Laura Barr Nadya is an exceptional stylist. I have curly hair and it has been so difficult to find a stylist who cuts it how I like. Nadya has made me LOVE my hair! From my first cut with her, it was perfect. Nadya has a real eye for style and takes the time to make sure it looks flawless. Im so happy I found her!

teahna young I love Autumn!! My hair looks amazing and she’s so nice to talk to. Not a lot of stylists are familiar with working on curly hair or take the time to learn, so I really appreciate her work! I recommend her to all my curly girlies!! 5 STARS!!!

Ashley Hallock Emma is a real pro. I threw a curve ball at her right when the appointment started and she quickly figured out a great solution for my hair. I love the results! I know my hair is in good hands with Emma and I’ll be back again soon!

Cyrana Gallay Lauren is an absolute treasure, I cannot say enough about my experience with her. Ive been seeing Lauren for about 6 months (I come in every 6 weeks), and I can gratefully say the following: She is incredibly talented. Her colors and her cuts are top tier and she gives the best head massages during your hair wash. Sometimes I feel a little intimidated stepping into a new hair salon, but Lauren exudes warmth and integrity and clearly loves meeting new people and helping her clients feel their best. Every time I leave the salon, I feel that I could not love my hair more. If you are looking for someone whose going to listen to your vision and help you step into your best self, this is your girl!

Birthe McKeon Worst experience ever - HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Lets just start with the owner, Glen, throwing F-bombs left and right while working with his client (Im so glad I didnt have my kiddo tag along). The salon itself is disgustingly grimey (I realize its old but its lacking any minimal standard of clean). Stylist Kiva was forgiving at first for my late arrival (she didnt check the voicemail I left as a heads up) but did a really bad job on my hair. Instead of blonde highlights I now have patches of solid blonde and my scalp was burning when the bleach bled out of the foil. I told Kiva that my hair color takes a long time to lift to a true blonde and still, my hair has a clear orange tint to it. I sat in the chair for 3! hrs for a partial w/o cut or blow dry...an hr longer than with other stylists having more services. Follow up appointment: I call to confirm while on my way to the salon, Kiva tells me shed call me back in a minute....no callback and when I get to the salon she had left. Whaaat?? Who does that? The owner, eloquent Glen (remember F-bombs seem acceptable in his business), said he cant talk to me and asked if I want to send him an email. Nope, I chose this platform for my customer feedback.

Shauna Naf I have been coming to Harbor Moon for years. Glen and the team are fun and it is a very comfortable place to let your hair down as it were. Plus, you cant beat the setting! Both Glen and Patti have done my hair and I would recommend them both.

Greenleaf Aleksander (Alek) Straight up dont get your hair done anywhere else. Kiva knows what shes doing. Shes super efficient and sweet. I was nervous about balding and she showed me factually how I cant be balding yet. So nice. Theyre all cool in there, and the location is awesome. I go here any time I need anything done with the hair on my head.

Denise T I have been going to Ha for more than 20 years. She is my person for anything to do with hair. Ha is such a caring, positive person. It is a joy to sit in her chair and chat while getting the best haircut in Whatcom county. I cant recommend Ha enough.

Justice Westergard Ha is a sweetheart. I was immediately comfortable when I walked into her salon. She did an amazing job on an eyebrow wax and a haircut. Very fast and affordable… can’t recommend her enough.

Nicky Fox Ha did a wonderful job helping my young children stay engaged while she cut their hair. The finished product was great on my sons. She also washed and cut my fiancés hair. The finished haircut has my guy looking sharp! Not our first time trusting Ha with the ability to turn our grumpy hair styles into something more presentable in society.

Jessie Nelson Ha has been cutting my family’s hair for 20 + years. She is sweet and has such a giving heart. The salon services are very reasonably priced!

Julia Mickelson I can’t rave about Tricia enough! My 5 year old and I both got our hair cut this weekend and she did AMAZING for both of us. She was great with my daughter when she was a little nervous, and even gave her chalk hair paint at the end, which made her day. I got over 6 inches off, so I was a little nervous, but I’m so happy with it! I will definitely be going back

Destiny Ashburn 1st time to a Solon, highly recommended by a friend! I have to say Tricia is amazing! She made me feel so comfortable, great conversation, like we were friends just catching up, even though I had never met her or spoke to her before. Best experience for a 1st timer, I will deffinently be seeing her again. I lost most of my hair this year. It has just started growing back and pretty thin. Pics of before I walked in and then when I got home to show the difference.

Mira Swiecicki Jess was so great! She fixed a bad haircut, even though it was short and she had little to work with! Took the time to really evaluate it and teach me some styling tricks. Restored my confidence with her skilled cut!

