hitoe hattori I was excited to find a nice nail salon, but unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. When I got my nails done, I asked if the large nail charms might fall off easily. The technician assured me, “I’ll make sure they won’t come off.” Trusting their words, I paid extra for the charms. However, just over a week later, the charm on my right hand fell off, and a few days later, the one on my left hand did too. Now, the exposed gel design is sharp, and I’m at risk of getting injured. Not only did the nails not last, but even after paying over $120, they refused to fix them because it had been two weeks since the appointment. They told me that they could only fix it today. Even though they admitted it was the nail tech’s fault, they still said they wouldn’t fix it if I couldn’t come in today. So I have to adjust my schedule for their mistake? Seriously? The customer service was absolutely terrible. The quality and customer service were disappointing, and I cannot recommend this salon.

Cierra Sharene First time here and satisfied with the service. My nail tech, Chloe, who I believe is the owner, did an amazing job! Staff made me feel welcomed and the environment is cozy and modern! Recommend! Nail set is builder gel on my natural nails. Color B22!

Loryta Anne I had a fantastic experience with Mimi! She did an amazing job with my dip powder nails, paying close attention to every detail. Not only is she skilled, but she’s also incredibly friendly, making the entire process enjoyable. I’m definitely coming back to have my nails redone by her. Highly recommend!

Enoala Zanesco Really disappointed with the result. Got a simple gel mani/pedi, don’t know if the technicians were rushing or just not paying too much attention. Wasn’t offered anything to drink while there. At the end the technician offered me some water but couldn’t really drink it bc was getting the finger nails done. The place is beautiful and clean but the service was not worth the $100$++ Still left them a tip but def not happy with the results

Line I recently visited Lina Nails for the third time, and I must say, I am consistently impressed with their work! Every visit has exceeded my expectations, and the quality of their services is outstanding. Even though I live in Kirkland, I dont mind driving to get my nails done here because its worth it. The staff is always friendly, professional, and attentive to detail, ensuring that I leave with beautifully manicured nails every time. Sayaka K I really hate to leave a bad review here, but I feel like it is only fair to let possible customers know my experience. I booked two Acrylic Full Sets with Lina Nails for a friend and I. We both received what essentially was Gel X application of nails. This is not the way I have ever received Acrylic nails done as normally it is with a liquid monomer and powder. This is not why I am leaving a bad review, but wanted to note just in case someone is expecting the same process I usually do and not Gel X application. The reason for my bad review is the quality of nails I received. A day after I had gotten my nails done, 3 nails begun peeling off. You can see in the first photo is when my thumb nail was noticed to be peeling off and then two more peeled off similarly throughout the day. I called the business and they were happy to fix my nails so I went back the next day after that. At the appointment the nail technician was nice and buffed off and redid the 3 nails. She also decided to apply two extra coats of top coat on the other nails. Not ideal in my opinion, but I didnt want to question the professional. She suggested that my nails were peeling off because I was rough with them and even typing can take them off, but I am not rough with my hands nor do I believe typing should be taking nail polish off that easily. Unfortunately it is the day after that and as you can see in the 2nd photo, the paint on a nail has instead begun to chip off instead of peeling. This is really disappointing that after a few days and even going back, my nail polish is probably just going to all come off at this point. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I was grateful that their customer service was good. I wish the same could be said about the quality of nails that I received.

rebecca myaskovsky I booked an hour before they closed because I had a nail emergency. Nikki was my nail tech and was so sweet & kind!! The service wasn’t rushed even though I would totally understand having to be quick— she took her time on my nails and asked multiple times if I was okay with length and shape. Everyone was so sweet and didn’t make me feel like a burden. I was shocked when I saw the nails and they came out even BETTER than I’ve ever had them done. Super great service:) thank you so much!!!!!!!

Her attention to detail is unmatched, and she is truly a phenomenal artist. Every stroke, every design—absolutely flawless! Not only is she incredibly talented, but she’s also so kind and sweet, making the entire experience feel personal and special. I could not have asked for a better nail technician! Khoa (please forgive me if I spelled her name wrong!) did my pedicure, and she was just as wonderful. She was incredibly thorough, ensuring every detail was perfect, and she was so gentle and sweet! The entire salon has such a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place that truly cares about quality and customer service, this is the place to go. I can’t wait to come back!

kara Milo & Nancy were my nail techs today! Everything was absolutely beyond amazing, I don’t treat myself to luxuries like having my nails done very often, today was literally a treat and the whole team went all out..I also did the head spa package, I believe the signature..my scalp feels amazing, my hair is so soft and shiny..it also came with an arm and hand massage and it was AMAZING. Milo did my manicure and it’s absolutely stunning! I cannot recommend her enough and will absolutely be going back to her, Nancy did my pedicure today and they look fantastic as well! Nancy was really wonderful with my feet, which were in absolutely atrocious condition, she made them feel wonderful and not so atrocious! I walked out feeling like a whole new person..I can’t remember who did my head spa package, but she was wonderful as well, I didn’t even know I needed a head massage, but I definitely did!

Camille Haley I went here for my first time last night and saw Milo! She did an absolutely amazing job and I came in with a bit of a project. She was so kind, attentive, and made me feel incredibly comfortable. The salon itself is stunning and luxurious. This will be my new go-to salon and i cant wait to come back!

cj xee I’ve been getting my nails done at Bloom Nail Spa for four times in a row now, and this place is truly amazing! Every time I sit down, the staff warmly asks me what I’d like to drink, and without hesitation, I always choose champagne. I get to enjoy my drink while having my nails done. Meow is the best nail artist I’ve met since coming to Seattle—no exaggeration! She is incredibly meticulous with every step and even fixed my broken nails. Meow recommended using Hard Gel Builder for sculpture, and the process was so gentle. It enhanced the shape and curve of my nails beautifully, making them look light and natural without feeling bulky. It’s hard to capture the details in photos, but I absolutely love it! I’ll be recommending this place to all my beauty-loving girlfriends!

Moni N The Best manicure I’ve had! Olga is so detailed driven and such a caring person. Before I started, she made sure I understood the service I was getting and even suggested a less expensive solution for my shorter nails, which is so rare to hear from a nail salon. Eventually, I had hard gel manicure and she kept checking with me to ensure I feel comfortable. The final result is very beautiful and high quality. Highly recommend!

