Marissa Smedley Amazing experience with Jodi! I’ve had a full set of classics and one fill so far. She is the best lash artist in town. My lashes are so pretty and last a long time. She is very knowledgeable and uses great products and technique. She offers lash care products too! Her room is clean, cozy and cute. I would highly recommend her!

Shawna Brown I always have a great experience at Avanti salon. I live 30 miles outside of Boston and I am happy to make the drive to see my stylist- Rob. Rob is an extremely talented hair stylist. He is a master at color and has gotten my hair the healthiest it has been in years. He has perfected my blonde hair color without the use of bleach. i constantly get compliments on my hair cut and color. Rob is a miracle worker. If you want a stylist that listens and consistently delivers a quality cut and color, Rob should be your choice. He is fabulous! He is what makes my experience at Avanti spectacular.

T L As a guy with long (and quite curly) hair , Im pretty paranoid and terrified of hairstylists. Ive just avoided cutting it altogether because, when faced with a longer-haired guy, they seem to be butchers that want to buzz you down, get confused and try to give you a girly bob or something, or simply cant deal with curly hair and make a mess). After not cutting it for at least 7-8 months and starting to look like Weird Al Yankovic waking up in an alley after a weekend bender, Shannon Ellis at Avanti did a wonderful job. She is also super sweet and chill, which eased my strong anxiety and discomfort with the whole thing. Highly recommend.

Sara Tenney I moved to Boston last summer and my NYC stylist recommended Alex Stephen at Avanti. I loved my stylist and was nervous about a new person. Alex didnt disappoint. He does the best cut as well as color. I am so happy to have found a great salon here in Boston.

From Hannah greeting me with a smile, the owner Audre chatting it up with me, and Isela my stylist being so attentive and talented- I could not have walked out any happier. The vibe of this salon is so uplifting, relaxing and everyone was so kind and friendly.

Sav Marie I love how collaborative my experience with Dorothy was. She doesnt just take chances, she consulted with me every step of the way and I really appreciate how she looked out for the length she was cutting as I got rid of a good bit. Shes super intuitive and it turned out so well. Im moving out of state but would go back to her every time in a heartbeat! Very kind and professional, this is a great location. The owner, Audrey, is quite knowledgeable and runs a wonderful establishment.

Sophia Smart Kristen did a great job on my haircut! She really listened to what I ask while also making professional decisions (she’s been a hairstylist for 14 years!) on what was best for my hair to get rid of damage and improve movement. Even after washing my hair myself and my amateur styling skills, it’s so bouncy and just lays perfectly. Take a chance on her, you won’t regret it!

Danica Nestegard I scheduled a bleach and tone with one of the stylists who was labeled a “level 3 stylist”. She did not know what she was doing and was being instructed by the other worker in the salon. She had to bleach my hair twice and tone it 3 separate times. I payed about 250 for a chemically burnt scalp which oozed so bad my hair was solidified to my head the next morning. And it has a green hue to it. Come to find out. Since I rebooked in salon (didn’t realize how bad my scalp was burnt till after and cancelled my rebook right away) they will not refund me and only will offer a “deep conditioning treatment”. Super unprofessional and a complete waste of time and money. I now have to figure out how to get my hair back to normal and fix my scalp.

Amanda Bastin This is one of the best salons in Yakima, female owned and managed and they genuinely care about customer service. No matter who is at the front desk I have always been greeted with a smile and service promptly. I’ve been going to Audre for a little over a year now and I drive 2+ hours to see her and be in her cute, calm and cozy salon. Audre never fails to impress me with her styling and coloring skills and her genuine care that she has for not only her customers but her staff as well. She is always educating her staff and customers on why things are done the way that they are salon beYoutfiul and I love the family-vibes that I get whenever I visit. Audre has always done my hair amazingly, she executes a blonde heavy balayage on my dark brown hair and always gets me to the optimal blonde that I dream of!

Marty My 2 young daughters went to get their haircut and we got a horrible job. I wish I could give zero stars had to go back soon as we made it to our car because her hair was so crooked, as my other daughters hair started to dry notice that hers was crooked as well. I am very disappointed and upset!