Tess Cunningham Definitely check out The Grotto! Its a cute salon tucked away. Everyone is so nice and the stylists all look genuinely happy. They are also taking COVID-19 very seriously, requiring temperature checks and hand washing upon walk-in. Staff are wearing gloves, masks, eye protection and thoroughly sanitizing everything. I definitely feel safe when I am coming in for my appointments. If you have to book with anyone, check out Jess. Jess is amazing! After a decade of dying my hair jet black, I decided to join the light side. Jess was very transparent with the process and all the steps involved. She explained everything she was doing in between the fun banter! She made sure the integrity of my hair was in tact and somehow after the lengthy chemical process my hair feels healthier than it did. I appreciate the care and work she did on my hair, she is now my go-to gal!

Paige N Karly is hands down one of the best stylists I’ve ever had! I’ve had so many great hair colors with her and she’s always so great to talk to and not like other stylists I’ve had where the conversation feels very forced or routine. I recently tried out a different color that I ended up being slightly apprehensive about and when I mentioned that she took me back in and completely transformed my hair. I felt awful for not being a fan of the color once it was on my hair but she made me feel so comfortable and at ease that it was not a problem and she’d get it fixed! She even gave me some silver shampoo and conditioner to take home to keep it fresh and ashy. I would recommend her to absolutely everybody as she’s truly such an amazing stylist, as well as she is the owner of the salon!

Amber Lauff I genuinely wanted to like this place, especially given all of the positive reviews and the great prices, but I walked out of there today with one of the worst haircuts I have ever had. I came in mainly wanting my hair thinned out and looking to get a little bit of length off. My stylist and I discussed and talked about CHIN LENGTH--She even took her fingers and showed me exactly where and I was excited we were on the right page and she seemed to know what I wanted. Fast forward to my hair now being at ear length (at least two inches shorter than discussed) and just looking like it mushrooms out from the top. I have very thick hair so tend to avoid cuts that will cause my hair to thicken up at the bottom while staying thinner up top..its just not a good look for anyone. When I commented that my hair had turned out a lot shorter than we discussed , my stylist just kept telling me how cute it was over and over. At one point even saying "But its cute right?" So knowing shed messed up, but hoping the cuteness would make it okay. Now I have this effectively blunt, mushroom-y, too short cut and I honestly just want to avoid going out in public until its able to grow back in a little. Im hoping I can find ways to style it or somehow salvage it with a different salon, but Im kind of devastated. I will say, Ruby was not my stylist and I know shes gotten a lot of positive reviews so perhaps the experience with her is better. Im not willing to find out and will not ever be returning.

Lyle Postle I go here once a month, and the same awesome lady cuts my hair every time. She does a great job. Would love to give 5 stars, but there was an instance where I was very unsatisfied with someone who doesnt usually cut my hair.

Wendy Briggeman I use to go there and I loved Phaun (?)doing my hair. My hairdresser before Phaun came back and I felt obligated to go back. Her salon doesn’t do perms and I am in need of another perm so I’m hoping to go back to Todays Style. The girls there are wonderful & fun, I love them both. They are nice &, it’s a relaxed place to go and good hairdressers to boot. Prices use to be fair not too sure now. Signed Wendy & her wiener dog

Behnoosh Armani Had my 1st haircut with Ruby yesterday and I really liked how she cut my hair. She was on time, friendly and her price is also reasonable and much lower than most places. Her salon is clean and tidy. For those with curly hair like mine, she knows how to work with this type of hair. I have found a great hair dresser!

Wendy Jenkins Ruby has been doing my hair for 10+ years. I always get highlights and she always takes great care. She listens to what you want and is also very good at helping you find something great if you just want a change but aren’t sure what you would like done. She has cut my hair in many different lengths and styles and they always turn out great. The prices are the best I’ve come across as well. She is talented at what she does and she’s efficient with her time as well. I will come back to the end of time.

Gracie I always have such a great experience having my hair done by Katie. I have dark brown hair and asked her to brighten it up for my upcoming trip to Hawaii- she went above and beyond to give my hair the perfect sunkissed glow! This pic was taken a few days ago, so over a month after my appointment, and it still looks like I just left the salon! The color she did is so beautifully dimensional and all the highlights are perfectly placed. I have been so so happy with it. :) Katie is so friendly and fun to hangout with while she does your hair. So happy I found Gold Comb!!

