Brian McClay Went someplace else and they butchered my sons hair and Donna fixed it! My haircut by Latisha turned out great too. I will be going here from now on.

Scott McNeill Courtney did a terrific job with my hair! I appreciate her attention to detail and thorough work. She noticed when a spot was not sitting right and recommended changing the length -- it turned out great.

Wesley Cole Took my son to get his hair fixed that his dad totally botched. The chick did a good job on his hair but she left his hair trimmings all over his face, ears, neck and shirt. I mean I know its IMPOSSIBLE to totally be hair free I mean obviously its going to get places and fall in between gaps but this was like she didnt even wipe him down or brush him off or even give him a towel and say here kid wipe the hair off your face. I was next door with my daughter while he and his dad were in the salon and when they came to meet us I was so upset I wanted to take him back in there and say something to her. And I gave her a $10 tip too!!! Idk Maybe its not a big deal but it was to me my poor lil guy had hair in his eyes and mouth. Hes 10 but hes still my baby to me.

Pat Lane I like this place. Sometimes the music and the voices are too loud to suit me but I get a good haircut quickly and for a good price. The main thing is to check in on line before getting there and pick a good time. I went mid afternoon on a Tuesday and had no wait at all. Nichelle was attentive and focused her energy on me and my haircut which I appreciated. I want a stylist’s undivided attention and she gave it to me.

Sarah Wachs I have had a couple of visits to the cottage salon for services with Brigette. She is personable and professional. I appreciate that the salon has automated reminders for me and in the case of a need to reschedule, Brigette was always available in a timely manner. I am very happy with my cut and keratin treatment. I have rather unruly curly hair and she is familiar with texture and the proper styling techniques needed.

mmm Harley Lets see where do I begin I had an event coming up so I asked the lady if I can come in she said yes everything was great I came in At 8:30 p.m. I had we work the next day At 6:00 a.m. no problem I was a little worried because price point was very high but she said a be fine I said go ahead I need my highlights done but then when she was done there was only a little bit done in then there was A-line across my forehead the next day I was like no this wont work so I called her and said can you fix it well not today maybe Monday I said I had avent a white party to go to tonight what it cost me more she said normally yes but not for me so I said and then I said never mind I was very disappointed because normally my original hairdresser always fix my hair never left me with A-line across It to this day it looks ridiculous I had to go to another hairdresser and have them fix it which was more money out of my pocket I recommend that if you go here that you closely watch and asked not for the most experienced but for the person that wants to take their time and fix it right I look like a zebra I realize its peoples livelihood but if youre going to do someone hair make sure that they dont rush it and make sure that you have plenty of time to get it done right normally Ive paid 125 full foil she put in 8 foils for 125 Bucks plus I tipped her 10 bucks. Her first offer was 175 or something #badforbusiness

Marie Huggins Katrina is the best nail tech in the valley! She does just beautiful work.

Kyra West Very nice salon in downtown Mount Vernon. Super easy to book an appointment online but also friendly on the phone helping me. I went for a bit more color than usual and Bridget was great to work with.

Carol C Ritter I was greeted right away with a smile. Kathy took me back, the shampoo was nice and she listened to what I wanted. She understood and we were both on the same page. She did an amazing job, very happy with the service I receive, will be defiantly coming back.

Glenda Everett Ashley is a wonderful stylist. She listens and thoughtfully considers what I want and how it will work with my hair. She clearly knows what she is doing and takes the time to provide a quality cut.

Pure Joy Skin Care & Wax Studio I had the pleasure to have Kathy Perry blow dry and straight my wavy Italian hair. She also made sure my hair was sprayed with a climate sealer/thermal protection spray. Shes professional and knowledgeable and even gave me some ideas on where to go in Las Vegas.

Kara Bradley Brittany was so kind and thoughtful. She helped me with my hair needs. In this day and age you just don’t find many workers like her who go above and beyond with great customer service skills. Thank you Brittany.

Marisa Lyter Edit: I called and they gave me a refund after I came back in, the manager was so sweet and even gave me a cupcake for my birthday. She really made up for everything and I would even be willing to go back! Thank you for your kindness and customer service. I hate to write bad reviews but please just go spend a little extra on a haircut. I got my hair trimmed today, I walked in and asked if they had time and the lady took me right back which I thought was nice. She only look at my hair for a second then spent a minute or less washing my hair which has never happened in my experience. I asked for a trim with face framing and no layers because I look awful with them. She seemed very very rushed the whole time she was cutting my hair and used a technique I’ve only see people do when they are cutting huge layers, as she was doing it she said I would have a very very light layer which I didn’t think much of. After about 15 mins a lady walked in and she said I’m just finishing up a haircut and we’ll start, I thought it was kind of odd since my hair was still wet. She ended up taking 25 mins or less on my hair from start to finish. I would have loved to have had my hair styled but I was never given the option, I just thought that was standard to at least get a blow dry (I could be wrong, but again I was never asked). After my hair dried I realized that I had layers only on one side of my head starting at my chin. I’m terribly upset about this, my 30th birthday is in a month and I won’t even be able to curl my hair for it. I just wished that the stylist would have told me she really didn’t have time to do my hair I would have gladly came back at a different time.. Please don’t do this to anyone else, we all deserve to have the proper amount of time taken on our hair. It will take me a long time to grow back what was cut.

Heather Johnson I had received a women’s long haircut for $20. Amanda focused on my split ends like no one ever has before. The attention to detail was impeccable. I’m very happy with my hair and will definitely be back.

Kimberly Crabtree e older lady isn’t up to date with hair cuts for men or women I even had a video that explained exactly how I wanted it and she still didn’t listen when I was done I noticed a section that was missing layers and tried to correct her but she kept insisting it was right so I just said fine. The only things good was her price… however the younger Mexican dude was taking people left and right while taking his time and paid attention to detail and his customers.

Susan Flores My husband went in here to get a haircut. One woman had just gotten done cutting a mans hair. My husband said "I need my hair cut" the woman said nothing to him swept up the hair from the other guys cut and went in the back. There are 2 other stylists doing hair for 2 other customers. My husband sat down in the waiting area thinking the woman was coming back. No one said a word to him. He waited 20 minutes. No one helped him what so ever. He left not getting his hair cut and wasting his time. Horrible customer service.
