it and they told him to hold on to it instead of taking it back for him. Disgusting and unsanitary. I walked mine to the back hallway and gave it to a nurse but that poor man had to hold his.

Gazelle Williams The staff seems incompetent or the just did not care. From the nurse to the food sever. The surgery staff were better even though the nurse cause my husband to blood all over himself. I never seen blood gushing out of a vein before. She finally stopped it. That just one bad thing that happened in less then 24 hours.

Andrew Anderson If you need anything done, youll have to correct them multiple times before its done right e.g. prior authorizations & pharmacies you want medications sent to. Not just a one off situation. Ive been going to this clinic for years now and it seems to happen nearly every month.

Kendra Krieger Dr. Krishnan is absolutely the rudest Dr I have ever met! Pushing to medicate you otherwise you are not allowed to say you have a medical condition. Do not recommend this dr, insensitive, and has zero personable and empathy skills.

Sabrina Cohn I havent switched Dr.s yet. Im looking into it. My pcp wants to treat my liver issue herself and not listening to my concerns I have. I keep getting the same answer back. Sounds like a Broken record and keeps wanted to do blood test, the blood tests keep showing the same over and over nothing is changed with the tests. Im 29 years old and I would to find this out asap and get this fixed once and for all, not in 3 months repeat the blood tests over and over. I would like to see a specialist on livers or something and just cut to answers and stuff I already know.

Mary Russel They charged me during my yearly pelvic exam for a second pelvic exam. They are crooks. They are owned by United HELLCARE. They’re a horrible clinic that does not care about your health at all. All they care about is money.. Do not go to them. They just try to rip you off. Then when I trying to get them to fix it, they said,” Your insurance needs to send something to us.” But they were the ones that overbilled. Every time I go there for an annual visit, they try to find a reason to charge me. They are the ones that billed me twice for one visit. Do not go to that clinic. Don’t go to anything that says Optum care. They only reversed the charge after I threatened multiple times to go to the insurance commissioner. They suck.

Miriah Peterson Very poor billing/communication practices. They did not submit to my insurance or inform me they were not able to. This was an annual appt that would have been 100% covered. They forwarded my bill to collections without notification to me. They stated I was signed up for only electronic communication (never received any) then they also said they mailed me statements (never received). I have never in my life had an unpaid bill. This is a very predatory practice. This company should be ashamed. I will never utilize the Everett Clinic again and have definitely let everyone I know the same.

Christina Mac ***5th floor OB appts-please note that the Care and kindness of the actual appts and drs here is generally great. Sometimes wait times are ridiculous but the actual care and bedside manor is great.****They would have 5 stars if their parking wasn’t so horrible. Very pregnant women obviously go to this building for appts all the way up until delivery! Yet the only parking in their lot is handicapped and the only option for the next lot is PAID I tried it and ended up paying over 3$ for an 1 and a half appt. There are other parking options and most every one is down and up the hills of the side streets! Either create free parking for your patients or lower the amount we have to pay! I will not come here again for the future or recommend simply bc how screwed up and horrible parking is!

L M Would give negative stars if I could. They only care about money, not about their patients. They just push patients in and out all day to make more money. I spent my entire first pregnancy here and my dr, Dr Demas, was nice to my face but did not care one bit about me and that is shown through actions. You wait forever at all your appointments, they are always behind schedule. Anytime I had a concern her response would be “oh that’s normal.” You’d think after seeing a doctor that many times throughout your entire pregnancy maybe they would care about your birth? Nope, they do not one bit. I hear of women talking about how great their OBs were and how excited they would be to help deliver their patients baby - you will NOT get that here. You will get the literal opposite of that. I was in pretty severe pain in my third trimester and that was “normal” according to Dr Demas. She said I should talk to my PCP, not her. She heavily tried to push me into induction, even though it was my first pregnancy and I was “very healthy and normal” in her eyes. I was 41 weeks and 2 days pregnant when I was supposed to have an appt with her - they cancelled on me same day. They don’t care about their pregnant patients that are 41+weeks? Yikes. I ended up having an AWFUL birthing experience at the hospital attached to this clinic - one and two floors down from their office and Dr Demas never even came to check on me even though she was only a floor up? Another huge yikes. I could go on and on but please stay clear of this money hungry business. They sadly aren’t in business to care for human beings.