Sammie Martinez I can’t say enough good things about Kaitlin! She listened to exactly what I wanted, fully explained what she was going to be doing on my hair and why, and on top of that she was so sweet and funny! I immediately felt comfortable with her and felt like I’ve known her for years. The whole salon has a very good vibe, including the amazing 2000’s playlist they’ve got playing through the salon (I couldn’t stop dancing in my chair lol) oh and how could I forget the super cute dog there who jumped on my lap (with permission) while I was getting my hair washed…such a sweetheart! We just moved to the area not too long ago and I’ve found my new go to!

emma capps I had originally scheduled a cut and color with Kaitlyn. After discussing the color I was looking for we decided another stylist there would be a better fit. Kaitlyn still got me in for a haircut first and did an amazing job! She was very thoughtful, and gave lots of advice for the cut which I needed because I really wasnt so sure what I wanted. I then scheduled with Marine to have my hair dyed red and it came out so beautifully! I loved that she was just as excited as i was about my color choice. I dont think Ive ever loved my hair as much as I do right now. The atmosphere there is so welcoming and makes me feel like Im being pampered. I cant say enough great things about the salon itself and both Kaitlyn and Marine.

Georgia Hume I don’t think I have ever gotten as bad of a haircut anywhere as I have here, comparable to an experience at an ultra beauty salon. Asked for layers… none to be found. My hair cut cut extremely uneven, it is longer in the front than the back. I said I wouldn’t like a blunt cut… I got a blunt cut. I asked my hair dresser to fix front pieces and she replied “It’s just the styling”, and proceeded to not fix what i asked. I’ve gotten an amazing haircut here before and the second time didn’t deliver like the first, extremely disappointed . Don’t recommend coming here if you value consistency.

She made me feel listened to and made sure I left with a style that was suitable for my lifestyle and preferences and that I got exactly what I had hoped for. Leah Ayers I just went to Lou Lou’s for the first time to get my haircut and had the best experience! I had such a great conversation with my stylist, Mimi, and i can’t recommend her enough! She was the absolute sweetest and I loved chatting with her. My hair came out great and the price is unbeatable! I had my hair washed, got 3 inches trimmed off, & had my hair straightened for only $25 (before tip)! I actually miss Mimi. I usually only get my hair cut like once or twice per year, but I’m seriously considering getting it cut more often so I can see her again. 10/10 recommend!!! Mimi if you see this, I love you!

Van City Jaeden is an amazing stylist. I feel super lucky that I found her at Blessings Salon. She is really good at color and at curly cuts and I always feel so happy with my hair when I leave. And everyone at the salon is always so friendly and cheerful—the front desk is super helpful and the salon owners seem to really foster a great environment for everyone. Highly recommend!

Nikole Watkins I was able to get an appointment with Gene for a 90 minute massage. I’ve had massages in the past at other locations and what I noticed immediately walking in with Gene was that the room was bright, beautiful and I could see the harbor! It immediately felt welcoming. He did a thorough consultation to see what areas needed the most attention during the massage. I’ve had some shoulder pain and hip pain lately and he helped me realize I was leaning left too much off my hip that was hurting, in turn causing most of my other issues. I am blown away by the natural talent Gene has to immediately be able to read body language and know exactly where your body hurts. I’ve never felt so relaxed and yet energized after a massage. I wish I would have planned my own time better and utilized either the complimentary dry sauna or steam room they have available. I can’t wait for my next appointment.

Abigail Halverson Great experience! Everyone there is so nice from the moment you walk in. As a new customer I told the front desk woman I was looking to go darker, have my roots touched up, and a cut. She recommend me to the best stylist for that and she really was. Brooke S. was amazing she took good care and time with everything she did while also keeping my price range in mind. Never had a better hair cut and color before. Will be going back and definitely recommend Brooke S for hair cuts and colors! Definitely go to the blessing aveda salon in fairhaven!

Julie Hawkes I love this salon and most of all the staff are next level. This visit I tried the new nail services and personally I really like gel nails because of my busy schedule and if I dont get gel polish the polish chips off in a day. To me I may aswell do it at home if that happens. There was not a gel polish option and I truly love the reason why which is they havent found one that aligns true to Aveda. That being said I had the best time with amazing staff and the employee who did my pedicure didnt have the tools to take off my my old gel polish which made my appointment longer. He had the most kind and amazing patience trying to get that all off! All in all a wonderful experience and got the true top notch Aveda pampering experience.

I literally have never trusted anyone but my mom to cut my hair but I’ve heard wonderful things about Kenzi and so I decided to book with her. I was a little nervous because my hair can be hard to work with but she was confident and communicated clearly how she’d cut my hair. I love the results and will definitely be seeing her again soon! Iona X I got a cut and partial foil from Kenzi on Tuesday. I told her that I wanted very natural looking highlights and showed her a photo of what my hair looked like in the past with said natural looking highlights. She confirmed she could do it and we chatted while she worked on my hair. When she showed me the initial results, I was horrified. I had bright yellow streaks in my hair that were obviously fake looking. I have natural black hair. Black hair with bright yellow streaks. It did not look natural at all and the look we discussed and agreed on was not present. At this point I was already late to pick up my kid. I tried not to panic or cry. She quickly made a darker toner and applied that to my hair. The second toner was less yellow than the first but still very far from what I asked for. I had to leave to get my kid but sent the hair salon an email communicating that I was very disappointed and unhappy with the results of my hair appointment. After sleeping on it and still being unhappy with the results, I called and left a voicemail the following day asking if the owner of the salon could contact me and provided my phone number. It’s now Friday and I have yet to hear back at all. I am deeply disappointed in the color and also see that the curtain bangs she cut are visibly uneven. This is not the cut and color that I asked for and that we agreed on. My hair is black with yellow highlights and the look I asked for, showed a photo of, and described was chestnut brown. All I am asking for is the salon contact me back and make this right. I am extremely disappointed and unhappy and feel uncared for as a client after reaching out twice before writing this review.

