Chelsie Allen I highly recommend KD nails! I had been going to another shop in town, but my favorite girl left, so I had to find a new place. I had been to this location years ago and wasnt happy with it, but they are under new ownership and have new staff. Love the ladies at this shop. They are so nice and fun to talk to :) They do beautiful nails! Check them out!

Alyson Marquardt I booked a waitlist late at night and got a response immediately for next morning. When I came in there was no wait and I was helped at my appointment time! Katie took my appointment and did an amazing job! The nails are copy and paste of the inspo I had and have had so many compliments! I talked to Katie and found out she was the owner. She worked very hard, gained so much experience and opened her own shop! The atmosphere is clean, calm, and she even has calls forwarded to her cell so there’s no constant ringing. This place is absolutely amazing and so are the prices!!!

Marissa Canell I typically go to Krystal Nails & Spa (which I highly recommend and wish I had stuck to my usual place). My nail tech was Trish and my sister had Ann. I asked for acrylic and coffin shaped. Everything was going well until the cuticle drill and my cuticle began bleeding and the rest were tender. Before Trish did anything else, I didn’t want them touched anymore and she talked to the tech next to us who asked what happened. The tech said “the nail polish won’t cause infection.” That was not what I was worried about, it’s now an open wound and is susceptible to infection. I did let Trish continue because I couldn’t walk out with my nails half done with nothing on there. She had to use acetone to create the French nails and it STUNG so bad. After everything was finished, I looked and my nails weren’t coffin shaped but rather square shaped which I’m not a fan of and I know there wasn’t a misunderstanding as she repeated what I wanted back to me in the beginning. I went over to my sister who was still being worked on by Ann and she showed me her cuticle that was also bleeding. I did put on a bandaid as I work in food service so I’m just hoping nothing gets in there. We both agreed they were nice and the nails aren’t poorly done but we will be sticking to our usual go to place. I did also talk to a friend who got her nails done by Ann in the past and she had the same experience and told me about another client who was worked on by Trish that she witnessed also get her cuticles cut.

Makaila Perez-Punzalan I had a wonderful experience here. Ann did my deluxe pedicure and Katie did my dip manicure/nail art. I haven’t had my nails done in a long time. I don’t normally get them done unless it’s for a special occasion, but I wanted to treat myself today. I haven’t always had the best experience when I’ve gone other places and I’m rough with my hands, so I don’t normally go. This appointment changed how I feel about it getting this done for myself. The atmosphere is clean, calming, and inviting. Everyone was sweet and they did such an amazing job. They have their menu and prices in the front of the salon, as well as a menu sheet and pamphlets with the details of each service and the price. I highly recommend this nail salon and this is my new go-to salon!

Judy Price I booked an appointment with Katie based on a review on this site, and the choice was well made. Katie is indeed very gentle, patient, warm, and friendly. She did such a great job on these tiger eye nails (the stripe actually moves,just like the gem!), and followed up with lotion and some massage on my hands. Fabulous! Im hooked!

She took her time and really did an amazing job on my nails and cuticles. Also took out my ingrown toe nails that was such a relief. She’s the first nail artist to take time and care about my nails. Cynthia Anderson Su is wonderful! She genuinely cares about your nail health and wants to educate you on how to make your nails stronger. I will definitely be going back to her! She pays attention to detail and does a great job with cuticle trimming. I went for a gel manicure and pedicure and was so happy with how they turned out!

Azita McDowell Unfortunately my nails are already lifting after not even two weeks. The sides were also not filed down. I also got cut bloody during my pedicure and getting my nails done. I didn’t expect this service after reading the reviews. Definitely won’t be coming back and won’t recommend.

Sandra Cardona Jenny is amazing at hearing out what you want. My husband and I are very specific with our pedicures. Jenny goes out of her way to get my husband’s ingrown out and clean around the nails really well. While Lisa does my pedicure. She is also great and gives good conversation while getting your service. Jenny also did a short full set.