Kirstyn Salisbury I would not recommend this place at all. I booked an all over color and haircut. When I got there I showed the stylist what I would like in the future. They did a color corrector, then a permanent dye on my roots, a Demi permanent on the rest and then a toner. The color stripper did NOTHING to my hair and the color they used didn’t take. I paid over $200 for essentially a haircut. Was told red is hard to get out and will take time. I drove over 2 hours to go to a salon my sister recommended and they did AMAZING and guess what… no red. Before photo of my hair, photo after washing out the color stripper and then the photo after the color. The color I wanted was a dark brown. When I reached out about a partial refund as I decided I did not want to go back so they could use a stronger color stripper and dye, I was told no.

Katherine Estrada Randi did such a great job. I really love when things are explained to me and she talked me through each product used and step along the way. The experience is top notch and the salon is beautiful! My best salon experience in Yakima so far!

Caitlin Beautiful salon. Very elegant and modern inside. I’ve been going to Mykala to get my hair cut and styled for over 5 years now. She does an amazing job every single time. I have very thick hair and she cuts it perfectly and makes my hair feel weightless, soft and shiny. I can never replicate how she styles my hair either no matter how hard I try. Definitely recommend this salon If you’re looking for a new stylist!

Amber Cowman I am so glad we have a salon like Mosaic in Yakima! I always walk in feeling relaxed and walk out refreshed. The salon is clean and beautiful. I have dark hair and Eden always does an amazing job making it look great.

Josie Stange I visited Mosaic Salon on Friday to see Hannah to get my hair done, Hannah has done my hair for a few years now and I always leave feeling so good about myself. Hannah is amazing at anything you ask her to do. She’s is the only stylist that hasn’t damaged my hair. She’s always recommending great products to keep my hair looking fresh in between appointments. The color is always exactly what I want. My extensions are always so blended and I always get asked if they are my natural hair. Hannah will always be my stylist and I couldn’t. Be happier I found her to do my hair.

Elicia Cross My son took my 6 year old grandson for a haircut. I always take him there, and the lady always fades and lines him up really nice. This time I was shocked at the quality of his cut! My son came home and told me the guy did his hair. I am not happy about it. His hair is not lined up or faded, and it’s just not up to standard like when the lady does his hair. I thought she was going to be doing his hair, because the man told me to hang on so he could ask her if she had time for him today. I’m extremely unhappy with this place! I noticed too that they raised prices. I always paid 20 for his hair, but I noticed a 30.80 charge to my card. I called and asked when they raised prices for children’s cuts, and she told me at the beginning of this year in January. I told her I won’t be bringing my grandson back again. He has always gotten his hair cut there too, since he was a baby, but sadly; not anymore.

Angela P Our kids love Monkey Doos! They both actually got their first haircuts at the old location a few years ago, and they always ask to come back. The stylists are great with kids and remain patient, even when the little ones get restless. Its a kid-friendly environment, with cute monkey decorations everywhere and big cars for your child to sit in while getting their hair cut. Both ours love it and always want to come back!

Evelyn B I was recommended by a good friend to go there after she got her hair balayaged and liked it very much. So I went in to get a balayage done and a haircut by Lexie. She is by far the best hair dresser I have ever been to! I wanted a natural subtle balayage and I got exactly what I wanted. The haircut she gave me was the best I have ever received. I have a lot of hair so many stylists dont want to spend a lot of time on it to create great layers, but Lexie did an amazing job and worked her wonders on it and now I dont want it to look different anymore! Overall great experience, very clean and elegant salon. I would definitely recommend this place.

Clara_Lin I walked in today wanting blunt bangs/some layers, and left with nothing new. No bangs or layers, barely any hair cut off at all. There is quite literally no hair covering my forehead right now lol. It was very rushed even tho I was the only customer there, and the lady who did my hair (Sarah I think?) didn’t even try to make small talk with me. I tried to show her some inspo pics of what I wanted, and she just brushed them aside and said she already knew what I wanted. She definitely didn’t… The only good thing is that it was only 10 dollars. The first picture is me after the “haircut”, and the second is the inspo pic I showed her. I never leave reviews, but if I could leave 0 stars I would.

