Kalie Lacey I recently had my first experience at Pure and cannot recommend Melissa enough! I have had facials before but never one that felt completely tailored and suited to me. Melissa is very kind and knowledgeable. She took the time to listen to my concerns and gave me recommendations and insight about ways to improve what I was already doing and made the process so enjoyable.I left feeling so relaxed and refreshed, I will definitely be going back..

Victoria Tristani It was my first time getting a facial and going to Pure Skin & Wellness. I received the most wonderful facial from Callie. She was very attentive and gentle during the entire process and also provided information about what products and techniques she was using during my facial. The spa was also very clean and welcoming. The room where I had my facial was clean, calming and smelled amazing! I definitely recommend this spa and getting facial done by Callie. She does not disappoint and gives a great head and neck massage!!

Lindsey Wilkins Korah gives the best hydrafacial I have ever found! Twice now I have been traveling and scheduled one with her. They are relaxing and therapeutic. She is so professional and kind! I also recommend her sugaring! Fantastic experience, Mount Vernon is so lucky to have this amazing spa!

Allyson Knutzen If you are a first time waxer, go see Madison! I was so nervous to get sugared as I have never done it before, but she made me feel so comfortable and it was honestly such a great first experience! She even offers a wax punch card which is AMAZING!!! Not only am I able to leave feeling great, but she takes the time to get to know you and always checks up on your life to see how you’re doing during your appointment. (You almost want the apt to go longer) 100/10 recommend pure skin and Madison❤️❤️

Micaela Averbeck I see Korah Knight for my facials, usually the dermaplane facial or the hydro/relaxation facial. Let me just start by saying Korah is absolutely unique and amazing! I have been seeing her for about 6 months and my skin has never felt and looked better. Not only is she sweet, personable, and empathetic, she is highly knowledgeable about skincare and techniques, and is always willing to give expert advise and education. I always come out of my appointments feeling rejuvenated, relaxed, and refreshed and she always makes me feel special. The experience and environment is absolutely magical! 10/10 would recommend this amazing woman for all your skin care needs!!

Lily Erwin This place was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The man I met was so incredibly friendly and chatty, he did exactly what I wanted (I got my split ends trimmed and bangs!!) and he even recommended layers and I HAVE NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD IM TELLING YOU. This was LIFE. CHANGING. And it was incredibly cheap too, only cost me 52 bucks for all the stuff I got! From a picky hair person, this is definitely my go to from now on

Candice Caplinger Best nail salon I have been to in a long time. You need to make an appointment. Its about a 2 week wait. This is a 1 girl shop but worth the wait! Best in Skagit Valley hands down! I feel like Im sharing my secret! Salon is clean and so relaxing! I have been to almost every nail salon in Skagit and this is my favorite by far. The hand drawn designs are amazing!

Gracie Delafuente They don’t have many colors to choose from, I was asked to pick a color from their samples and they picked out a different color than what I wanted. I just wanted a brown, not an auburn. I got my nails done on Tuesday and they are already chipping and I don’t do anything crazy for work. Pics included. Overall the whole experience was awful, she got glue and acrylic all over my fingers. I went with my mom who goes all the time and she wasn’t rude to her only me

Family run business with a couple and the parents as technicians as well. They offer their clients tea, coffee, and champagne, beer, and such. A nice touch. Axel Pierce I took my girlfriend to JB nails, and it was an amazing experience! The staff was friendly and professional, the place was clean and stylish. They also offered a great selection of drinks, that were FREE!!! And their mimosa was absolutely fantastic! My girlfriend loved her nails—they were beautifully done with great attention to detail. And when you walk in there is no chemical smell like some nail salons have.This salon is probably the BEST you can find in all of Burlington. This is my new Favorite salon. Definitely coming back again!

Michelle Gay I went here today for a gel manicure and fill with a cuticle trim. I get one every two weeks but thought I’d try this place since it’s new. I had a pedicure here a few days ago but it’s hard to find someone who can do nails without making your hands look old and fat. I saw Gwen and she did a great job! There were no rough nail edges when I left (which happens sometimes, so I’m very glad she paid attention). The service was great and I received a complimentary glass of wine. The salon is brand new and extremely clean which is a gold standard. I have been in dirty salons before so cleanliness is really important. My service was only $55, which included gel polish, cuticle trim and fill. Very affordable. I’ll definitely go back and ask for Gwen.