Elizabeth Rider This place is totally different than most nail salons in Bellevue! They use the “Russian manicure” method so the nail polish is thin and beautiful (not thick like most dip manicures). It also lasts a month without chipping! It costs more and takes longer but it’s worth it bc there are fewer visits. The result is gorgeous.

I can’t wait to see my nail technician this Friday for some pre-holiday glam. I always get so many compliments when I have my nails done here. When I tell you I searched far and wide every placed was overpriced, and overbooked with more research I found BE Chic. Jing Yi Wang I went to get my nails done here while visiting Seattle. They took their time with the design I asked for and also did extensions for me despite my walk in without an appointment. However, my set barely lasted two weeks before my nail completely broke. I’ve never had nail extensions break this quickly before in the past, and I’ve gotten it done multiple times before, all of which have lasted me around a month. It’s disappointing considering I paid $140+tip for my nails only for them to be ruined in 2 weeks.

Karina Ness When I first moved to the area, my biggest concern was finding a new place and going through trial and error in going to different salons. I got so lucky my first try because I didn’t have to try any other place due to my first experience. My first appointment was with Kim, the owner. She was incredible and it shows that she loves her work and is so passionate about her job and her customers. It was probably the best gel manicure and conversation I’ve ever had while getting my nails done. After that, I started going to Jenny since Kim gets pretty booked because of her amazing talent. Jenny is just as sweet and talented nail tech too, and she is always cautious and meticulous in her work. I was always blown away every time I would leave the salon because my nails would last over 3+ weeks. She takes such great care of my natural nails as I don’t do acrylic, but she keeps them so strong and healthy that it looks like I do! These nail techs truly care for their clients, and you can see it as they greet them and talk with them. It’s a really great feeling to be remembered and pick up where you left off in your conversation from three weeks before and onto your next appointment. Em salon does it best. Their staff, services, color options, and quality are above all. I’m so sad to be moving away because this place is my absolute gem spot. Thank you Em Salon for the continuous great services!

Sara Hummel If you want clean, classy, pretty nails that wont break (like...EVER) or get discolored, then you need to see Anna at Bellevue Luxury Nails. Ive tried other nail salons over the years but always walk away disappointed and feeling as though I just wasted my money. I started going to Bellevue Luxury Nails around 13-14 years ago, and even kept going while I lived in Everett. Hands down, Anna is THE BEST at "pink and white" acrylics. Im super picky about my nails, but I always walk away from there happy with the quality and feeling like I got my moneys worth.

I constantly asked the lady to be careful because she was cutting me and she argued with me, telling me that she did not cut me. I also asked for snowflakes and got stars. And still got charged $70 for a design when I only got one little star and it wasn’t even what I asked for. I told her repeatedly that this isn’t what i wanted and she argued with me, telling me “this is what you asked for” Do not recommend…..

Cesia bulnes My mom and I walked in for a manicure and the ladies did a wonderful job. The staff was friendly, the place was clean and these ladies know what they’re doing! Most places (nearby) always make my cuticles bleed, but I felt no pain at all here. The price is also cheaper than most places. 10/10 experience and highly recommend

Tricia Vix I was staying at the AC hotel and wanted to get my nails done. Didn’t have time to look at reviews but I stumbled upon this place. I’m so happy I found it. The owner is so sweet and did an amazing job on my nails. (Gel builder is what it’s called) Quaint and small but with dry every penny. Nice acoustic you tube music playing in the background making for a relaxing experience. Next time I travel to Seattle I’m definitely coming back. There were 2 local folks there that have been coming for over 10 years so it was as nice to see that!

Leanna Marukyan Price is great but be prepared for what you get.The WORST hair service Ive ever had. The cut was choppy, uneven, with gaps in my hair. The hair was nothing like what I wanted. My hair turned out to be orange, yellow and grey. The dye wasnt even blended in. It was so embarrassing to go out in public that I had to tie my hair up everyday, and desperately find a salon to fix that atrocious job.

Mechelle Williams Lynns Nails is amazing! I go here for pedicures and have never been disappointed. They have always been able to get me in, even if its last minute. The Spa Pedicure takes about an hour and it is so relaxing. They take their time and really give you a spa experience. I recently had French tips done for a beach wedding and even after hours of walking in the sand, my nails are still perfect!

Sahar Baghaei Lynn is awesome. She cares about her customers and sometimes they stay passed their work time to finish nails. I am so happy with their service. Its best to make an appointment since its a busy place! All staff have experience and have been working there for a long time. Thea is great as well, she is a hair dresser and her hair cuts are amazing.

Starting from the moment we walked in they offered food or drink, were so friendly and kind and accomodating! We didnt even have an appointment and they welcomed us like family! They did a great job on our nails! Jimmy is fantastic! So friendly and funny and made the whole experience amazing! Would not have been the same without him and now we have a new friend! Our nails look fantastic and we feel great! We have found our nail place and will be going back every time we want our nails done!

Hannah Hanson Honestly one of the worst nail experiences I’ve had. They can have two stars because I came here once before and they gave me a perfectly fine manicure. But these were my wedding day nails. The first fell completely off the day of my wedding, just two days after I had them done. After not doing what I asked for on my pedicure, they proceeded to do a really bad job on my manicure. When I pointed out the flaws he said, “but it looks good from far away”…. Which just isn’t something you say to a customer, let alone to a bride. I was there for nearly 3 hours to have something I didn’t want and paid full price… and I look janky for both my wedding and honeymoon. I would suggest you go elsewhere.

Jen Garone Tried it for the first time today, got a “deluxe” pedicure for $60. Called ahead, was asked to come in at a specific time. Short wait, picked out my color. Pros: clean, didn’t hurt Cons: as more people came in (early for their time) my expensive deluxe spa became rushed and experience went down hill With wait, services and dry time for the polish, was in and out in less than an hour. I’ll go back but won’t spend any extra money for the additional scope of services as it wasn’t worth it. The others - without the deluxe service - paid $35 and $40.

B F Very clean and covid safe only one other customer at the same time. Both customer and staff masked. With a bad back I was unable to cut my own toe nails. Paid attention to detail excellent job. Instruments were very clean as well. Do not hesitate to go. First class operation all the way around.

