MIRIAN AGUIRRE My visit to Kaiser Clinic was very well. The nursing team demonstrates care when my blood pressure marked too low. After I explained I usually have low values, they checked several times until they were sure I felt ok before to leave. The provider I visited listening me and my concerns, were very receptive and discuss with me his recomendaciones. I really liked the use of a new technology that transcripts what I said, in that way I felt the provider was listening to me and not writing notes. Renton team did very good job. Thanks.

Vuong Vo I have been dealing with hiccups for the past 3 years that occur daily. Justrecently, symptoms have been getting progressively worst where my hiccup start upon waking up and dont end until I use the gag reflex to vomit so that I may go to sleep. The hiccups started out very mild and would last hours when first onset. Ive seen countless Kaiser so called "Doctors" and have tried over 20 different medications with no results in helping easing my ailment. Lately, I was in Urgent Care twice in the 2 past months with the last visit Doctors actually found Lorazepam stops my hiccups. The Urgent Care doctor and 2 other doctors for my follow up visit actually refill my prescription at a week amount at a time. I had to have a in-person visit to my PCP, who was an actual fill-in PCP for my regular PCP because he is on maternity leave. For the visit I was asking for a supply of Lorazepam to get me through to my GI visit which is a month. That PCP started to become combative and stating the medication is to addicting and she would even never give it to her family members. It took me 3 years and countless drugs taken to finally find something that actually works on stopping my hiccups, other than vomiting. As a medical doctor their oath is to help treat ailments, not to leave the patient to treat their ailments on their own. So this PCP rather have me vomit multiple times a day for the next month until my GI visit. She now has added to my chart Im an addict due to me reaching out to previous Doctors who actually cared and prescribed the Lorazepam, saying Im showing signs of an addict by asking different prescribers. I am not an addict, I am a person who is desperate to have the only thing will help my hiccups stop, instead of vomiting multiple times daily. Maybe they will care once my esophagus and stomach lining need surgery to fix.
Common Complaints:
Limited Provider Network:
Restricted Choice: Kaiser Permanente operates with a closed network, meaning you have to see doctors within their system. Some people find this frustrating, especially if they have an existing relationship with a doctor outside of the network or need to see a specialist who isnt part of Kaiser Permanente.
Inconsistent Support: Some members have experienced poor customer service, including long wait times on the phone, difficulty getting issues resolved, and unhelpful responses from representatives.
Billing Problems: There are occasional complaints about billing issues, such as unexpected charges, difficulty understanding bills, or disputes over what is covered by insurance.
Long Wait Times:
Delays in Appointments: Members have reported long wait times for appointments, particularly with specialists. This can lead to delays in receiving necessary care, which is a significant concern for those with urgent health issues.
Overcrowded Facilities: In some locations, Kaiser facilities are reported to be overcrowded, which can lead to long waits both for scheduling and during visits.
Care Quality Concerns:
Impersonal Care: Some members feel that care can be rushed or impersonal, especially in high-volume facilities. This can lead to a feeling that their individual health concerns arent being fully addressed.
Difficulty in Getting Second Opinions: Because Kaiser Permanente operates within its own network, getting a second opinion from an outside provider can be difficult, which some members find limiting.
Very Specific Negative Experiences:
Feeling of Being "Lost in the System": Some members describe feeling like just another number in a large, bureaucratic system, where their individual needs and preferences are not adequately addressed.
Issues with Continuity of Care: With Kaiser Permanente’s model, members might have different doctors or care providers at different visits, which can lead to inconsistencies in care and frustration over having to repeatedly explain their medical history.

Anita Well organized Medical Clinic with most services. They have a lab, an eye clinic with a very nice optical department.
To do further testing that requires more sophisticated machines like mammograms, bone density scans, CAT scans, etc. you need to go to their larger facilities. My favorite doctor there is Dr. Abrams. She is a very kind caring and knowledgeable physician.

Justin Fu Kaiser Permanente Renton clinic is a great place to give and receive care! I received my flu shot here last fall and the medical assistants here took care to make sure I got my recommended immunization quickly and efficiently. There is always ample parking for both patients and staff here as well.