Resseya Kramer Absolutely Amazing Experience! I was kindly greeted when I walked in! First thought is how clean and neat and organized everything is! Everything looks sanitized and cleaned. The staff are phenomenal! I got a fill. I was in and out fairly quickly. They have a lot of color options. It’s smells nice. 10/10, definitely gonna recommend this place to my family friend and I’ll be back! Update : I went back and took my husband for us to get pedicures! The massage chairs, feel amazing! I felt relaxed and refreshed! Definitely going back

Kaiti Sutton If I could give them a negative 2,000 star I would. I got my nails done with my daughter on Saturday 7/13. While I was getting them done he was rushing so fast he was burning my nails. Then told me not to move because he didn’t have time for me to move even though he was hurting me. I got there at 10am. The only people in there was a pedicure, myself and my daughter. Then another customer came in and they stopped helping us to help the people with pedicures that came in after us. We got put on hold for almost an hour and a half. The 3rd girl that came in ended up leaving after almost 2 hours because they wouldn’t help her and she had plans and couldn’t wait any longer. By Monday 7/15 I had a chipped nail and my daughter had 2 nails pop off. I went back in Tuesday 7/16 to get them fixed and they told me I had to pay $7 each to fix them. So on top of the $134 I paid 3 days ago they said it’s not their fault and I have to pay an additional $21 after 3 days. They said even if it was 30 mins after I left they wouldn’t fix them. They said it’s not their problem. He screamed at me and refused to fix his horrible quality of work. He was the most disrespectful human I have ever met. Followed me into the parking lot screaming at me. I have never had a nail salon have such terrible quality, service and behavior. You should be able to have your nails last longer then 3 days without them popping off. He told me to never come back and trust me I NEVER will! Beware with this company. You will regret going here. I promise!

Candela G Thompson Tracy did my nails and the gentleman painted my daughter’s nails and toes. We didn’t have an appointment and we were greeted and seated right the way. I wanted a full set and I explained to her that I do weights lifting and I was afraid of breaking them. She suggested to cut them in the shape I wanted them but not pointy to prevent them from breaking and suggested making the coat very thick to make them more sturdy. She took her time to be precise about her work but she was also a very fast worker. She was very patient and asked every step of the way if I needed to make changes. She was very friendly and made me and my 8 year old feel very comfortable. I will make the drive Whidbey Island to have nails kept by her any time. Worth the drive. Also, make an appointment if you want to see her, she is very requested and it was sheer coincidence that she was not booked when I walked in.

Douglas Palmer Wasted $20 for them to slap clear polish on and send me on my way. Well actually they didn’t send me on my way. The one man out front texted on his phone until I asked if I could get another top coat put on so my nails were not so rough. There is even a hair under the clear polish on one nail. I will never go back to this place ever again.

Abbi Vancooney Lucy has done my nails twice and both sets were beautiful. She pays attention to detail while still being quick. When she took off the old set she ripped them off instead of soaked like i asked so my nail bed was a bit damaged but thats okay. The atmosphere in there is calm and welcoming and they make sure you’re comfortable. This set was $55

Lizbeth Alvarez Most terrible place to bring anyone to my child had three different technician work on her none of Her nails were even it was absolutely terrible. I went to get my money back. I paid $70 for them to give me $50 back. I was not having it back and I will never go back again.

Katherine C After 2 failed nail salon experiences, I was excited to try this place as it got many great reviews. After my visit, I’m not sure how this place got such good reviews when my experience was TERRIBLE! I came in and there were only 2 nail techs. I didn’t mind waiting as they worked on other customers. The pricing was also reasonable so I was looking forward to see what the hype was all about in their work. Someone (random) came in from outside and began to do my pedicure. As she began my pedicure, I noticed she was extremely hesitant to cut my nails or clean my cuticles. In addition, she was unsure of what equipment or soaps/lotions to use (the other tech had to talk her through how to do a pedicure). I quickly noticed her very dirty fingernails and odor that made me extremely uncomfortable. On top of that, there were flies flying all over the nail salon. All of this combined, it got so bad that I told her to stop mid rinsing off my feet and that I needed to go. The male nail tech walked me to the front where I told him about the experience and the sanitation issues. He told me it was her first day on the job and that he was sorry. He went on to still charge me!!!!!! I was extremely disappointed about the experience and the fact that he made me pay full price on top of that did NOT seem appropriate!!! I do not plan to go back here anytime soon or recommend this place to anyone!!!!