The woman who did my nails was so kind and enthusiastic and the people working there helped me pick better colors and seemed like they genuinely wanted to help, unlike previous nail salons I’ve gone to. Katelynn Piazza Ive been consistently impressed by this salon and the quality of my manicures. Two months ago, I got extensions (acrylic tips). Ive been returning to get them filled and they last the 2-3 weeks between fills with no chipping. I typically go for a more neutral look, but decided to celebrate the end of summer with a brighter color, and the manicurist, Mai, did a beautiful floral design.

Brandy Beckstrand The ladies working here were SO sweet! The one who did my nails was extremely gentle and thorough, and checked in with me every step of the way to make sure I liked my nails. She was very pleasant and easy to sit in silence with while she worked, and also an absolute pleasure to talk to when we did converse. She asked permission to get creative and try different patterns with the flower nail art she was doing for me and I loved what she came up with! I will definitely be going back!

Grace Nj I have been going here forever and even though I might wander to other places once in a while I always come back. It’s so convenient and an appointment is a call away and I’m lucky I often get same day at times.

Jo Huang This place is also under the google name Newport hills nails. Super fair prices, and tucked in the far corner of a strip mall. Next to a martial arts center. It’s in the same complex as cloud 9 burgers and chevron. They were so nice! The only thing I wished was that the lady would massage harder. It felt like she was putting on lotion the entire time. I have a lot of circulation issues and plantar fasciitis pain, so I always appreciate a good massage. But I would still go back because it’s so close and can’t beat the prices!

Tee Monteau Great service & owner was friendly first few visits. Walk in both times. Was grateful could get me in night before emergency out of town trip. Tipped her well in return. Third time owner acted put out that I walked in w/out appointment (even though sign outside). Asked me to come back in 1 hr which I did. She was unfriendly & so rough I had to snatch my foot back at one point. Thought maybe having bad day? Regardless I won’t go back. Daughter was super nice though.

K Somsa I had an appointment and didnt have to wait long before someone started working on my nails. My nail tech took her time to try and perfect my nails, which turned out super cute. However, I do feel the price was a bit steep. I had a fill, a cat eye polish, and a very simple snowflake design on 2 fingers for each hand. My total came to $80 and I tipped $10. Ive gotten my nails done as a whole set with designs on all 10 fingers at a different place within minutes away, and my nails turned out amazing. Also, I didnt pay as much. This place will not be my go-to because I feel like its overpriced and the quality is the same as the other place I go to for less. But if you have money to blow, you should definitely come here!

Janet Carr Honestly not great. My manicure hurt because she (I believe the owner) cut them super short into the nail bed. And then shortly later all my nails started lifting up and peeling at the cuticle, which has never happened with my shellac manis from other places— it means she extended the polish onto my cuticles too much. Wasn’t offered water, my pedi was rushed and had the most half hearted massage. I was really hoping this place would be good, but am left with disappointment.

MMCC INVESTMENTS I can’t decide if the name is too on the nose or perfect!? Regardless The Nail Salon is our new go-to nail shop! Convenient location, very clean and the chairs are so comfortable. Owner are super nice and professional. Excellent mani and pedi’s!

Crystal Kaye My daughter wanted almond shaped nails with design. Paid $75 and these look like an 8th grader did them and she cried all the way home. Wish we didn’t pay or would have got partial pay back. How embarrassing and had to pay nail salon in Monroe to reshape and paint.

Bridgitte Vocalist I enjoyed my peaceful positive perfect pedicure in all pink. I purchased the Pink Me Pedicure to start my birthday. The setting, very girly pink! So pretty! Comfortable pretty chairs with massage while having our feet pampered. The ladies are friendly, wonderful massage and my feet looked so cute! Erika Montoya My friends and I came in with a 6PM appointment for 4 and unfortunately one couldn’t make it due to an emergency. The remaining three of us didn’t get seated until 6:30. My water was lukewarm, my friend said her water was basically cold. We waited again for people to become available for us, by then my water had gone cold. My friend said her water never even got warm. They did a decent job of the pedicure, cleaned my cuticles and had a nice scrub/massage. But the hot towels they used were scalding and I was telling the woman it was too hot but I’m not sure if she didn’t understand me or hear me but I had to basically remove and kick off the towel myself. It had burnt my leg slightly where you could definitely see it was red versus my other leg. They did a good job of the pedicure itself, clean job - tho they used the skin grater on both my friends and not me. The paint job was neat. All in all, place was very cute and aesthetic but probably won’t return.

Steltiva I had just moved to Washington and looking for a nail salon and this one did not disappoint. every time I got my nails done with a gelx set they lasted a month or more and I’ve never had a set that last that long in my life. i do a lot of hands on work and my acrylic sets tend to crack and lift after two weeks. the retention of gelx is incredible! it’s worth getting a new set each time. please check them out. the photos are after a month with the sets

I always appreciate the time and effort they take to get my nails done, which honestly are kind of a tall order each time. The staff is kind and friendly, the prices are reasonable and I am always happy to be able to leave a tip, because these women work hard!

Matthew My parents come quite often, its been a couple years myself. I enjoyed the whole experience throughly. I had very relaxing and calming experience. Vicki the owner has a large and caring heart. All her employees are extremely polite. A great experience to share with my Mom too. I was in need of a mini pedicure, which I quite enjoyed. Went into a bit of a trance and was able to enjoy a little bit of conversation with the nail technician. Vicki the owner shared her personal story which was quite moving to hear. I also myself enjoy lots of visual sensory so being able to look outside with all the cars passed by and the people come in and out of the nearby. Restaurants and stores was quite relaxing for me too.

E S I’ve always loved coming here. I live in West Seattle, but I honestly drive out to Bellevue to come to this salon! They are the only salon that I go to, and I always get so frustrated because every nail salon I go to I ask them to please clean my cuticles, my nails grow back very fast and they can get very built up. The other places I go to literally ignore me every time as if I had never said it. However, this place always do it when I ask, which I seriously appreciate. They also do an amazing job. I have always been so happy and satisfied with my nails leaving here. The ladies are so lovely too. This is the only nail salon that I can go to. I feel like I’m actually being taken care of and listened to. Highly recommend!