I waited almost a month (23 days to he exact) after going to rate this place to see JUST how long the gel withheld. And Ive had 2 very minor chips and THATS IT!!!! Especially hard since i work in water and my nails normally dont hold on to gel longer than a few days, a week at the most!!! I WILL be coming back!!! Pics of the day of an today!!!! See?? Alison Gutierrez I have been going to Karina for years and have watched her business blossom into thee most amazing empire of nail bosses. She is so happy and eager to teach the next generation of nail techs. The cleanliness of the shop is impeccable and the quality of the work produced is unlike no other. I ALWAYS get compliments on my nails. She has techniques that i haven’t seen any other techs use. She is literally the nail boss. I am so happy and excited for her to do my wedding set.

Carmen I was really looking forward to trying this place. I booked an appointment and the experience was horrible. I came in for a full set and pedicure. 5 hours after I sat down I was still getting my nails done. I had to leave without a pedicure because it took so long. There was no heat and it was snowing outside, it was literally freezing. The nail tech I booked the appointment with had a picture of what I wanted ahead of time and said she could do it. The finished result looked nothing like what I asked for. It’s only been 5 days and my nails are already lifting. I 1000% expected better work and a better experience from all positive reviews and pictures I saw prior to coming in. The only best things I have to say about this place is my nail tech was nice and the establishment was very clean and spacious. She just needs a lot more practice. Transparency on skill level would’ve much appreciated as I’m extremely flexible and understanding. Including pictures of what I asked for vs. what I got for reference.

Mari W I’ve been here three times so far, for an acrylic set and two fills, and it’s been great every time. Super high quality and they hold up really well. I’ve gone 4 weeks between each fill and they still look great when I come back in (aside from being long and grown out of course). The acrylic does not break or lift, and the polish hasn’t chipped or worn off. I’ll keep coming back!

He was very thorough, asked little things like if I wanted more rounded coffin shape or more square coffin shape, he did wonderful on the shape and design, and he kept checking in throughout the whole process to make sure everything looked how I wanted it to. He was paid a lot of attention to detail and was very gentle compared to most other people Ive had before.

Jamie W Got my wedding nails done here. The gentleman who helped me did a good job of creating the design from my inspiration photos. He helped me decide which fingers to leave blank and which to do more detailed designs on. Also very fast experience and no issues with rubbing my skin with the file like Ive had at some other places. Very reasonable prices here too. Overall I was very very happy with the outcome and got tons of compliments. I wore them until they grew out and had no issues with breaking or chipping. The shop is clean, peaceful, and the music was nice.

Taylor Winkler Viet Nails does a wonderful job, but you need to make an appointment as they are usually too busy or understaffed for walk-ins. I love coming here for my acrylic fills, they look great every time. I’ve worked with Nguyen and Nhu and both ladies are very talented! Fills are $45. I had a pedicure here once too but it took two hours when combined with my fill, so a little too long for me to do that again.

Taylor Hauck So so happy with my experience. All the staff were so kind and accommodating. I got a pedicure and a fill and both services were very thorough. Also VERY affordable. With what I got done and the amount of work they put in for me, I was expecting it to be way more than it actually was. Very lovely people and I cant wait to go back!

Sazia H Ive been going to Viseys for over 3 years now. Absolutely love their quality of work, the products they use and their personalities. Plus they play great music! Theyre only 2 of them - doing great work so they get booked fast. Definitely CALL in advance for an appointment, its worth it. I always call ahead to make reservation, and sometimes I get lucky and they have same day slot.

Carol N Visey does my nails and she is so talented. Always impressive work. My nails have really improved they dont break anymore. No acrylics, just natural nails are done in Viseys Nail bar. Always book an appointment before you go, no walk ins.