Bulat Nazmiev I recently had a very disheartening experience here related to the use of their PlugShare charging station, which was advertised as accessible to everyone. During my charging session, a clinic employee abruptly unplugged my car to connect her Tesla without any prior conversation or warning, which was surprising and inconsiderate. When I sought assistance from the clinic’s security team, I was met with an unexpectedly harsh response. Despite the charging station being advertised for public use, the security personnel were rude and insisted that I needed to leave the premises immediately since I was not a patient or conducting business there. This confrontation not only caused unnecessary stress but also resulted in a significant loss of time and energy, leaving me worse off than before I attempted to charge my car. The lack of empathy and professionalism from the clinic staff, especially the security team, was truly disappointing. Such an experience has compelled me to advise others to reconsider visiting here for their charging needs, or potentially any other services, given the unwelcoming and discourteous treatment I received

Ammelia Whitehead Do not go here. Do not try to establish care here. This facility is extremely poorly run. Whoever is handling scheduling does a terrible job. They never have appointments for their established patients. They also have a very high turnover rate and multiple physicians have told me as a patient that they are leaving the facility because it is poorly run. Do not try to establish care here unless you would like to be disappointed and not have any consistent care. I highly recommend that you avoid this clinic unless you want to be treated poorly and have bad healthcare.

W Z The staff at this location made a lot of trouble to their patients. For example, they only take walk in on COVID-19 vaccines. That means those old people need to come before 6 am and wait on a line outside the building with cold weather and sometimes with rain. My experience is even worse. After more than an hour waiting on a line, they told us they didnt have enough doses for today, you had to come back even earlier tomorrow. Why dont they take appointments at first place? Make fun to those old men and women?

Neb Like 3 visits: 1st was ok, nothing good/bad. 2nd was great as the dentist actually provided detailed information. 3rd my ins had changed but they didnt check, or even see, the uploaded insurance. The receptionist said "we recommend everyone call their insurance ahead of time." No, there was never that recommendation. On the contrary, every health or dental experience I have ever had always checked the insurance. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Dont lie and waste peoples time.

Heather Ford I was there back in 2013, have never been so sick in my life. I was at the time, slowly dying of a severe oral infection. The doctor reminded the staff that I am a nurse. They were very respectful and did their best to help. Thankfully, my family helped pay the cost of the surgery (at the time, no insurance). Happily I recovered and am again working as a nurse. I’ll never forget the self respect I gained from it. I’m now volunteering at a free clinic in the city I now live in. Thank you!

Kora Russell I waited 3 weeks for this appointment, had to make a special request for this day off, lost money, and they cancelled on me day of when the day before I called to make sure my appointment was still available. If the doc is sick, of course stay home and feel better soon, but I dont trust them anymore. I dont have time or money to keep doing this so Im going to a different doctor.

Alphonso Mcghee My first vist was good then I was sent to have a MRI and was told to call the clinic I did and no one has ever reach back out to me! This ear pain and ringing has been going on since last April its horrible as if I am deaf in one ear! the response time is garbage!!! People are in pain and nasal spray isnt going to fix it!!

Keegan I have called this clinic 5 times over the past 1.5 months after being seen in October. I was told someone would reach out to me within 8 weeks. That never happened. I began calling in December and every time the front desk informs me that they will have a ‘note’ put in for the scheduler to call me and that they see the previous ‘x’ amount of notes already put in. I have never posted a negative review on anything before but this clinic is incredibly unprofessional and unable to communicate. If there is a back log that fine, let me know that instead of giving me the runaround for 2 months. If you have a choice, go to any other ENT.

Nuin Stonewater Due to an injury, I needed immediate care and minor surgery. They were able to get me in and cared for in a timely fashion. They were also kind and professional in all interactions.

Rena Corwin Called for my boss who has been suffering for 5 weeks with massive sinus infection and horrific dark green drainage; can’t breathe, can’t sleep does not have a primary Dr. and has been thru 2 different iterations of antibiotics from the walk in clinic to no avail. Providence Ear Nose & Throat told me they could see him in 3 to 4 months. I explained he is suffering and needs to be seen and they told me to send him to the walk in for antibiotics. I explained he has been to the walk in twice and that neither antibiotic worked and that he needs an ENT who specializes in this and asked if there was no way to see him could we be pointed in the direction of someone who could help and was told to call someone else that they deal with referrals. This man is a widower with 2 teenagers and is the owner of a small local business of 30 years who doesn’t have medical insurance or a primary to refer him and just wanted to pay cash for a good Dr. who could help him breathe. Is this really where we are at? Can’t afford medical insurance, but can’t be a cash customer apparently and obtain help when it’s needed. Is this really what you were thinking of when you decided you wanted to be a Dr.? Or did you want to actually help people? This man did everything right, everything he was told to and lives a very clean organic lifestyle but clearly something is wrong. Too bad your business model doesn’t care. Shame on you.