Bry Mason I went in there for a fill, The color selection is very basic as I have found better options at other salon salons around Bellevue. So it took me a while to actually find something that I liked . While using the drill on my nails, the nail tech was a bit too rough, causing me pain more than three different times. When asked if I wanted to do a design, I said yes, which was an extra $15 on top of my $40 fill. Expecting a design such as a flower or something along those lines, I agreed to getting it only to receive a pearl shimmer on two nails as my “design“ that I Couldn’t even tell the difference in color from the non “designed” nails. I then asked if this was the design she charged me $15 for and she says yes. She could tell that I was not pleased with the pearl shimmer that SHE chose, so She offered to do a Flower, which was what I originally thought would be my design, but was still charged an extra five dollars for the flowers. I ended up leaving the salon, feeling unhappy and played out of extra money therefore, I do not recommend this place to anyone as there are far better options available nearby.

Maddie Mylet I asked for French tip almond nails, and as she was shaping them I already knew I wouldn’t like them. They were so pointy and crooked. I told her I thought they were a bit too pointy for my liking and she did fix that, but they were still crooked. And the French tip is fairly sloppy. It looks okay from afar but I really am not happy with how they turned out especially after paying $80. Also during the filing process she cut my cuticles way too short and made me bleed on several fingers. Overall my nails aren’t the worst ever, but 100% not worth the $80 and I do not want these for a whole month which is what they usually last me. My friend also got her nails done and was not happy with the outcome. She got an inspo pic from their website and they recreated it so poorly. Her nails are incredibly chunky, and as you can see, not ombre at all. And while the lady was shaping her nails she was way too rough, she was making her bleed on many fingers too. And when my friend asked for her to fix or change something about her nails, the lady would glare at her and was just overall super rude.

Sharifa Llemit Would not recommend this place. Have always gone to another nail salon in the area but decided to try this place since I was in Factoria plaza already. I didn’t get the person’s name but she was not very friendly. Usually they try to talk to you but she had an AirPod on in one ear. The water in soaking tub was super hot and I asked her to lower temperature. She then worked on my pedicure and before you know it, she was pulling on my skin, supposedly removing my cuticles. There was blood that she had to put pressure on to stop it. She said it because my “blood is thin” and I told her nooo…I have no reason to have issues with bleeding. As of now, I have a bruise and looks like hematoma under my nail which is tender. Definitely would not recommend this place.

Lindsey Graziuso I was looking for a new nail salon to get a fill and shellac that wasn’t overpriced like a lot of salons in the area. I found my new salon. They had a lot of colors to choose from which is really important to me. She understood what I was asking for. (I was looking to reshape my nails slightly different than what I came in with.) She made them exactly how I’d asked for and overall I was very impressed with how my nails came out! And I was happy with the price. Other places I’ll pay $20 more and not even be happy with my nails at the end. The only thing I’d say they could improve on was atmosphere such as decor. But didn’t change my mind for returning. Deff would recommend to friends.

hana EDIT: I am so upset by this experience, I actually was excited to go get my nails done often here. However, avoid the nail technician Mina at all costs. Hopefully, she will learn and fix her attitude as well as her skills because I have never come across such a rude and undisciplined nail technician like her. After scoffing and staring at her customer, me, she proceeds to do my nails in a completely different way I asked her to do. To put it short, I asked for clear french tips and she gives me pink nails with a line drawn across. Proceeds to overcharge me a price that almost reflects a new set of acrylics and shellac, when all I got was a fill. I truly am so disappointed with my experience, and I would not like anyone in the future to make the same mistake as me and waste money on her, again. -- Best nail salon by far, Ryan is such a talented technician. My images arent the best representation of what he can do, my nails look so much cuter in person. Ive only been a few times, but I think this will be my go-to place now. Prices are reasonable, staff are kind, and Ryan can literally do any design--with beautiful results too. Highly recommend!

Brittany Got a dip done for the first time at Simply Nails as a trial run for my wedding. Staff were kind, personable, and patient with my lack of knowledge on what to do with my hands during the whole process. Extremely detail oriented on the nail art designs and their artistry and hard work really show. Already been back again! Would recommend not booking appts too close to closing on weeknights, they get extremely busy.

Regina Song Got the scalp&hair massage but it turned out something different from what I thought. The description on its website was a bit confusing. The masseuse was nice so I left a good tip. However, I had to leave this place with my hair being greasy after the hair massage because they didn’t offer shower or locker for customers who didn’t use their hydro services (I don’t remember the exact name). I spent more than $200 for the massage I got but I didn’t feel like I was treated equally as others.

Lauren Sato I try to only write positive reviews here, but I have given this spa so many chances and want to love it, but just cannot go back. I had a membership for many years, but dropped that after a few bad experiences. I still went occasionally hoping it would improve, but the last at least six times I have been over the past few years it has become so much more expensive, hydrotherapy is no longer included, and now on at least 5 occasions I have had massages in rooms next to people talking at full volume for the duration of the massage - the adjacent therapist clearly making no effort to reduce the volume of their conversation, and management not willing to do anything remedy the experience. The Kirkland location is unfortunately the same. It genuinely feels like you’re getting a $50 dollar massage, but paying $210. Please don’t waste your money.

Simone Not sure about other services but after getting a perm with Ben, I had to cut my hair as it was damaged beyond repair. Ive been doing perm for years and I also swim so I understand that there will be damaged but never to the extend that was done by Ben. It was quite obvious to me that he does not know much about hair as he insisted that I should leave conditioner on my hair and not rinse it off. Stay away!

Ila Nejati I recently had a haircut appointment at this salon, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. When I booked the appointment, I specifically mentioned multiple times that I needed a stylist experienced with curly hair, and I was assured that the hairdresser I would be seeing had that expertise. However, the hairdresser didn’t even bother to wet my hair before cutting it, which immediately surprised me, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt, thinking she must know what she was doing. After the cut, I noticed several flaws and mentioned them to her. She told me she would fix them after washing my hair, but she didn’t. I brought it up again after the cut was finished, and she still ignored my concerns. At that point, I gave up. She didn’t dry my hair, just applied some cream, which made it look awful. As I was driving home, I noticed several pieces of hair that she hadn’t even cut, and they didn’t match the rest of my hair. I called the salon to request a new appointment with a different stylist and again asked to be booked with someone experienced with curly hair. I explained that, because of my curls, it’s important to take extra time to brush through the hair before cutting, so it can be done evenly. The response I received was shocking: the receptionist suggested I go somewhere else that specializes in “your type of hair.” I politely asked for clarification, and she repeated the same statement. When I mentioned that I’ve had several haircuts there without any issues and that wavy hair is different from straight hair, I was told, "We will put that on our website." I’m honestly appalled by how rude and unprofessional the reception was and how poorly my haircut turned out. I will update this post with pictures of my hair as it is now and after I straighten it, so you can see how uneven the cut is. I hope this feedback helps others considering this salon.