Ciara (Lovebug) Great place, I’ve gone here for years. I get my nails done and pedicures and it’s so nice to be able to go in and feel comfortable. It’s welcoming environment and they are always friendly. It’s a nice place to go to when you’re in a time crunch I was able to get my nails ( a full set) and my toes (French) done today in just under a hour. I’m very happy with them beautiful nails and toes ☀️

Naomi Barker I have been going to this nail salon since 2017. Tan and Steven are the owners, are always very friendly and have always taken great care of my nails for manicures and pedicures. I come back every single month to them. Worth every penny! I recommend them to all my family and friends and now have several friends who use them every month on a regular basis to get their nails done. I even get my eyebrows waxed here once a month. I have tried several other places and they just dont compare. Their rates are more reasonable than other nail salons!

Martha Flores Why are we not using cuticle softener if we are cutting cuticles? I wanted to jump out of my chair as soon as I saw her grabbing water that my feet were soaking in to “moisturize” my cuticles. I paid for a service that looks like something my toddler could’ve done.

Kayti Chanel is the best gel manicurist, EVER! They always take their time making my manicure perfect. The place is very clean and all staff are nice, very affordable for how long it lasts (3 weeks)! I was really nervous to get it done before my wedding and it was the easiest part of the whole planning, Chanel made it stress free and natural.

Cristina Ocaña A mediocre manicure. I got a regular French, which was done in an unconventional way and with leftover polish in the surrounding area. Chunky white edge is probably going to come off right away. Communication with the manicurist was very poor. I had to keep asking to redo, and overall she didnt seem to be in a good mood. Im definitely not happy, not worth it. Maybe their specialty is gel/acrylic, but not regular manicures.

Jennifer If I could leave a 0 stars I definitely would. My friend and I walked in a couple days ago and we both wanted the same nail shape but different color. They weren’t making small talk to us at all not sure if it were the tattoos my friend and I had all on our arms.. but whatever it was It was not professional. My friend understands Vietnamese more than she speaks it. “They’re hands aren’t pretty at all” “why do they want the same nail shape” “they look like trouble don’t they” is exactly what my friend understood from that lady. Don’t go here if you have tattoos, have dark hair and look like trouble.

Lorie Talbott Sorry for the poor review. Let me preface by saying that I did have a very good one there once. However, this time was only 20 minutes from start to finish (plus dry time). My feet were still dirty and not at all smooth. Even though it was only a basic pedicure, my feet should have at least been clean. I left two messages and have gotten no response. Very disappointed.

Nail Masters in Burlington will be our go to from now on. While I just get the regular, he gets the Deluxe and they do an awesome job taking their time and making him feel welcome. Romina I just recently moved to Mount Vernon and have been having a hard time finding a good nail salon. I’ve tried multiple salons up here but unfortunately none of them worked out. I found nails for you and read through their reviews and decided to give them a try. WOW! I wish I had found them sooner. Kim did an amazing job and she was so helpful with explaining the different options I had to get exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be a regular here now. Narya Brown Had the worst pedicure was sloppy, fast no care for the service she was providing . the gel polish looks horrible looks like my four year old daughter did my pedicure. A gel pedicure cost almost $100 so frustrating even after having the technician fix the polish 3 times still looks horrible was going to get my nails done but canceled that service paid for the pedicure and left .I have been so happy with this salon in the past.The Kim’s have been great in the past and do a good job and take pride in their work but it’s time to find another place that care about the quality of work they are providing

Brooke Todd So to be totally honest, I was super nervous coming here bc of all the bad reviews AND Im really picky already. But my experience was amazing. Its actually my new favorite nail place in all of skagit (and Ive been to pretty much every one). It didnt smell overly like chemicals, it was as clean as any other nail place. It was super quiet and peaceful as well, which was amazing. I picked the color and shape and said to suprise me with a design and it turned out amazing. Loved it!!!

Kristina Ellis I’m not one to leave negative reviews but I have never felt so disrespected and upset about a service in my life. This was not my first time getting acrylics at MV Nails so I was excited to pamper myself before a vacation. I had a pedicure that was great, but the service I got from the nail tech for a fresh set of acrylics was atrocious. From the start she treated me as if I was inconveniencing her time. Then when I asked for her to go a bit shorter she gave me a hard time and told me she would file them down later which she didn’t. She pulled and pushed my hands around aggressively and would tap me with her file anytime my finger wouldn’t be perfectly relaxed. She took 30 minutes longer than the person who started at the same time next to me and my nails turned out awful. They are wide and lumpy and she didn’t file underneath correctly. To top it all off when I went to pay I gave her a $10 tip and she looked confused and took my receipt to her coworkers to shame me about while I was waiting to be told I could leave.