Rachel Summer This place discriminates against LGBT people. At first they are ok until it is discovered you are a sexual minority then the humiliation begins. There isnt anything you can do about it as they are under a "religion" do it is allowed. Do yourself a favor and seek service somewhere else. Maybe go to someone who cares more about your hearing than who you married!

Atnafu Dargaso Swedish Hospital Mill Creek Urgent Care does not live up to the “urgent” in urgent care. Be prepared for long wait times—you might end up staying whole the day before being seen. The staff is professional, but the efficiency and speed of service leave much to be desired. If you have a non-urgent issue and plenty of time to spare, it might be an option, but for anything truly urgent, you may want to look elsewhere.

Angela Solem I don’t understand the negative reviews. I brought my child here Thursday (Jan 23rd) after leaving the urgent care who recommended we come in. By the time we arrived at Swedish her vitals were extremely low and her condition critical. The staff were extremely attentive and excellent. Her doctor, I can’t remember his name, and her nurse, Andy, were over the top. Her doctor was very fast acting and very attentive. Andy is the best nurse I have ever encountered. Before she was transferred to the picu in Seattle, he spent the entire 6 hours in her room pushing fluids, antibiotics etc. he answered all my questions with kindness and reassurance. The picu team might have saved her life, but Andy did too with his non stop work to get her blood pressure and heart rate stable before transport. She was released from the picu today and I’m forever thankful for this hospital and team for saving her life. Give this man a raise!

Kitty Gillespie The staff were incredibly helpful and supportive and exceptionally patient. Especially the ER tech that helped me despite my reprehensible behavior (of which mortify me when I think back on my visit). He was very professional and polite despite my nervous word diarrhea. There’s no excuse to treat anyone terribly, especially when they are working on your injury, but he wrapped my finger and talked me through the aftercare with kindness and patience despite it all. Every visit I have had with Swedish has been as positive as visiting an ER can be.

El Ram I used to have a positive experience at this ER, but recent visits have been disappointing. Dr. Christopher Luckows bedside manners are terrible, and even the nurses acknowledge his behavior. However, the nurses who took care of me were amazing and very attentive. Despite this, the overall experience was marred by the negative interaction with Dr. Luckow. I hope that improvements can be made to ensure better patient care in the future.

vasiliy litvinchuk Disappointing!!!!! Took my wife to emergency room after 5 days of fever and cough. They treated her like they wanted her to go home and get more sick. Gave her no prescriptions for any medicine and sent her home. After 2 days she got even worst cough and hard breadth. Took her to the walk in clinic and they were shocked of the Swedish hospital how they did not noticed that she has both lungs pneumonia and infection in one lung. Now there is a risk of having asthma for life because of them. Lately I feel hospitals want you to get very sick put you on pills and have you on the hook forever.

Jeff T Been waiting for an MRI for 3hours now: still waiting. I have asked several people if they could give an idea as to how much longer or how many people in the que before us. I was told they had no idea and that when they call imagine they get upset because they are busy. Even if they told me it was going to be 2 days at least I would know. Not sure why I can go to a McDonald’s and see where I am in the que but going to a hospital where they are charging thousand or tens of thousand of dollar they can not provide even an estimate on time frame. Pretty sad and disappointing . If you have a choice which hospital to go to. I would highly recommend NOT going to Providence in Everett A quick update. It has now been more than 7 hours. We did finally get the MRI and the CT scan. We are now waiting for the CT scan results. I also thought I would share the ER room(lobby with chairs and some privacy screens. We wanted to come back to the US to have access to better medical facilities.). I will say the nurses and doctors has been very friendly

Perry Taylor Was taken here by ambulance after a pretty serious car accident. My ear had torn from the side of my head. Hip and knee were in bad shape. Arm shoulder and neck battered and bruised. Needed immediate attention. Which I did not get. I sat in hallway for over an hour. Once I was wheeled into a room it was nearly two hours before I even saw a doctor. She ordered X-rays. Which took another two hours. Once results showed no broken bones, I had been completely forgotten about. Right before discharge they finally stitched up my ear (nearly 8 hours after the accident) torn hip and knee were never even addressed nor attended to. Nobody came by to monitor my pain. Once discharged all I was given was a low grade muscle relaxer because (due to opioid crisis, it’s difficult to prescribe pain medications) so thanks to this states drug abusers those of us that need it aren’t allowed to obtain it. Though I was admitted next to a fentanyl overdose user. The treatment that guy received could run circles around mind. He was given beverages, snacks, numerous care. Meanwhile I was never even asked if I wanted a drink of water. Trash hospital. Worthless care. Will refuse to ever go back.