Angela Villegas If I could rate it 0 stars I would! My dad went in to ask the owner if she had any appointments available and from the get-go she was VERY RUDE. My dad was wearing a face mask and she didn’t even let him get a word in before she told him “take your mask off”. I understand she has a right to refuse services to whomever she’d like but there is a right and a wrong way to word things and you would think because she’s a business owner and has been in the service industry for a long time she would know how to speak to people but clearly she does not. We have never gotten treated like this at any establishment in Yakima so we were very upset when the owner of this salon treated us like garbage. For your own good please refrain from going to this salon! The owner is incredibly rude and has absolutely NO customer service skills. 0/5 stars!!!!

Jessica Cruz Im so glad I found this place! She charged $15 for a haircut and it looks great! I got a lot cut off and she was careful not to do anything too drastic right away and cut it multiple times to make sure I got what I wanted. She is confident and skilled in her work. Her salon is really cozy and she is very nice. She was very welcoming in a genuine way rather than an over-the-top professional way and she didnt try to force me to talk or ask me a bunch of personal questions like a lot of hair stylists have done with me. It was a comfortable experience as far as letting a stranger touch your hair goes. I highly recommend going to her to get your hair cut! I will be going again!

After seeing a couple poor reviews, I can say that she is always very busy with walk-ins, so come much earlier if you make an appointment. The price you pay for the best price and cut in town. Also, the review about the masker complaining, she is a strong Conservative. There’s no way you would not know that if you’ve ever been here. Her customer base is mostly like-minded military, Vets, cops and first responders. If that offends you, hearing about her beliefs, in her business, you will be triggered.

Javier Rodela Leaving 2 stars because she can cut my hair pretty good. She needs to either rebrand her store because she has kicked me out the last 3 weeks for not accepting walk ins. I’m not showing up 30 minutes before close. I’m showing up at least 2 hours before close, and I get denied… What’s the point of having “Walk-Ins welcome” if she’s just going to kick me out. Kyle The king One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Hair dressers are degrading their customers by pointing out certain features that one may be insecure of. Super invasive questions about personal life and trauma. Also when you request a certain style they do not care and will do what ever they think looks “best” on you. Candy S Came by since I had an appt at 10am.. nobody showed up until they 10:20am... when I went up to the door the owner wasn’t even there yet and she was the one with the key. My hair dresser asked me how long I had been waiting and I told him before 10am and he said “ok” didn’t even apologize for wasting my time. Went in and before he can do anything I asked for the price Again since and he didn’t want to give me a set price he said he didn’t know but I told him I cant just pay any money he decides to charge me at the end so he told me he would charge me almost $200 - keep in mind I only want the middle of my hair lightened to match my tips... I told him I can’t do that amount which is why I told him to give me a price prior when scheduling to avoid wasting anyone’s time and he told me I would lose my deposit (even though he was 20mins late). I am completely disappointed. I will not be returning to this salon ever again. Also the way they talk to people is very demeaning. At this point my deposit was free money wasted..

Morgan Haney Judy is amazing, she takes her time so everything looks amazing! Her prices are very reasonable and everyone I know loves how she does eyebrows!! She is the only place I go to get my brows and hair done. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! ❤️

Valencia Maria (Maya) I really liked the lady who did my eye brows. She was very nice, helpful and professional but she messed up my eye brows. They were uneven. I didnt say anything. I dont know- I really enjoyed laying on her nice warm bed while she was doing my eye brows. It was so relaxing. Its nothing a little makeup cant fix- but thats not the point. All I can say is that she made me feel comfortable, the atmosphere was great, but the real reason why I was even there- she did not do a good job. So that is why I put 2 stars- for the actual service.

LLoose My hair has never looked this good. Stephanie had a great eye for detail and really did an amazing job. Im usually very meh about all of my haircuts and never expect much, but I love my new style.

Taleesa Crawford I went to Karen for a "curly girl haircut". She was so sweet and was great at explaining tips on working with naturally curly hair. HOWEVER, online it says that the haircuts were $50 and I was charged $80! I was already hesitant to spend $50 on just a haircut and when I was charged $80 I was absolutely flabbergasted! Although she was sweet and kind, I dont feel that $80 for just a haircut is a reasonable price at all. When I asked why I was charged $30 extra, they said it was because I was a new client getting a curly hair cut for the first time. I definitely would not recommend coming here unless you clarify the price before you get anything done.