Miranda Dietrich I got my hair done for a full highlight from Alia who is so nice, amazing w blonde hair, and an expert. I also got a cut. She’s so nice and easy to talk to and listens. She gives u what u want done such as 2 inches off my hair wasn’t 5 I have gotten other places. Her prices are comparable to other salons and I have seen her 2-3 times and every time, she knocks it out of the park. For some reason a lot of stylists have trouble w my hair as it tends to pull on the warm side but not her. Shes js really good and I would recommend her any day for cutting,coloring and styling needs.

Sarah Ive been going to this salon for a number of years. Overall, Ive been happy with their services. There were some hiccups, but they course corrected along the way. For hair cut and balyage, I had to try a few stylists to finally find the one I like. Although Everytime I go their prices have increased! And its getting to a ponit Im considering switching to a different place.. Ive also done facials in the past and Jenny was my favorite aesthetition. She is very skilled and takes time to answer any questions you have.

Brenna Smith I had a diamond glow facial here last week and everything was excellent. I’ve had this facial at 2 other spas in the area and none compared. The spa at Pro Club offers access to their spa services (steam room, sauna, whirlpools, showers, and lounges) when you come in for a facial (or massage) service. Robes, slippers, and all ammenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, mouth wash, deodorant, lotion, hair dryers, towels, etc) are available for spa guests. There is no membership required but they do offer discounts to members. This spa offered 3 different levels of the diamond glow facial, something the other spas did not offer. I chose the max which was 75 minutes and included an extra mask and your choice of either dermaplaning or a chemical peel. I haven’t ever done dermaplaning but have had chemical peels so I chose to give it a try. It was a nice exfoliating service and would be great for anyone who might have darker hairs on their face. I had a calming mask after the rest of the facial was complete. Some extras offered here with this facial included cryotherapy (a cotton wand dipped in liquid nitrogen and rolled over your face) which was very nice and a hand/arm massage while the mask sets. My appointment was at 11:15 am on a Saturday. I came in a bit before my facial to enjoy the Spa but know that the whirlpools, sauna and steam room are part of the gym/facility locker rooms so it was busy around 10:30am. I did go back to the sauna after and there were only maybe 4-5 people around. This should be your location for diamond glow or any other facial service!

Kimberly Ramirez Dawn was great for my pregnancy massage, I’m not a member so I did pay the non member price for massage but I think it was well worth it. They also provide a locker if you ask,there is a robe, and sandals to change into. You can still use the other amenities like sauna or spa as well but I couldn’t enjoy it this time due to my pregnancy but I will be going back again soon after pregnancy for another relaxing massage.

It’s 2 days post shellac manicure and the nail polish is peeling at the base of all of my nails. See photo. TWO DAYS. That shouldn’t happen until well over a week. Also, a woman came in yelling about how they cut her and she wanted a refund from getting her nails done. So that was fun as well, and shows the level of chaos here. It was also interesting to see how the place is slowly deteriorating. Stained floors, and the UV light they used was like, weirdly Saran-wrapped and peeling? It’s clear they’re not investing in the salon like prior ownership, so I’m guessing it’s just going to continue on the downhill trend. December 2023: Okay. BEWARE. You see all the positive reviews here? It makes you think you want to give this place a chance? I need you to know that any of those reviews that are from before like September 2023 are for AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT SALON. Hear me out. I have been a diehard regular of Medina Nails since 2008. 15 years of at least monthly, if not more often, visits. In late 2023 the owner sold this salon to new management, and they are an absolute disaster. There is not a SINGLE technician I recognize from before. They’re all new because all the amazing previous employees jumped ship. (If you’re looking for Stacy, she’s at Simply Nails in Bellevue now. If you’re looking for Amy, I’m sad to say this change made her leave the industry entirely, and I’m heartbroken). It was my last appointment that I decided I will never be returning here again. I called for an appointment, and was told, word for word, that “Amy is available at 2pm.” I show up at 2, and at 2:10 another woman walks in with an appointment with Amy. I thought she was confused, but the manager instructs Amy to do that woman’s nails first. I have a 6 month old at home, and can’t just sit around while I’m skipped over when I had an appointment. But beyond that horrible scheduling and management, I have literally never had a worse pedicure in my life from the woman who did my toes. It was actually painful every step of the way as she pulled on the cuticles, and dug under my nails cleaning them out. I was sitting there wincing and at one point as she fumbled about she said “sorry I’m new,” which, sure, LITERALLY EVERYONE IS new because this is not the same salon at all, but even if you’re new shouldn’t you have gone through some training and be semi-competent? The hilarious part is it was even more expensive than before too! So they upped the prices for shoddy work and horrific customer service. Anyway, RIP to Medina Nails, it’s incredibly sad and an end of an era. P.S. You see any recent 5 star ratings? Theyre all from accounts that have never rated or commented on any other business. That doesnt seem shady at all.... ;)

Lisa J Terrible terrible quality. I am very disappointed. The gel nails I got done here DID NOT LAST 24 HOURS... already peeling around the corners. They must be using cheap gel polish and even the UV lamp seemed janky (with metal inside that smelled bad like cheap jewelry...) They charge $40 for gel manicure on natural nails (before tipping) but it wasnt worth it at all... I had many people tell me "why are your nails peeling?" Thats how bad their manicure is... usually when I have gel nails done at other places, they last 2-3 weeks easily... not this place. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

Simone Kim They have a new owner since 12/2023 and it’s all gone downhill. They cut my cuticle and it bled and they apologized and stated she will not charge me for my manicure, but when I wanted a refund on my gift card that I didn’t use, they refused to give the whole amount back.

