Lively Reviews With so much talent in the Valley, it may be hard for some to get a grip and start making a name for themselves. However this has not been the case for @hairbykaylal, Kayla! She has been rocking it. Working with some of the best in the Valley along the way, she’s been able to witness some of the best techniques first hand! Not only is she warm and personable but she’s an artist. Artists work with what they are given and do their absolute best to bring your vision to life. Some of these may be far-fetched but your expectations will be met with an honest answer. The Grove salon is also owned by Amy, who just happens to be a long standing, well respected and extremely talented professional within this industry. Knowing that these two are in the same location is like having a powerhouse of knowledge and talent all under the same roof! I wouldn’t blame anyone for wanting to check these two out, after all they’re kinda a big deal.

Jessica Dorr She is a very talented hair artist. Ive been trying to get a specific haircut for years and NO ONE has gotten it right. I barely explained what I wanted to her and she got it on the dot! Christian Gobrecht Marlana is an exceptional stylist, and Im super excited that shes finally opened her own salon! My first haircut by her was over 4 years ago when she was working at a different salon, and Ive never let anyone else cut my hair since then. She was always by far the most requested stylist at that salon, but the extra wait was ALWAYS worth it have Marlana cut your hair. She actually works to understand what your hair wants to do naturally and give you a haircut thats right for you and that will still look good the next day. The only regret youll have going to Marlana is that you didnt go sooner.

Katie Lickar Took my daughter to get her nails done for her birthday but I didn’t want all the harsh chemical smell and for her to get acrylics. Evolve has a nail service that is done for extensions that is a healthy alternative and I was all for that! Anna did a great job and my daughter’s nails were so pretty! They have a super comfy massage chair you can sit in while getting them done. I definitely recommend anyone getting their nails done there!

Mckenzie Webster I have been getting my hair extensions done by Tara for going on 4 years now. I love going into the warm & inviting salon. She is always open to my ideas about changing my hair color and has helped me go from jet black hair to a light brown blonde color. Tara is the best!

Sydney Ross I recently had an appointment with Melissa at Evolve by Tara and Co. and I cannot recommend her enough. After a negative experience with blonding a year and a half ago, I was hesitant to get back in the seat. When I reached out to Melissa she was prompt with her response and scheduling and also extremely kind. I feel like she really listened to my hair history and cared to ask for any follow up or clarification. When I went in for my appointment she had a bubbly a sweet attitude which I was thankful for as I tend to be shy in new places. The salon itself was also very welcoming and clean. We talked through what the appointment would be like and I felt comfortable with her suggestions based on her expertise. Melissa is very knowledgeable and gave me tips and tricks throughout the appointment for managing my new hair. Not once did I feel pressured into buying product or making a change I didn’t truly want. The overall experience was a dream and as you can see in the attached photos, I got the big (while still being healthy) change that I was looking for. If I could give her 100 stars out of 5 I would but the scale only goes up so high. I will be recommending Melissa to everyone that will listen, she is truly the best.

Katherine Adams I had a great experience at Evergreen Beauty College in Mount Vernon, I was seen by Jenny and she was very professional and friendly. She did my eyebrows perfectly. I was beyond pleased and will definitely be back again. I had a facial done here as well and my skin felt so amazing and healthy afterwards, it was about an hour long relaxing experience and I almost fell asleep on the table. I highly recommend Jenny to anyone who is looking for a good eyebrow waxing or a relaxing facial massage.

Michelle Greening I had a 60-minute facial with Jade Danielsen that was absolutely amazing. I don’t have a lot of skin issues, so mainly went in to relax and pamper myself. I definitely felt pampered and almost fell asleep! To compare, the last facial I had was at a Four Seasons resort and I have to say… my service from Jade at Evergreen Beauty School was just as good. Not even kidding. I recommend her highly.

Aliya Sonnen I love this place! I’ve been going here for years and have been seeing Riana ever since. She is amazing! She is so kind, truly genuine with her care and recommendations, and a true master when it comes to eyebrows. I’ve gotten facials, dermaplaining, and waxing here and have loved all my treatments. Everyone here is professional, nice, and make you feel comfortable. I live in the Seattle area, but choose to make the drive out because of the care and trust I have for these lovely ladies. I often feel like boutiques just want to sell you their products, shorten services, and want you in and out, but that isn’t the case here. They genuinely care about your skin/goals and how to care for your skin type. The deluxe facial is one of a kind and I feel sooo relaxed after and my skin feels baby soft. Highly recommend this place!

I didnt leave being bothered with the usual hair that gets left behind because there wasnt any. I will be seeing her as my usual for now on. My upper lip was burnt several times, almost each time that I went in..and if that was not bad enough, I would have to return every 4 days, because my facial hair would begin to grow back!!! Hannah Olson Joey is incredibly talented! She seriously saved the day! Joey was recommended to me by a friend after I had a terrible makeup trial with a different company. With the wedding so close, I was stressed about finding another artist. Within one minute of reaching out to Joey, she had everything handled! Its evident how much she truly cares about her clients. She did my makeup along with some of my bridesmaids, and we all looked stunning! I have never felt so beautiful in my life. She uses amazing products that I took note of because my skin felt fresh and looked smooth. Joey is truly THE BEST!

I initially selected Skagit Bridal because they had a great portfolio on Instagram with a variety of styles (and experience with older skin) -- so I knew theyd be able to do whatever we asked. They were professional and easy to chat with, too! 10/10!

Katie Combs Joey did an absolutely amazing job on my hair and makeup. I felt so gorgeous after it was finished. I am not one to usually wear makeup other than filling in eyebrows and mascara on occasion, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I loved the makeup look she did and was so happy with how it turned out. I’m the worst at describing to barbers what I want out of my haircut, and always expect a bad haircut knowing it’s my fault for not being able to describe what I want clearly, but at this barber shop they went to work on my hair with minimal direction and I walked with one of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten. Phoebe Carpenter Eells Siri and her team at The Loft are amazing. Not only do they do great work the space is ridiculously cute. Siri works color magic and is always up for a fun new cut. She sells amazing haircare products including the DevaCurl line (which is wonderful). There is always easy parking at this location making appointments convenient. The Loft salon is the most darling space Ive ever seen and has a cute bathroom for customers along with coffee, tea, & water while you get pampered. This is a great spot for your next appointment!

Davis Rebecca (Buggy) I went and saw Shannon for a haircut today. She was very personable and friendly. She also was very knowledgeable about curly hair which can be tricky. Im over 40 and shes the first stylist to rinse and recondition my hair after cutting it, to prepare it for styling because combing it during a cut breaks up the curl. One of the best hair experiences Ive ever had, and I have worked in salons for years. I am so happy that I booked another appointment with her in 8 weeks! I have definately found my new stylist and I highly recommend Shannon.