TickittyTock49 I went in last Friday before work, instantly got profiled by a Mr Juan at the check-in desk for the ER, I apporched the desk that security asked me to go to. Started checking in with the female staff as usual. Mr Juan apporched me and started asking me questions with out introducing himself, didnt even mention that he works there or his position, just started asking me questions and talking over the female receptionist that was checking me in, went back for an EKG, a nurse that barley spoke English took me back to what looked like a supply closet room and watched me undress, performed the EKG, when it was time for me to get dressed she continued to stand in the middle of the room and just watch me and the privacy curtain was halfway open the whole time I was in the room during the medical procedure, I had to ask the nurse to step out while I get dressed, I felt uncomfortable that she was just staring at me, I asked her to close the blinds on her way out, she did not, I went to close the curtain myself after she had stepped out of the room, right as I was closing it yet again Mr Juan from the ER check-in desk is staring me down from his desk. I closed the curtain continued to dress my self, at this time I was asked to step back into the waiting room and wait, next up was triage, I go into the room that Im asked to enter, the nurse that did my IV was the best that Ive ever had. I dont like needles at all and she did a great job! The Doctor entered the room and did great, I noticed that the staff entry way was partially open, and then when I looked up at the open staff entry way to the triage room I was in, low and behold was Mr Juan again! He was litterly standing just inches from the door listening to everything I said and watching every move I make, so at this point and time I realized this isnt a coincidence, this guy is stalking me while Im the ER, I felt very threatened, concerned and confused. Once I was out of triage, I noticed Mr Juan was back at the desk ( where he is supposed to be while there ) I asked him why he was doing what he was doing and he denied and disregarded everything I was asking, I had asked for his first and last name, he chose to only provide his first name. As I was asking he took the name badge off his chest. I did not want to escalate the situation, Fast forward to when I got into a room, hooked up to another EKG ( cant wait for that bill ) one of my female nurses on her way out, I asked her to close the privacy curtain and she gave a BS excuse as to why she wouldnt, I asked for different nurse and she did not have a problem closing the curtain for privacy. I am not a criminal, I am an American tax payer, yet I was treated like a criminal. Discrimination is illegal.

Janice Hogan WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER THEY DESERVE NO STARS. Went in at 1pm with Excruciating pain couldnt get comfortable at all, couldnt sit,stand nothing. Saw triage ended up puking so hard from pain the nurses in the back decided to laugh about it. I heard about it from the tech taking my blood., she also pressed so hard on my arm I have a brusie almost to my armpit. During the vomiting ended up peeing from puking so hard, asked for pants and they told me no because i wasnt being admitted. Then they put a port in my arm I asked if I could have some kind of pain med they said no until I saw the doctor. 6 hours later with my pain getting worse also passed out atleast once bevause i couldnt eat or drink anything so i could have imagining done. I finally see a doctor who says they think its a kidney stone or appendicitis which they can barely touch me because it hurts so bad. Then I get meds then a CT scan an hour later, which then the tech does wrong the first time and forgets to put the fluids in and we had to do it again. To go back and wait even longer for the results which I got in my chart 5mins later and they took their sweet time. To find out it was a kidney stone and that I probably already passed it well waiting but just in case sent me home and then i couldnt even get my meds and i was exhausted. They explained thats why I was in so much pain. This experience and the way I was treated made me realize why I dont go to the hospital.

Amanda Engholm Dr. Chun is by far the best doctor I’ve ever seen. His bedside manner is incredible and his caring nature surpasses that of any provider I’ve seen in years! Not only did he ease me of fears and concerns I’ve been having for the last several months, but he sat there with me for a good portion of the visit and just listened to me vent about current worries and stressors I’m facing. I will absolutely be recommending him to anyone that needs a neurologist from here on out! Thank you so much Dr. Chun for your kind heart and being such a caring provider.