Lydia Tate Vermilion is owned by my favorite hair artist- Valentine! Most recently, I asked for a little shaggy pixie mullet and that is exactly what I got. They can really make hair dreams come true. Anytime I visit this salon, I get the precise image I ask for. I always end up chatting more than I intend, and that is met with kindness and I enjoy being in the atmosphere here. Don’t sleep on this and always tip your artist!!

Taran Romero Kenzi is a magician! Went to her when another salon butchered my hair and I cannot rave more about her work. My hair went from a copper and yellowy toned highlighted mess to a gorgeous ombre with cool tones which is what I wanted in the first place! Will never go anywhere else and I recommend her to all my friends. Great stylist with a great personality who makes the experience fun and relaxing. 10/10 would recommend ✨✨✨

Tianhe Yang Exceptional cuts and super friendly service. Jade is the best in town! Oanh is a virtuoso with the clippers and I get compliments after every cut. I also like that walk-ins are welcome here.

Jazze Nino I have pretty long hair and it is straight, Ive been here multiple times and one time I got my hair washed and a trim and the other time I just got a trim but the lady who did my service both times was super extremely nice, very efficient, she asked exactly what I wanted and then gave me just that. I love this place and I will continue to keep going there. My fiance also gets a skin fade each time we go there and we love how our cuts turn out every time! Highly recommend

Bill Miller Nicci is great. I tried multiple salons for a good mens haircut over my first 5 years in Fairhaven. All were good but none really did a great job. Nicci takes the time, has the patience, the eye and the skill to provide a perfect cut.

Eric Rose I needed a haircut after the re-opening due to COVID19 and was able to get an appointment 3 weeks out which was to be expected. My stylist was Nicci and he subsequently gave a great haircut wherein he took his time to "get it right". I left very satisfied. About 5 weeks later I called to make another appointment and left a voicemail. My call was returned by Nicci who before I had a chance to mutter a word told me very curtly, "Im not taking on new clients" and hung up before I had a chance to respond. I would have given Cat N Fiddle 5 stars, but after this last episode felt that 3 stars was more appropriate.

zach phillips The views are amazing but not as amazing as the stylists! My wife and I got perfect haircuts and had a blast the entire time! The interior is styled to perfection, this is an absolute 10/10

Rowan Gabriel Jones Ti did fabulous job on my hair. I am particular about my hair and this was the first time that I had gone to her for a cut. I gave her a few key points about what I was looking for and she delivered like it was one swipe of the scissors. Ive also gone to the young man who works at Cordata Hair and he does an excellent job, as well. He seems to do well with young mens cuts, in particular, and I see Ti work more often with women, but she obviously does a great job with mens cuts, too! Cordata Hair is where I am going for haircuts from now on and I will tell everyone I know to go and see them!

Angel Hayes Took my aunt here to get her hair washed and cut. The staff were unable to communicate with us due to them not speaking English. We requested 4 times for them to wash her hair and ignored the request every time. The hair cut was passable but again not what my aunt had requested and wasnt as short as she wanted. A Spanish speaking gentleman came in and was also not able to communicate with the staff. The lady brought a book over and pointed to a picture and said you want this my aunt said no and then the lady just proceeded to cut a little bit and that was it and ignored the request to make it shorter.We will not be back.

Emma Sundance 6 stars!!!! Honestly I wasn’t expecting a lot out of this place, I was sick of my old hair and needed a quick fix, and HOLY COW!! I walked in with a reference photo and my old drab medium long hair I had grown out since I fried it with bleach during Covid. 30 minutes later, I walked out with my favorite haircut I have ever received! I will definitely be coming back here, Ti is a magician! And!! It was only $25!!! I have paid triple that for hair I left disappointed with! I will most definitely be coming back!

Amy Henderson-Florian I visited Nectar Salon and Danielle Price who is AWESOME!!! Her studio is immaculately clean, and I felt safe and tranquil. Danielle is absolutely fastidious about cleanliness and safety. I love my cut and color! Wonderful experience in all ways! Definitely check her out!!!!