Abigail Camacho I got my nails done here on a work trip a few weeks ago. The first pic is the day I got my gel nails done (9/21) and the second is 3 weeks later, 10/11!! All 10 nails still look great (aside from the obvious growing out)- no lifts, peelings, or scratches!! I’m not the most careful with my nails in general, on top of lifting/working out pretty regularly, so I am extremely impressed with the quality and duration of my nails. I also got a regular pedicure, and maybe have 2 minor chips within the past 3 weeks. I came an hour after opening and immediately was brought to a chair. The ladies were very efficient, but still careful, with my nails. I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in the area!

Kiran Dubey I went the first time. I didn’t like the service. Very low energy, slow staff. I couldn’t feel the massage, felt like a touch. I had dip powder in the hand and they left under the nails filled with left over powder in addition to not cleaning it to begin with. May be I didn’t get the right ones. It was an hour and 25 mins post my appointment as I didn’t have much more time, I left. Good luck with yours.

Rachael Luna I had a massage, and it was…meh. Nothing special. The staff was nice, but the whole experience was mediocre. Noisy in the next rooms, too much light, the practitioner shuffled and talked loudly and randomly. The massage was abrupt and jagged, very mechanical. It wasn’t relaxing, and definitely not up to the standards of a high end pricey massage. I’d rate it 3 stars but the price was insane so my expectations were higher. Wouldn’t go back.

Marshall Bostons Horrible massage from Lisa. Was exactly like going to the inexpensive, walk-in, keep your clothes on type massage parlor. Not that those are inherently bad, but if you go to a luxury spa, and pay spa prices, that’s definitely not what you’d expect. Had to ask her three times to slow her pace down—it was like she was trying to start up a fire, lol. I also asked her at the beginning to focus on my neck and back, but she processed me very systematically. I felt like I was like a task for her to complete. Not relaxing at all, and it ended with her pounding the bottom of my feet. If I’d been able to melt in at all that would have been a very abrupt finishing touch. Absolutely not a spa grade massage, and felt like a wasted hour. We were there for a couples massage, and honestly the only thing that kept me on the table was the respect for not disturbing my husband’s experience. Otherwise my naked buns would have been gone after 15-20 minutes of tolerance. Pros: atmosphere was very pleasant and peaceful, and the other staff extremely friendly. My husband had one of the best massages he’s been given. His masseuse was Patrick, who was super zen. I wanted a Patrick-like person to be my masseuse, too. If you do go here query who your masseuse will be when you set up the appointment. Just do yourself a favor and ask for Patrick.

Kayle Kendall-Kutsch To be fair, I have never had a facial or massage that I didn’t enjoy. So I may not be the most critical judge. But my facial was amazing. My aesthetician was soft-spoken and thorough. The masseuse communicated what needed to be done and was quiet for the remainder, which I enjoy. And the ambience was perfection. You have plenty of time to relax and the space to do so. The prices were a bit high I feel for the services received, so I don’t know if I’ll be back. But it was definitely an experience I enjoyed!

Rahima The nails were beautiful, yes. However, the customer service is anything but. After paying around $150 dollars for some sage marble nails, I experienced one snapping backwards after snagging on a blanket thread, taking my real nail off with it. That night, I was in the emergency room for a while, where they injected my fingertip with lidocaine (very painfully), then cut open my nail bed to try and reset my nail so my new nail (which HAS NOT GROWN BACK YET) starts to grow back properly. After explaining this to them, their team told me they dont do refunds. I was never told this, I could not find their policy online, and I wasnt shown it in store. I wasnt asked to sign a waiver of any kind. In addition they had recommended the gelX service, not explaining any of the downsides or upsides of it. I am clueless, so of course I went with what was recommended. After, at a different salon, the technician asked me about my nonexistent nail on my finger, and when I told her, she said they SHOULD NOT have recommended GelX service due to the length of nail that I chose as they would break easily. Frustratingly enough, even with a credit card statement, photos, and a discharge paper from the hospital, I have not received any compensation. In the end I paid 150 dollars to get my nail taken out of my finger. Isnt that wild? Now my hands look worse than before I got my nails done.

Kamilah Gomez-Moini I chose La Na Nail because of their design reviews. I’ve been here twice now and both times the service was great. Everyone was friendly, patient and made sure they were clear on vision before applying anything. Even when it was very busy, about 20 customers, they took their time and gave me exactly what I asked for. The salon is clean, well organized and fun decor. I get my hands and feet done once a month as a pamper day and I enjoy spending it La Na Nail. They always offer a beverage and ensure you’re comfortable. The music isn’t too loud and the techs don’t talk to you too much, I like that. I would recommend this nail salon.

Laneece Kellman Hock I was a little hesitant at first the nail tech put a few of the gel x tips on incorrectly but she did not get frustrated with me she asked for help and I have very curved nails so gel x can be tricky on me. When I walked out I loved my nails and let me tell you I’m picky and I never feel this way. I will be back, 100% recommend and let’s not forget how cute La Na Nail Lounge is.

I go here every once in awhile. the style I wanted specifically today was almost as close to the one I wanted, but still cute and she tried her best. i will say however that the way they remove nails is very old fashioned and should be changed as i feel my real nails will not be healthy when my acrylic fall off. a little pricey especially since I was given a discount and they charge for nail removal which is kind of bizarre but my nails turned out cute so that’s all that matters lol (: UPDATE: 3 of my nails broke off four days after I had them done. I went back to get them fixed and they didn’t charge, only cuz it was my bday lolol

Ali Eml The job done could be better, two days and my nails started to chip. I asked for acrylic nails and they got regular polish nails and charged me acrylic, didnt notice until I saw the reviews. The business workers sit all white people in one room and non whites in another. Never going back to a salon with all non white employees, that hardly speak English, and who segregate customers by color of skin. We are not in the 50s or before, and we are not in Nazi Germany.

Annie I have been going to see Vanessa since I was a kid and I have never changed nail salons! Not only is Vanessa an amazing nail artist, but she and her staff are absolutely wonderful people. They make you feel so welcome and aim to help you get exactly what you are looking for. I really cant recommend this nail salon enough!!