Brittany Waters I first used MV nails in February 2020 before Covid for a pedicure and a gel manicure. Had a great experience and I sought them out due to their raving reviews so I drove 45 mins to use them. I took a break from nails for awhile but I recently got them again. The first time I went they put on a full set. It was OK minus the fact that she left a GAP in between every one of my natural nails and the plastic tip, causing dirt to be trapped under there that I had to constantly scrub out. When I went back for the first fill, the tech did not notice this mistake and i again went another 2 weeks with gaps under my nails and dirt to scrub away. When I went back for my second fill, I pointed out the mistake and he fixed it. Thank you! BUT. I had a appt at 3 pm. I called to say I was running behind so we settled on 3:30. I arrived 3:05 and was sat immediately but then was made to wait for 20 mins while the male tech took a break I guess. Then 15 mins into my service, 2 clients walk in and say they have an appt at 3:45 pm for 2 full sets. He immediately starts to RUSH.( I’d like to add that I also do not get nail polish or design, because they can not do the designs I want so I get plain nails, no polish at all!) now I’m sitting for my pedicure that I had to wait over 30 mins for, that’s fine because I’m getting a massage, but I’m looking over my nails and I noticed the sides were not filled smoothly at all. They are all CURVED and bumpy! It’s now approaching the end of the night about 6 pm and the male nail tech who did my nails is getting ready to leave. I lean forward to tell my pedi tech that my nails will need to be re-filed before I leave. She looks at my nails and then reaches into her caddy and HANDED ME A NAIL FILE SO I COULD FILE MY OWN NAILS. And then they charged my 45$$!!!!! For a fill with NO POLISH OR DESIGN and I HAD TO FIX IT MYSELF IN FRONT OF THEM. IM FLABBERGASTED. These photos were taken 3 and 4 days after that service on 8/21. Acrylic is LIFTING and TWO NAILS HAVE BROKEN IN HALF. Do not recommend and highly and sorely disappointed !

Mckenzie Rojo This is the second time my mom and I went to this nail salon for pedicures. We did not have an appointment were just looking to do a walk-in. The male employee said "they were too busy" and turned us away. Not letting us book an appointment or saying to come back later! Very disappointed in the fact that this is the second time they just refused to seat us or give us an estimated wait time.

jen for starters I came here because I had previously had a fantastic experience with the guy that works there, he really knows how to do nails. I came in asking for a blue French tip with a design and I completely understood if the design wasn’t possible but I was hoping that the French tip would be something that they could do since it’s pretty much a basic but even that it wasn’t done well, I had been there from 2:50pm ish and left at 5:10 I don’t understand how it took so long and this is what I came out with. The nails were super bulky and the French tip was horrible, I had to ask her to just paint the nail completely blue because of how poorly she had done it. If you don’t know how to do some thing, you shouldn’t agree to do it I could’ve easily just asked for a solid color and walked out happy.I was still charged the complete $70 I understand this is somebody’s livelihood but at the same time it sucks walking out with some thing that you hate, if you go here make sure you’re asking questions and looking at your nails throughout the way so you don’t waste your money.

Erin Williamson They did there thanggggg on my nails very fast and professional. Definitely will be coming back for a fill!!!! Don’t sleep on this nail salon there amazing with limited nail salons in the area make an appointment asap.

RMS I have visited Jabooda a few times now and every time is a pleasant experience. Everyone is very welcoming and pay great attention to what the client is asking for. They are also very flexible and professional in interacting with customers. I came in recently and asked for a pink and white French with a simple letter design and absolutely loved the outcome. Thank you for your wonderful service and your awesome work!

Sheree Came here on my birthday for a little pick me up and got a full set and Pedi. The customer service was great. The vibe was nice and chill and my nails were amazing. My pedicure was very relaxing and detailed. Well definitely be visiting again!

Amelia K Mia did my nails almost six weeks ago and they are still PERFECT its like magic. I got a full set of acrylics with cateye gel. Love you Mia, I wish I still lived in the area!

Amber Huff I called to get an appointment the beginning of February 2025 and was told it was a walk in only service, so I asked if thered be time in the next 10 minutes to an hour, to gage how busy it was... The gentleman told me to just come in. So I arrived and was told immediately there was no availability for the rest of the day ( I called shortly after noon and was literally at Costco across the street when I called). My mobility is very poor and being told to come in for literally no reason was very upsetting. I will never return nor will I ever recommend this place.