Andrea Ratliff This clinic is a prime example of the current state of brokenness in the practice of medicine. My insurance does not require referrals to see specialists, and I pay dearly to have this level of coverage to be able to self-refer. However, this practice has an internal policy requiring referrals or they cancel your appointment. I don’t have a PCP because mine retired. After waiting 3 months to see a new one, that one cancelled my appointment. Now, the next appointment I can get with a PCP is in 2024! When I called this practice to ask about their referral policy they told me they need one to see me but would accept a referral from my dentist. If that’s the case then THEY DON’T ACTUALLY NEED A REFERRAL, they’re just checking a box. A dentist? Are they serious? Apparently so. Good luck to all of us, because the practice of medicine is broken maybe beyond repair. They’re driving people to misuse ERs with nonsensical policies like this. And besides that, what is their actual concern? I’m insured. I will pay my copay and my insurance will pay them. The worst that happens to them is THEY GET PAID, even if they don’t help me. I’m beyond frustrated.

Dan Langston Honestly, this was a very disappointing medical experience. I suffered a very bad triple hit concussion this last year from a bad mountain bike crash, and I struggled for over 6 months in recovery. It took many appointments with my everet clinic primary care to finally escalate me to the everett clinic neurologist and get an mri for my brain. I was excited to get good information and talk to an expert. Unfortunately, the neurologist I saw was not helpful in the slightest. I had many questions about how best to maximize recovery/how to limit activities, etc. All of my questions were answered with "it depends", and their bottom line recommendation was "dont get another concussion." The only analysis of my brain scan done was that I did not have an active bleed, and afterwards a quick reflex and proprioceptive test. I recommend elsewhere for care, as the care I received felt apathetic, and I was pretty much told to just wait for recovery, despite a condition that affected me every moment of every day. This is especially hard because people with these injury types are unable to self advocate well due to their conditions. I went elsewhere for second opinions and was given great advice on sleep, nutrition, and exercise recovery to help heal my brain. I saw little improvement until these active recovery strategies.

Eric Tabaka Was an established patient. My PCP left the clinic. Was told I have to go to a location 5x farther away from where I live because no doctors here are accepting new patients…? Ummm what?

Robert David Dr Gupta and his care team use to be so helpful. As of the last few months they’ve been far from it. Continuously cancelling my appointments and nurses telling me I need to see the dr before he refills anymore prescriptions. Now I’m told he doesn’t have availability till next year. I have 2 autoimmune diseases that need to be taken care of otherwise I become hospitalized. But yet, what happens if we continuously cancel appointments as patients?

Gabriella Kohlberg Chelsea McCarty chooses to vehemently defend her team that repeatedly ignores requests of patients, misdirects them and lies on information required. They will dismiss everything you request then claim you arent "respectful" when youve had to contact 5 different outlets to get someone to appropriately fill out a simple order request rather than be ignored and delayed for weeks on end. They do not respond to urgent messages and ignore them from all departments that you follow up here. Even when the call center acknowledges the responses to messages were "inappropriate" from the providers side and that they "dropped the ball", she takes no accountability and blames the patients frustration for spending hours on something thats a 5 minute solution from their side if ANYTHING had been communicated properly. They cant even put an IV in without 5 failed attempts and bruising up entire arms to tears. Do not go here unless you want negligent care, no accountability and half sanitary conditions.

Rulas 420 Referred to by the walk in clinic because of a bacterial infection that won’t clear up. I’m having some serious issues and the “soonest” they can see me is in 3 months. Optum having bought out the Everett clinic has made things so bad. Their billing department sends things to collection in a blink and the quality of care has dropped dramatically. I am very disappointed.

Grant Carlson Terrible doctors who do not care about you. They make you wait 4 months for an appointment, tell you your horrible stomach pain is probably anxiety, and then the appointment is over.

Kerry Golden Disgustingly unprofessional as of late. I was booked two months out for an urgent gastro problem that persisted for more than three weeks. Not once in those two months did they call me with a cancellation, though they had offered to get me in the cancellation list. The day before said appointment, they call my MOTHER to inform her of them cancelling my appointment on less than 24hrs notice—not me—and without reason. They then wanted to book me out another whole month!!! Despite the fact they are aware I live an entire hour away. I had structured my finals week— exams, in-class time and arrangements with teachers for time missed, my night classes, and my work schedule around this appointment. No consideration whatsoever for their patients, whom their policy would charge were I to be the one to cancel. Absolutely abysmal.