Dance Dammit I had the worst experience at this nail salon. The staff was incredibly rude, sighing and shrugging whenever I asked a question. They were condescending and even made me feel uncomfortable with their attitude. I couldn’t help but notice how sweet and attentive they were to the regular customer, while I (first time customer) was treated with complete indifference. If you’re looking for a welcoming and respectful experience, this is definitely not the place. 10/10 do not recommend.

Kendall Smith I hate leaving bad reviews for new businesses but I had such a bad experience I feel like I have to in this case. I was hesitant to try a new place but some of the reviews were so positive that I overlooked the bad ones. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst nail salon experiences I’ve ever had. All I wanted was just a regular manicure which I figured was simple enough. The staff were very friendly, but the quality of work was the worst I’ve ever experienced. First of all I asked for round nails and these are square. Even after I spoke up during the process and asked if they could be more round this was still the end result. And then every single nail she painted was a total mess. I was there forever because she spent so long trying to fix the smears and clean up the polish on my skin. But this is still the end result and my nails are uneven, not round, smudged, bubbly, and overall a total mess. Such a waste of $27. Maybe someone else would’ve been better but I would be very hesitant to try this place. You’re better off saving the time and money and just painting your own nails.

Maddie Bianchi Really hate leaving bad reviews especially since Ive come here before. I got french tips and the paint job wasn’t too great and there was only one coat so it was almost entirely see through. I was a bit upset since the nails here are pricey, but I just let it go. However, I got a fresh acyrlic set 2 days ago and when i scratched my arm one of my nails completely snapped in half because of how thin they are. This has never happened before at any other salon. Seriously disappointed.

Leigha Boss My first visit to Honey was, to say the least, very sweet. I had a colored acrylic fill by Kim & I give her ten stars. My nails came out absolutely perfect. I was given EXACTLY what I wanted and asked for. Kim is lovely, she was welcoming but also could tell I was very tired and allowed me to just relax during the process. This was the best experience I’ve had in my life of having my nails done. There were three people working in the salon and all of them greeted me when I walked in. Their own clients were in good spirits & left happy. The salon itself is stunning. Beautiful atmosphere and clean. The prices for their services are by far the best you will find for high quality. I will be returning time and time again as well as recommending this salon to everyone I come across.

Came at 3pm during a slow time and got medi/Pedi combo with extra cute Halloween themed gel nail art on all ten fingers. I was helped by John, Kim and Ivy! All did an amazing job, I really enjoyed my time there. Definitely my new favorite nail place!! Yichao Hou We had appointment at 2:30. They were clearly understaffed and put us waiting for over 30 minutes while still accepting walk ins. Whats the point of making appointments if you still have to wait for so long? The girl who did my nail did everything in a rush and caused bleeding when she cut the dead skin. They were talking in a different language all the time while doing my nails which is disrespectful. The drawing was done poorly and asymmetric. I did dip powder and they didnt do a good job cleaning up the extra powder left on my fingers. The residue was hard to clean and I had to peel it off by myself. Totally not worth the price. I paid $60 for this and there was no massage. Will not go back again.

Ani Bdoyan I had a very unpleasant experience at this salon. The owner was incredibly rude from the moment I walked in, which made the whole visit uncomfortable. I came in to get my shellac removed, and instead of using a safe method, she put my nails in a strong liquid that burned both my skin and nails. When I told her it was painful, she brushed it off and continued without any concern for my discomfort. The lack of care and her rude attitude made this the worst salon experience I’ve ever had. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone.

Dakota Kesterson I have been coming here regularly for a while. I drive from North Kirkland just to come here. Are they usually very busy? Yes! Because they are that good. I highly recommend finding a sweet spot. Call them and book an appointment. Prices are fair. Now about the nails! I get dip. I also can wear them for about 3 weeks. Because of my busy life Im fine going a little longer. My nails have always been thin and brittle. But they take very good care of me! Everytime I have a tiny split they patch me right up! They actually try to save the nail and not just cut it off! I came in one day with a bad break right at my quick. They were gentle, asking if it hurt, didnt want to use the Dremel in case the heat gave me pain. And the best part? They fixed my nail! They also have a WIDE range of colors. If you get designs like me, dont expect to be in and out in 30 minutes. You want it done good, right? So enjoy your time. I highly recommend getting a pedicure! The people; they are wonderful! They will also do the best they can. Just work with them and they will work with you! Remember you go to them to be the professional. If you have a question dont be afraid to ask.

Darlene Lovejoy Wonderful location! My sister and I brought nail decals and they put them on $3 a nail which was great! The stylists were friendly and fast. We got a gel manicure and a pedicure each in an hour and a half. Woohoo! We used Class Pass and if you are not familiar do a Google Search well worth the $!!!

Alexis Stevens This so far, has been the best overall experience I’ve ever had in nail salon. I got my dip removed, which I had had put on at a different salon. Got extensions with gel X, and a design. I also got a pedicure. I found the overall service to be exceptional, and the environment of the salon to be extremely welcoming. For the first time ever, I felt comfortable expressing exactly what I wanted. I picked a design that I really wanted, but wasn’t sure how it would look… The woman doing my nails asked me multiple times what I liked and what I didn’t like, which made me feel very comfortable. The music wasn’t too loud, which promoted conversation. My friend and I both came for services and left very happy. We will absolutely be making this our new go to place.

Kay Kay Do not go here I went here a while back and they were doing my nails with illegal products that’s why they were burning each nail they did were burning and they blamed it on my nails being thin which was a lie I hadn’t had my nails done months. They are racist to black women and people of color thinking we are less than. Soon as you walk in they look you up and down and judge you these people have nasty business practices. Prices are different than what’s on the menu, you have to ask them for the menu it’s not posted. I will never forget any chance I get I tell people do not go there. My cousin just moved in the area and told her don’t you dare go there they don’t even like black women.

Destiny D I’ve been going here since July 2020 and really like the service I’ve received. I get a full set of dip on real nails every 30 days. Every time I’ve gotten dip in the past from other places it’s lifted within 7 days, these nails last so long it’s amazing! Yes they do lightly sand the top of the nail with a rotary tool, I was worried about this (I have thin nails) but I’ve not had any issues. I am rough on my hand, I’m a jewelry artist and constantly working on craft projects and these nails last. Once my hand slipped, breaking a nail opening the car door two days after I had gotten a new set. I went back in expecting to pay for a repair and they kindly fixed it for free. I’m kind of surprised to see so many negative reviews,. Very few employees seem to speak English and maybe that’s why people are having issues with communication and customer service. The place is very clean and quiet beautiful inside. My first set of nails made me cry I was so happy I finally got what I was looking for with dip. My technician takes time to really shape the nail after applying the powder, unlike other places where they lightly buff the top and leave the nail super thick. I will admit, not every technician does dip the same here and every time I use someone else I’m not as happy. Find the tech that works best for you and always schedule with them. I’m happy I found this place!