A. Matt Pedicure itself was done ok. Literally what you do to yourself, nothing extra, short leg massage, but no leg masks, hot towels or anything. Barely used any lotion during pedicure. The bottle was clearly empty and making the noise of being empty and yet she used the tiniest amount instead of opening it and getting more, which wasn’t enough for my legs and feet. The ambience of the whole salon is off. No music playing at all. Literally sitting in silence during the short pedicure. And the decorations are excessive and clunky, got bad vibes just how it was presenting itself. Another big issue is the chairs, regular couch chairs that aren’t very supportive nor are they comfy they are not massage chairs or the mechanical chairs you usually find at nail salons. And then to top it all off my pedicure cost $80… literally did a scrub and lotion and then did gel polish was in the chair for maybe 30 minutes. $80 is excessive for literally getting nothing extra done. I’m new to Tacoma so I called some salons after my experience to see if that was the average price for a gel pedicure. It is not. All the places I called said they’re deluxe gel pedicures are $55. I feel like I got SCAMMED and I am not happy with that. I definitely will not be going back to this place for a pedicure or anything.

rachael meek I have been trying to find a new nail place in Tacoma, and with all the high reviews I had high hopes for this place. The techs were very nice and my pedicure was great. But when you pay $105 for a basic pedi and dip nails I expected better quality. They also wanted to close early for Halloween and I felt rushed once finished and was not able to sit and let my toes dry. My nails are an absolute mess, specs of dust and black dots in them, color on tips of nails was filed down too much, uneven thickness and stuck to my skin. I will not be back.

DeAnna Moved to Tacoma a few months ago and my mom took me here. BEST DECISION EVER! I go every two weeks and my nails always look amazing. Nancy does amazing work. She can do any design you show her. And she even gives ideas as well. Definitely the best nail salon.

Fre sha vaca do The space is so peaceful and cozy! I got my nails done by Nancy for my 19th birthday, and she did so well! Shes so sweet and was totally able and willing to do my design. I have incredibly small hands, so I was a little concerned on whether my design would be too difficult due to some small details, but she executed them flawlessly! Absolutely recommend this place!!!

Reasonable pricing for other services as well. A way to relax is get a spa pedicure which is pretty awesome, comes with a foot massage.

Betsy Hoffman I’m new to area. Found La Bella on yelp and since they are very close to my home and had decent reviews I decided to give them a try for a gel fill manicure.They were able to give me an appointment within a half hour and Sam did a great job. She asked me what I wanted and was very considerate. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. They are very convenient and I won’t hesitate to go back again soon.

Jamie Andres The staff were so fast and friendly. My boyfriend’s daughter and I walked in with no appointment at 3:30 pm and they were so busy. We only waited for about 15 minutes before we were in chairs for our pedicures. We were offered a drink while we waited. We got both pedicures and manicures and left super happy. I cannot say enough good things about this place! Definitely will be recommending La Bella to everyone.

They truly go above and beyond to satisfy their customers, plus theyre technically proficient, competitively priced AND all discussions inside the shop are in English! Even though Id like to keep them all to myself, Darys Nails Spot deserves to be shouted from the rooftops.

Wendy Wilson This is the best salon I have ever been to. Dary is so experienced and always knows what to do when dealing with my problem nails. Whenever I ask for something different its no problem. Both Dary and Randy friendly and fun to talk with. Over the past year or so, I have gotten to know them and consider them to be friends. I used to go to other bigger salons, but usually had to wait a long time even with an appointment, and then got passed from one person to another, never knowing if my nails would turn out good or not. I like being able to have an appointment and know that all of Dary or Randys focus will be on me for that time period, and I never have to worry about if my nails will look nice or not -- they always look great!

Heather Harp Im SO impressed with Dary and Randys fantastic nail salon. I had previously had a bad experience at a different nail place, so I needed someone who could fix the previous job as well as do a design I would love! Dary did a beautiful job fixing my acrylics and I was very pleased with the white/nude gel mani I left with. She asked for my input on the shape/length throughout the process and I LOVE the result! Randy is a pro with pedis. The massage was a great bonus too, hes awesome! Im so excited I found this place. They are by appointment only so I made sure to book out a couple more appointments because they are super busy (with good reason, theyre the best in the area!)

They knew I have an injury and made sure to be accommodating and gentle when doing my pedicure to make sure I was taken care of. Not to mention Trinh and her friend were able to fix my nails despite them having been unevenly misshaped. They are quite literally the best! PS.