X Xu Got my dipping powder nails here. The most precious color I’ve ever seen on my nails. Love this peachy nude, perfect color for school and work. Work’s nicely done. I’m satisfied with the shape and cuticle trimming. $40 for a dipping powder is a good deal in downtown Bellevue. I’ll definitely come back.

Elaine Boyer Wonderful people, very nice, they keep to their appointments, dont take on more clients then they can handle so they get 2 stars. Sadly, they did not do my acrylics well. While they gave me the design I wanted, he did not fix the lifting that happens, instead he just added more powder over it. Because it wasnt done right, my acrylics fell off in two weeks (first time ever that i didnt manage to go 3)and one nail now has a fungal infection. He also did the shape wrong and didnt correct it when I told him two where crooked.

Jaeleen Chhom 2 pedicures were “deluxe” but barely spent any time on my boyfriends and I’s nails. Also, made my toenails crooked. Manicure was powder, broke one of my nails in half despite being short already. Took 2 hours while one lady working on both my nails and feet. $10 for fixing my cuticles while other salons are free. Do not recommend this place

Kimberly D I use to go here all the time and would loved my pedicures, but it’s not the same anymore. I always would do the French shellac, but this time around I needed to get acrylic on one of my toes because my toenail has chipped. No mention of there being an additional charge ($20) and my French shellac was crooked.

Young Tran Jenny did an amazing acrylic nails for my daughter. They have free parking for clients so ignore the signs to pay. Very clean and peaceful. Close to the park and mall. We will definitely be back soon.

J T If I could give them no stars I would. My person, 1st chair on the left as you walk in was absolutely terrible:( It was my first treat in a year and she didn’t care about quality at all. All the tips are off a day later, she messed up two nails that she didn’t fix. Save your money and your time.

Lake Choi I used to go there because I loved the lady who did my nails and she was so friendly. I moved back to Bellevue, went back and since my lady wasnt there I got to get mine done from Nancy. She was filing my nails over too much and while using her machine she hurt my skin. I still went back because that place was the only place that has flexible hours and since she was nice I requested for Nancy once again. This time somehow she was doing my nails all different length and I asked for french nail and they were all noticeably all cricket. I kindly asked her which one is different length or cricket. She started to speak to another worker in Vietnamese. Unfortunately my friend who was there with me was Vietnamese and she told me that she was gossiping me saying I am annoying and I am asking for too much. I am paying my money to get this nail and I pay for customer service as a tip, if you are going to do my nails all noticeably all different shape and style of course I need to tell you. That lady was so unskilled and you cant tell me to be happy about what you are doing wrong. Ive been to so many nail salons for years and this is the first time going through a unskilled nail professional. She also AGAIN basically grinded my skin with her machine twice. One of my finger was bleeding so much, it wouldnt stop bleeding until I got home. She acted like no big deal and it was actually really painful for me. Overall everything was terrible. She gossiped me front of me doing my nails, hurt me and acted like its nothing, all uneven length and style. So unprofessional and rude. She was keep complaining my nails are too small so its hard. Then why are you so unprofessional? No one ever said that to me at a nail salon. Jennifer used to have amazing people there. What happened to that place? Never going back. (Also first time she did my nails 3 broke after 2weeks)

Srushtie Kale I recently visited for a manicure and was quite disappointed with the service. After paying $45, I expected a high-quality manicure that would last at least 2weeks .Unfortunately, three of my nails chipped in less than a week, which is far below the standard I anticipated. While the staff was friendly and the salon environment was pleasant, the quality of the manicure was not up to par. I feel that the value for the price paid was lacking, and I am quite dissatisfied with the overall experience.

Cindy Lee I always get great service at this salon. The women that do Peru’s are careful and my toes are always in good shape. The massage I get on my feet and legs is really fabulous. I have dry skin and feet and legs are very hydrated after a pedi.

Claire Durrell I generally only write a when applauding but felt compelled to share. I had not been back to this location for a while and usually go to Premier Nails on MI. Got a gel manicure with tips applied. Kind staff and super attentive but quality of manicure was pretty subpar for price. Nails were filed in inconsistent way ans odd shape to the point where they would have had to start over an hour+ in (some were square-round, others were square) nail color unevenly applied and marbled and not covering entirely of nail. Nail color all over cuticle. bummer to write but feel like it might be helpful to someone else.

sylvie sanguin Five friends booked a 4:30 PM appointment together, but with only two technicians available, the last person didn’t finish until after 7 PM. My daughter requested acrylic nails but ended up with thick gel nails that looked nothing like the reference picture she showed. The color wasn’t even close. My shy daughter tried to explain her preferences, but the technician was unresponsive. There seemed to be a language barrier, as the technician didn’t understand English well and didn’t make much effort to accommodate her wishes. Although we were given a $10 discount, it still came to $80 per person, which felt steep given the experience.

cat called on the phone to make an app. i arrived at the place only to find out that they couldn’t do my app even though I called ahead. the lady who was supposed to do it had an emergency which was fine, but they should’ve called and told me before I drove all the way down here. truly disappointed and a waste of time. never coming here again. i see why they have 3/5 stars :)

I bite my nails since I’m really young and it was really tinny and is ugly before. I’ve been doing my nail at this place for almost one year right now. Right now my nail is pretty long and healthy! Love it so much! I love this place :)

Amy Wang My experience here was great! I got a manicure and pedicure, and my technicians were both really nice, and even offered to get me drinks. Yes, it was expensive. Yes, I did have to wait for a few minutes before actually being seated. These were all complaints that people have been giving as their reason for rating this place such low stars. But I think that they don’t deserve this. The quality of their work and how great their service is definitely outdoes such complaints. We had some great conversations as well! Overall, my experience here was really great and my nails turned out really pretty!
